What experiences do you have with roleplay?:

I’ve roleplayed for a few years now but when it comes to SRP I’ve been in a few factions. I had been a surgeon before. I have also been a professor, teacher, and KPD. I also have been playing on SRP for almost two years. I do still remember some of the medical roleplay experience.

What is your motivation for applying?

My motivation for applying is the fact I want to take another chance at being a surgeon. At the time when I first applied for surgeon I wasn’t able to really be active due to personal issues but now I would be able to. I generally liked being a surgeon at the time being. I also have learned more over time and feel as if I could understand a lot more now. I also really want to put myself out there again I miss being a part of something.

Which role are you applying for?
(Surgeon, Doctor, or Psychiatrist):

Surgeon.

What knowledge do you have of Hospital Work?

I know many different things of Hospital work but here are the details I know behind the different roles.

Hospital Director

The Hospital Director is the head, the base of the hospital. They coordinate activities, management, workers, oversee payments.. Etc, they control what happens under their control. They make sure the hospital stays, a safe place for those in need of help. They plan out most events and watch for the outcome of those events. The director does check-ups on every clinical monthly or even weekly.

Clinical Manager

Clinical Manager’s role is to maintain the responsibility of the administrative aspect, figuring employment, training, operations, budgets, reviewment of treatment. They as well control the clinical leads, checking in with those to check on their departments. They also work beside the director and help around the whole hospital but mostly stick to just helping with the clinicals.

Clinical Lead

Clinical leads each have their own department that they control, say someone who is the clinical lead of the doctor department they make sure their doctors are inline and are able to be an outstanding physician. Most clinical leads stick to only one clinical but their roles can easily be passed down to another higher up if they are to leave.

Surgeon

Surgeons tend to treat injuries, diseases or even sometimes deformities with an operation. They use many instruments, to do these functions, plastics, general, nero, cardio or anything that is to benefit your health through a major surgery they’ll do it. Surgeons stick to helping with everything since they’re trained to do a lot.

Doctor

Typically doctors are known for interacting with patients, tending to be the first one they meet and make sure to have some comfort within in a scary moment. They tend to diagnose medical problems, figure treatment plans/care for the said patient. If a surgeon is out a doctor can fill in their place but only for some types of care.

Psychiatrist

This department tends to care more on the mental aspect, though Psychiatrists can treat minor injuries that come in time-to-time they focus more on the mental aspect. The gray area in recovery, the substances to help weaken some mental illnesses, etc. Psychiatrists as well make sure to prescribe and endure the best mental care for their patient.

Throughout EMS working you have to go through certian trainings that teaches you how to understand some situations.

Backstory (100+ Words)

Yong So-hyun was born on October 21st, 1992 in Changwon, South Korea. She was raised by a very poor family who ended up very sick. One day while Yong was growing up she found her mother dying on the floor. She gained trauma from this day and had never forgotten it. During her child years she tried to steal medicine for her other family members but she never understood what would help. She started to ask people for what she could use but it had all been out of her budget. No matter what she did she couldn’t get her hands on any medicines for her family. She started to gain rage over this and blamed the higher people for everything. After all of her rage she decided the only way to get what she wanted was to become smarter. She started to try to read books that would teach her the cheapest medicines that are easy to put her hands on. She gave up after some time but still tried to find out what she could do. One day she had seen what had changed her life; a hospital. Yong had never seen a hospital before due to her family being poor and not being able to afford to go to a hospital.

During her highschool years she decided to head straight into medical classes. Why did she do this? Because she thought she could maybe get more into medicines and help her family but she was wrong. She started to learn more about the body, how it runs, how the body functions, how it changes, and what can mess up the body. She started to have more interest in the classes after knowing that she could learn more than just medicines. She decided the best thing she could do is raise her grades more and possibly get into college. By the end of her highschool years she had great grades overall! She decided to apply to Yonsei University, which she got into.

At the beginning of her college years it had gotten hard for her but she started to take classes for Human psychology. She had taken these classes very seriously and focused most of her time on them. In the middle of her college years she had gotten an internship for a local hospital. She decided to take this as a serious thing due to how she could see how a hospital is run. She thought doctors would catch her eyes more but it ended up being surgeons who caught onto her. She was so interested in what they were doing. After doing her internship she continued with her college years. She ended up completing her 6th year and moved onto looking for workplaces.

She started to work as an Operating room registered nurse for a couple of years. During those times she was still studying about anything she could.

(Ensure this is appropriate to the position you have chosen)

Yong had stayed at Yonsei University for 6 years while studying human psychology, other than that she was supported with a place to stay while being a nurse to older aged people.

SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique?

Yong, a 31 year old woman with brown hair that had a strip of blue running down the front. Her eyes were a light brown that seemed very soft. She would be standing at 5’4, a tiny woman at most. Her face would still seem very childish but serious. Yong has a sweet touch to her that makes her calm anyone down very quickly. Her tone in her voice would be very soft and she would always speak sweetly to anyone around her. She always has a smile on her face and makes sure to show it off.

How does your character act on and off duty?

On - Duty

She’s very respectful when she is on duty. She makes sure that her co-workers feel comfortable with what they have to work around. She makes sure to always listen to what she is told. She usually will make sure to comfort her co-workers after they do something hard to make sure they’re okay. She respects her higher-ups with all of her heart and makes sure that her higher-ups know it. She makes sure to stay on task and that everything is done right. She tends to stay on track and tries to take things slowly so nothing is messsed up.

Off - Duty

Yong doesn’t change much off duty except for letting her fun side come out more. She is still very respectful to people around her when she's off duty. She makes sure that everything around is safe and sound. She always looks out for people that are around her.

Does your character function better on their own or with others?

Yong can function on her own but she wants to try to get along better with people. She believes that she can go both ways; working with people and working by herself. When she is found working on her own she is much faster than she is when she works with others. When she is working with others she mostly will tend to pay attention to what the others are doing so they are safe.

What plans does your character have for the future?

She plans to have more time for others and keeping people safe. She’s very selfless at some points so she really focuses on other people. She also plans on being a total hardworker due to the fact she wants to be able to pass through life easily when it comes to money. She also wants to see other people being able to live on.

How is your character perceived by others? How does it contrast with their perception of themself?

Many people find her sweet and caring while others see her as an angel. They are mostly found being taken care of by her. She doesn’t always agree with others but she does find herself caring. She has always tried to help others in anyway she could.

DENIED
The Hospital Higher-Ups appreciate your interest in the faction, and after
carefully reviewing your application, we have decided to, unfortunately,
deny your application.

We appreciate your efforts and your motivation to join our faction,
but we have made this decision based on the following reason(s):

- CAPACITY: Due to the vast amount of applicants that try their best to get into the faction, we
often have to deny good applicants because there are others that have been deemed as
better choices, whether it's due to server reputation or due to the detail that was put
into their application.
