Describe your activity on SchoolRP:
I am usually very active on the server, mainly on my pleenis account. Since school started back up my activity has been decreased a bit, but I do try to still log on as much as I can. Seeing as I am doing my second last year of secondary school, I am quite busy with homework and such but I always will log on for at least an hour a day. Maybe less depending on how much homework I get. But, I will never be very inactive unless I have something important going on that requires me to be inactive. I understand that my nurse application was denied due to me not being on that account but I have now learnt from that mistake and will be on this account everyday.

Describe your roleplay experience with SchoolRP and other roleplay networks in general:
I like to think I have much roleplay experience. I believe I have been on this server for over two years (?) and I have made my way through many different forms of roleplay. Of course, when I first joined, I wasn't that serious with it and may have fallen in with the wrong group. But, as I spent more time on the server, I got a lot better with roleplay and the seriousness in it. I did start better detailRP before I had joined the football team.

Once I joined the football team, my roleplay skills skyrocketed. Seeing as I was on a more well-known team and interacted with cheerleaders more, I learnt a lot. This proved to do very well for me and I believe that this really did good for me and my roleplay skills. While I am no longer on the team, I am still friends with them and can still roleplay with them for better experience.

Another thing that helped me with my roleplay experience is when I was on the student-council. This helped with being more serious and since I had a different character, I was able to play around with different character personalities. From there, I began making more characters and being able to make them all their own person is very fun to me. Before I make a character, I plan out their personality first and from that I am able to create a look.

What are your current roles on SchoolRP:
Currently, I just have two Grade-12 accounts and one Grade-11 account.

What is the subject you want to teach?:
I would like to teach business.

TRIVIA SECTION

What is your motivation for becoming a professor?:

My motivation for becoming a professor is more roleplay experience. I believe the work roleplay and adult roleplay will help me expand my horizons a lot. I applied for all these different things so I could increase my experience in roleplay and become better. I want to experience all different aspects and seeing as I have already done a lot of student RP, I would love to experience adult RP and the work aspect of it. I was originally going to apply for teacher but I realized that if I'm doing this for the roleplay experience, teacher may not be the best with all the new-players and trollers that join classes. I have seen this in classes I have joined and it does seem very stressful and teachers don't seem to get a great experience from it. I find professor has more of a roleplay aspect to it and that college students may be a better help to it.

Work out two interactive classes you will host if accepted:

1. The first class I would host is on the accounting books. In this class I would first like to see who knows what about this topic and perhaps ask some questions such as what side is credit on and what side is debit on. Once I am able to know where everyone is at with the topic, I would move onto teaching them about this. Like what a debtor is, what a creditor is, assets etc, etc. Naturally, I would like for them to take notes while I teach the topic or I could also prepare the notes before hand so that they know what they are to be learning. Then, in the next class I think it'd be fun to play a game I see going on in most highschool classes. It may be done a lot but I think it's a nice, little way to help them learn.

2. The second class is the game class. But, before starting it I would have them partner up and give each other a question or two on the topic each. Once every is finished, then I will split the class up into two equal parts and bring two up at a time. Once the two are up, I'd ask them a question on the topic and they could use their notes to find the answer. The first person to answer right gets a reward token and the other will go back to their side while the winning one sits down. I changed it up that way so that every student will have a fair chance at getting a reward token from the game instead of just having them go to their team again.

Work out a field trip (meaning a class outside school grounds) you will host if accepted:
A field trip I would like to host is going to a shop whilst it's closed and be talked to by a shopkeeper. Of course, I would get OOC permission from them before hand. The shopkeeper will talk the students through what it's like owning a business, taxes and so on. They may be asked to take notes for a little trivia on the business next class just to make sure everyone was listening. If the shopkeeper does not mind, maybe they would give each student a small free thing from their business. Preferably, I would be bringing them to a restaurant but anywhere works, really. The business owner could maybe walk through what they have to do to get stock for their business and how they pay their employees whilst making enough money for themselves to pay taxes and stock.

SCENARIO SECTION

Your character would encounter a group of college jocks surrounding a bobcat jock, what would your character do?

My character would walk up the the group of jocks and simply just ask if everything is alright. The situation can't be taken any way yet. The group could be friends so it would be silly to just go up to them and tell the college jocks to leave the Bobcat jock alone if there wasn't anything bad going on. Of course, they could lie about the situation and that's why after talking with them, she'd keep an eye on them from a little further away to make sure nothing bad was going on. If not, then happy days. But, if there was an issue, my character would of course walk up to them and separate the group. She would tell them to keep away from eachother to ensure the safety of the bobcat student along with a detention threat if they are seen together again.

Your character would be supervising detention, one of the students constantly disturbs by asking stupid questions, what would your character do?
At first, the student would be told to stop with the silly questions. If it carried one, they would be asked to stop again. Eventually, my character would just ignore the student completely, in hopes that they would stop. But, if they were to carry on and only start to disturb the detention more, she'd contact SLT and ask what to do with the student. But that's only if there were other students in detention. If it was just them alone, she would not contact SLT and just continue to ignore the student until the detention was finished.

Your character would be hosting a class, and a group of cheerleaders keeps on playing songs on the phone and call out other students in the class, what would your character do?
Of course, they would be asked to stop first. If they continued, they would be asked to stop again. If they had to be asked to stop a third time, they'd be given a detention threat. Assuming that these cheerleaders were not inside the class, once they had reached a third detention threat, they would be given detention. But, if the cheerleaders were in the class, they would be kicked out of the class. And if they continued outside of the class, they would be given a detention. Even after receiving detention, they continue then another staff member would be called to take the students away so that my character could carry on with her class.

Your character would be walking on the school perimeter and encounter a fight between a couple of students, your character tried to break it up but it didn't help, what would your character do?
After trying to break it up and failing, she would call more staff members to help with the situation. While waiting for the other staff, my character would give the students detention. After the extra help had arrived, she and the other staff member would attempt to break up the fight and make sure all students are told if they don't arrive to detention, there would be further consequences. And that if the students are seen together fighting again, SLT will be called.

CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE

My character, Maia Vasilakis, is a female standing at the height of 5'9. She has quite the average build with long enough brown hair. Her hair was wavy and usually tied in a low ponytail behind her. Maia has an olive skin tone with peachy tone to her complexion. Her skin is very smooth and radiant, her face giving a healthy glow. She has a small-ish bump on her nose, medium sized. Her lips are plump with a bit of a large mouth. The females eyelashes were quite thick naturally, it paired perfectly with her big, green eyes. She usually wears tight skirts or flaring pants, anything to give her a more mature look. She always wears her white frame glasses. Apart from when she sleeps, she does not wear her glasses when she sleeps.

Maia is of Greek decent, having spent most her life there. She's a fast learner and even though her aura and facial expression make her seem a more serious person, she's very kind and fun-loving. Though, at times, her patience may be short. She is very listening and understanding and doesn't think badly of anyone unless they give her a reason to. But, other than those, there isn't anything much else that makes her very unique or different. Maia is mature and serious when it comes to her teaching, as any other teacher or professor would be. Or should be.

My character has a very positive outlook on students. She wants to be close to her students and would do whatever to ensure every one of them is safe. Maia wants her students to be able to talk to her, not just about school work, but about anything that is troubling them. Such as, if they were being bullied, Maia would take care of it straight away. Her students mean a lot to her and she wants to make sure they have a good school experience.

Maia doesn't have any problems with colleagues unless they give her a reason to have a problem with them. All Maia hopes is that the other staff treat the students with respect, aren't biased towards any and take their job seriously. She isn't a fan of people who don't do what they are supposed to. But, if she does not witness this from any of her colleagues then she will not have a problem with them. Naturally, there would be some she liked more than others, but other than that there is no ill intent from her towards anyone.

She is quite a gentle person and also very hard-working. She would never purposely make anyone upset and such and if she were to, she would apologize straight away. Maia takes her duties very seriously and will do her best to carry them out. Her melodic voice suits her personality quite well, soothing and careful. As a teacher, she is quite strict but only when she is required to be. As kind as she is, she hates being disturbed or distracted from her tasks or class. Her patience can run quite short at times and she can get mad easily. She has no ill intent behind this, it's just something that happens and she is not particularly proud of this trait of hers. Nevertheless, she will never let anything get in the way of her and her job.

Maia doesn't really think of the future. She believes that whatever happens, happens and that's that. But, she does have a small little thing planned. She does want to meet the love of her life. The one thing she has all planned out for the future is her wedding. Maia is a big hopeless romantic and her plan for the future is meeting the man of her dreams, getting married and having a family. But, no matter how badly she wants to go out and look, work is always going to be her top priority. Maia is sure that love will come to her though. That if it's meant to be, it'll be.

Describe how your character ended up becoming a teacher and their previous life. It is optional to include earlier life but recommended.

Maia was born in Asos, Greece, spending most her life there. Maia had a very normal childhood. A father, a mother and an older brother. There really wasn't much important events in her childhood. She had a rather nice life though. Her mother owned her very own restaurant, 5 star. This gave them a great income so she didn't lack anything. Maia's father was a business teacher. Sometimes she would walk in on him planning out his business classes and Maia was really fascinated by this. She crept in to him planning his classes whenever she could and always got him to tell her everything he could about business. Maia's mother caught on with this and also started tell Maia things about how she runs her business and such. Of course, seeing as how young Maia was, she didn't understand most of this but she was a bright child. Maia's brother on the other hand was always interested in law, action and crime busting. He was more of a mommy's boy. This did lead to parent favouritism but no matter what, the family loved eachother all the same.

Going into highschool, Maia excelled in business studies with the extra help of her father. Her four top subjects were business, accounting, maths and Japanese. She did well in her other subjects as well but those were her best ones. But, it was only in her second year of highschool that some insecurities had started to surface for her. Maia wasn't exactly unattractive but she was picked on for her braces, glasses and acne. This never really bothered her that much but she was always afraid that she wouldn't find a boyfriend due to it. She never really could do anything about her braces but she did get contacts and started wearing more makeup. This did tone down the bullying but never completely stopped it. Even though she was spending extra time on her appearance, she never stopped working hard on her studies. But, it did increase her stress. In Maia's third year of highschool she had been diagnosed with high blood pressure. She decided to stop caring so much about her looks and just indulged herself into her studies. She stopped socializing and lost some friends to popularity. This didn't bother Maia as much as it should have, she just wanted to get into college and pass all her subjects. She spent the rest of her highschool career rather lonely but at the top of all her classes. Eventually, college exams rolled around and she aced every one of them.

Maia had decided to enroll in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and got in. She majored in business, teaching and accounting, minoring in maths. Naturally, she did really well in college, also the top of her classes there. Outside of her college classes, she took Japanese courses and eventually became fluent in Japanese. Maia did six years of university and eventually landed her first job as a business teacher in her old highschool in Asos. She taught here for five years and then moved to Japan to teach there. She landed her first job as professor in a college in Tokyo for business studies. She only worked there for two years before leaving to teach in a smaller area to connect with her workplace better.
