My activities vary depending on my IRL schedule since I'm quite busy with work. I'm usually active during night hours and after work. When I'm off work, I’m usually very active in those times alone. Mostly on SRP daily. Out of 10 I'd say I'm an 8 for being active. I get on to disconnecting from what is happening in the real world with stress and work. Currently I’m on paid leave till January, so I’ll be available any time of the day!

A school librarian helps students and teachers find and use books, technology, and other learning resources. They organize and care for the library’s collection, teach students how to find information, and encourage reading through activities and recommendations. They also help with research projects, manage library computers, and make sure the library is a welcoming place for learning and exploration.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:

I’ve been actively playing on SchoolRP since early 2017-2018. Over the years, I’ve gained a wide range of experience in several roleplay styles, including GangRP and CrimeRP. I’ve also spent a significant amount of time within the School Employee Faction, first as a Caretaker and later as Head of Nurse. My time in these roles helped me develop a strong understanding of how the faction operates, both in-character and OOCly. Though I stepped down from the head position after a while, the time I spent leading and supporting others was invaluable.

Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
As mentioned above, I have previous experience in the School Employee Faction and genuinely enjoyed my time working within it. I initially resigned because I needed a break due to some OOC responsibilities and real-life work that made balancing everything a bit overwhelming. However, after some time away, I feel refreshed and ready to return. I had kept word to my former faction lead that I’d come back when the time felt right, and now it does. Whether I return to my previous role or explore a new position, I’m excited to contribute once again.

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
If a student misbehaves, he would calmly warn and tell them to "Watch your behavior, especially around others on school grounds." If the student corrects themselves, he'd leave it with a warning. But if the behavior continues, he'd take disciplinary action leading to him handing them a detention slip.

You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
He would immediately rush over to intervene, demanding to. “Break it up now and let go of each other.” Once separated, he would quickly make sure both students are calm before addressing the situation. He would firmly explain the seriousness of their actions and tell them that such behavior will result in detention for assault before letting them go.

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
He would radio them, ask them to speak with them privately before addressing their behavior and reminding them to stay professional and safe. If the inappropriate actions continue, Res would either take this up to SLT or report them, if no SLT are available.

When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
He would be welcoming, even if he spoke pretty bold and formal. Res will still leave a good impression to the rest of his co-workers. Preparing a fresh cup of coffee before taking a seat, or standing by the window and appreciate the view.

grabbed the stool from his office, carrying it toward one of the taller bookshelves tucked in the far corner of the library. He sat the stool down firmly, placing a careful step onto it as his eyes scanned to the upper shelves. Spotting the book he needed, reaching up and slid it free, noticing a thin layer of dust clinging to its spine and the surrounding wood. Pulling his swifter duster from his side, giving it a few sprays of cleaner before moving in slow, deliberate strokes along the shelf’s edge, sweeping away every trace of dust. He made sure to clean the empty space where the book had sat, checking each corner before lowering himself from the stool and returning it neatly to his office.



/me sat down at the circulation desk, organizing a small stack of returned books when a student approached with a novel in hand. Res offered a warmth smile and reached for the book before asking. &f“Do you have your library card?” &uOnce he got his card, he scanned the barcode of the book and typed in the student’s ID. With a quiet tap of the keyboard, he confirmed the checkout and gently slid the book back across the counter. &f“It’s due back in two weeks,” &uHe kindly said, making sure the student had their receipt before watching them leave with their new reading.

/me noticed a book left open between the couch seats, its pages slightly bent from being read. He'd carefully lifted the book from the cushions, closing it gently while smoothing out the edges with his fingers. Cradling it with both hands, before walking his way to the nearby bookshelf. His eyes quickly scanned the rows until he found the right spot, then slid the book carefully between its neighbors, making sure it was aligned perfectly. Taking a step back and glanced over the shelf, satisfied that everything was neat and orderly once again.

Backstory

Chapter I - A Quiet Beginning
April 8th, 1987, Seoul. Res Minori was born into a large family in the city of Seoul, South Korea. As his father’s fifth child, Res was known for his quiet, attentive, and observant nature, traits that set him apart in a household teeming with life. His early years were deeply impacted by the sudden disappearance of his mother, a loss that left a significant void in the Minori family. Barely able to speak at the time, Res found himself growing up quickly, shaped by the absence of his mother's nurturing presence.

Zen, despite his stern exterior, was profoundly affected by the loss of his wife. He channeled his grief into ensuring his children's well-being, albeit through his own pragmatic and sometimes harsh methods. In the wake of his wife’s disappearance, Zen hired tutors and at-home teachers to provide a quality education for his children. Despite the structured learning environment, Res often found himself drawn to the world outside the textbooks. His siblings, with their penchant for delinquent activities, introduced him to a side of life that was both thrilling and dangerous. These experiences, although troublesome, taught Res valuable lessons about resilience, loyalty, and the importance of family bonds.

Zen's approach to parenting was influenced by his own tumultuous past. He instilled in his children the values of perseverance and hard work, often sharing stories from his own childhood to illustrate the importance of these traits. The Minori household was a blend of chaos and care, where each member played a role in maintaining the fragile balance. Res's older siblings often acted as surrogate parents, guiding him through the complexities of growing up without a mother. Zen, though a stern figure, showed his love through actions rather than words, ensuring that the family remained strong and united. Despite the challenges, the Minori children found solace and strength in each other.

Chapter II - Discovering Identity
As Res grew older, his quiet demeanor often masked a deep well of curiosity and intelligence. In Japan, Res's knowledge of Japanese culture and sign language became crucial in helping him navigate his new environment. His ability to communicate effectively earned him friends who treated him like family, providing a sense of belonging that he had long sought. These friendships were a lifeline, helping Res adapt to his new life and offering support in times of need.

At fifteen, Res’s life took another unexpected turn when he met August, a German-Japanese girl who would become the love of his life. Their relationship blossomed quickly, rooted in mutual respect and understanding. August helped Res navigate the complexities of adolescence and language barriers, becoming his anchor in a sea of change. Their bond grew stronger over time, culminating in a deep and enduring love.

Chapter III - Overcoming Challenges
Despite facing opposition from rival families and skepticism from some of Res's siblings, the couple’s love remained unshakable. Res respected his family's opinions but stood firm in his commitment to August, determined to protect their relationship at all costs. Their love story was not without its challenges, but it was these very challenges that solidified their bond.

Transitioning into fatherhood brought a new set of responsibilities for Res. The arrival of their twin daughters marked the beginning of a new chapter, filled with both joy and challenges.
