Out-Of-Character Information
What is your Minecraft username?:
rsqc
Do you have Discord (If so, what is your discord username?):
rsqc. (period)
What is your time zone?:
EST (Eastern Standard Time)
Describe your activity on the server:
I spend my time on the server, lurking around the map to roleplay with someone or standing far into the abyss looking at them from a distance..
Anywho. . .
I usually go online to FamilyRP with the Baek's, Minori's or any other family I'm a part of. If none are available, I'm mostly spending my time RomanceRP'ing, where time just randomly goes by without me noticing the clock. And yes, I do lose myself a lot when I DetailRP, because I write slowly (and easily-invested). Sometimes I do free photography of people, mostly the AFK's, and share the results with them. At times, I get on SRP to disconnect with my situation in the real world. Therefore, I treat SRP as though it is my safe space, and that's the main reason I have spent a total playtime of: Well, a lot.
My activity varies depending on my IRL schedule since I'm quite busy with work. I'm usually active during night hours and after work. When I'm off work, I’m usually very active in those times alone. I spend most of my free time on SRP. If I were to rate my activity out of 10, I'd say I'm an 8.

Yes, I understand.
School Employee Role you are applying for?:
Caretaker
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
A School Caretaker is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of the school. This includes performing minor repairs, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring school facilities remain clean and functional.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I’ve been actively playing on SchoolRP since early 2017-2018. Over the years, I’ve gained a wide range of experience in several roleplay styles, including GangRP and CrimeRP. I’ve also spent a significant amount of time within the School Employee Faction, first as a Caretaker and later as Head of Nurse. My time in these roles helped me develop a strong understanding of how the faction operates, both in-character and OOCly. Though I stepped down from the head position after a while, the time I spent leading and supporting others was invaluable.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
As mentioned above, I have previous experience in the School Employee Faction and genuinely enjoyed my time working within it. I initially resigned because I needed a break due to some OOC responsibilities and real-life work that made balancing everything a bit overwhelming. However, after some time away, I feel refreshed and ready to return. I had kept word to my former faction lead that I’d come back when the time felt right, and now it does. Whether I return to my previous role or explore a new position, I’m excited to contribute once again.

Situations
/*Do not mention use of FearRP*/

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
If a student is misbehaving, she will calmly warn them and remind them to watch their behavior, especially around others on school grounds. If the student corrects their behavior, she will leave it with a verbal warning. However, if the behavior continues, she will take appropriate disciplinary action, which may include issuing a detention slip.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
She would immediately intervene, firmly instructing the students, "Break it up now and let go of each other." Once they are separated, she would ensure both students have calmed down before addressing the situation. She would explain the seriousness of their actions and inform them that fighting on school grounds is unacceptable and will result in detention for assault before dismissing them.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
She would radio them and ask to speak privately before addressing their behavior and reminding them to remain professional and prioritize safety. If the inappropriate conduct continues, she would escalate the matter to the SLT or submit a report if no SLT members are available.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
She is naturally quiet and reserved, but her calm presence leaves a lasting impression on those around her. While she speaks directly and gets to the point, she remains respectful and approachable, creating a professional and dependable atmosphere.
Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
/me
grabbed a stool and carried it toward one of the taller cabinets lining the hallway. Baek carefully climbed up to inspect the top shelves, noticing a thin layer of dust that had settled along the surface. Pulling out her duster, she gave it a light spray of cleaner before wiping the shelves with slow, deliberate strokes, making sure to reach every corner. After confirming the area was spotless, she climbed down, returned the step stool to its proper place, and continued her routine inspection of the school.
/me entered the faculty's lounge carrying her cleaning supplies. She carefully swept and mopped the floor before moving on to clean the countertops, microwave, and coffee machine in the kitchen. After ensuring everything was spotless and neatly organized, she left the lounge in cleaning condition.
/me arrived early and quietly prepared for the day ahead. She neatly put on her uniform, checked that all of her cleaning supplies were fully stocked, and gathered her equipment before beginning her rounds. Then made her way through the school corridors, ensuring every area remained clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff alike.

Backstory
Baek Jiyeon was born on September 5th, 1996, into the Baek family, a name that carried tradition, responsibility, and expectations. From an early age, she was raised with the understanding that her actions reflected not only upon herself, but upon the family she represented. The Baek family valued discipline, ambition, and loyalty, qualities that shaped Jiyeon throughout her childhood. However, despite the expectations placed upon her, she was never someone content with simply following a predetermined path.

Jiyeon sought to discover her own capabilities and find a place where she could prove herself through her own efforts. That search eventually led her to motorsports, a world far removed from the formal expectations surrounding her family name. At nineteen, she began pursuing a racing career, entering an environment where success was determined by preparation, skill, and composure rather than reputation.

The racing world challenged her in ways she had never experienced before. Every competition demanded focus, every mistake carried consequences, and every achievement had to be earned. Through years of dedication, Jiyeon developed a reputation for remaining calm under pressure and adapting to difficult situations. Racing became more than a career; it became the foundation that shaped her discipline and determination.

By her early twenties, Jiyeon began seeking new ways to express herself. At twenty-three, she transitioned into modeling and acting, entering an industry that required a different form of confidence. While racing tested her control and decision-making, entertainment challenged her ability to communicate, connect, and portray emotions beyond her own experiences. Through persistence and professionalism, she established herself within both fields.

Her accomplishments did not go unnoticed by the Baek family. Despite choosing a path outside of traditional expectations, Jiyeon demonstrated the qualities that the family valued most: commitment, resilience, and the ability to represent the Baek name with integrity. Her achievements across multiple fields eventually gained the attention of the Baek Family Council.

After careful consideration, the council recognized Jiyeon’s accomplishments and character, choosing her to become one of its members. This recognition was not simply granted because of her surname, but because of the reputation she built through her own actions. The decision represented the family’s acknowledgment that Jiyeon had grown into someone capable of carrying responsibility while still maintaining her individuality.

Becoming part of the Family Council marked a new chapter in her life. The role was not a reward for success alone, but a responsibility to help guide the future of the Baek family. Jiyeon understood that leadership required more than influence; it required patience, understanding, and the ability to see beyond personal ambition.

Today, Jiyeon stands as someone shaped by many experiences. She is a former racer who learned discipline through competition, a model and actress who discovered the power of expression, and a member of the Baek Family Council entrusted with preserving the values of her family.

Her journey was never about escaping the Baek name or proving she was separate from it. It was about showing that she could honor its legacy while creating one of her own.

The family gave her a name. Her choices gave that name meaning.

Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
"Throughout my career, I have spent much of my life in environments where high standards and accountability were expected every day. Whether it was during my years as a professional racer or later working in the entertainment industry, I learned the importance of setting an example, adapting to new challenges, and carrying myself with respect toward those around me.

Joining Karakura High School as a caretaker would allow me to step away from the spotlight and contribute to a community in a more meaningful way. I believe a school is more than just a place for education - it is a space where students should feel comfortable, supported, and safe. By helping maintain the campus, assisting staff when needed, and offering a dependable presence to students, I hope to contribute to an environment where everyone can focus on learning and personal growth.

Although my experiences have taken me through many different industries, they have all taught me the value of patience, teamwork, and leading through actions rather than words. I believe those qualities would allow me to serve Karakura High School with a sense of purpose, ensuring that even behind the scenes, I can make a positive impact on the daily lives of both students and faculty."

JIyeon chuckled.

"And, if I'm being completely honest, another reason I'd love to join KHS is because a few of my favorite cousins happen to study here. It would be nice to stay close to them - and maybe keep an eye on them to make sure they don't get themselves into too much trouble."
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I have previously been accepted as a Caretaker and Head of Nurses, along with being a member of Faculty for over a year, which has given me strong familiarity with the responsibilities and expectations during school hours. I am reliable, organized, and dedicated to ensuring that everything operates smoothly and efficiently. During my time in Faculty,
I became someone many members could rely on due to my commitment, consistency, and willingness to support others.
My strengths include managing reports, assisting new Faculty members as they learn their roles, and stepping in whenever fellow employees need support. I take pride in being a dependable member who contributes positively to the environment and helps maintain a high standard of professionalism within a roleplay setting.
