Describe your activity on the server:
My activity on the server is pretty good, a 9/10 as I spend around 6-7 hours on the server on average. Currently, I’m in only one faction with that being professor however I have been in several other factions including EMS, KPD, Teacher, and council. Out of those 4 factions two of them I was very active in. Should I be accepted for the faction I can guarantee that I will be very active and probably get even more than 7 hours a day while getting in 2 openings usually every day unless I’m busy with school. With professor being my only other role as of writing this due to it not being a super time-intensive faction, I will likely still have a lot of time to do shopkeeper things.

What shop are you applying for?:
I am applying for where Club Umbra used to be right next to block L. Should I get accepted and someone else also gets accepted but wants Club Umbra as well I would be fine moving to another location as long as it has a basement as the store having a basement or upper floor is pretty important for the design of my store should my application be accepted.

Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:
There are a few main reasons I want to be a shopkeeper
Interest in the faction.
My interest in the shop faction has always been pretty high. Having applied the last wave and getting denied I figured this wave I would give it another shot. I’ve wanted to be a shopkeeper or a BMD since I joined the server and never really got to experience both. I’ve worked at a couple of stores during my time on SRP. Even getting to the rank of manager at one before demotivation hit me. However, now I would like to attempt to own my store on SRP. And attempt to apply one more time. While I’m sure there are other amazing applications I do, I hope I can get into this one to experience one of the few factions I’ve wanted to try since joining the server.

Experience for real life.
I wish to apply for this store because in real life. I eventually want to own a store in Japan should my idea as a coder in Japan not work out. While this is just a roleplay server I do believe it would provide useful information on how I could manage a business.

To do something more creative on the server.
My time on the server I haven’t been as creative as I wish I could have been. Having made several characters during my time on the server while I do like them and find them to be quite interesting none of them have ever been interesting enough to keep my interest completely which is why I would like to own a store that could assist criminals or assist KPD depending on what is allowed. This would be an interesting idea to me as I’ve always considered doing something to help gangrp without being directly involved and this shop feels like the best way to do so and make things more interesting while following one of my biggest interests on the server since joining.

What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?:
There are several things about my shop that I believe to be unique at least from what I’ve seen in the 3 stores I’ve worked for so far on SRP. I believe there is 1 super unique thing and two not as unique as I’m sure it’s been done before or someone else has done something similar to it. And another idea I’m sure has been done before and could even be used in another store right now. So I will break them each into separate sections to make this more understandable.

Idea 2. Assisting crime store / assisting kpd store
There are two possibilities for what I want this to mean. While I would prefer the idea of it assisting crime. If that’s not allowed I would be okay with it being used to assist kpd instead. This idea is to have 3 private meeting rooms in the basement. These can be rented out by parties of 10 or more people. With 1 being the smallest for 50k, the second being the second largest for 150k and the 3rd being the largest for 200k. These rooms will be believed to be a private meeting area although there will be a hidden CCTV camera in a spot where it could actually hear things and record the audio. This could be used for 3 different things. One being used to send the recording to an opposite gang for either money or protection from other people. Or for sending the recording to kpd as no masks will be allowed in the store so the camera could pick up on who is who. Or used for a third option where it’s actual private meeting areas should the gang using it be one that pays well or supports the store and doesn’t go after people the shopkeeper likes. Of course if the whole crime idea isn’t allowed I would be okay with the private meeting rooms being used for any other thing for parties or still used for gang meetings just has to be reported to kpd. Although I would prefer the crime aspect of it.

Idea 3. No CCTV in the main area.
To encourage gang meetings to happen in the store in the private area there will be absolutely zero CCTV cameras in the main area along with the basement aside from the few secret cameras only the shopkeeper would have access to viewing. Because of this it will be encouraged that the employees are recording secretly the entire time to give the illusion of no recordings in the building when in reality every sound made in the restaurant is being recorded from several different angles. However, to prevent the employees from going to the cops or allowing the shopkeeper to report things to make sure their employees don’t get hurt is that the employees will send the recording to the person leading the shift and if it’s not the owner the recording will eventually be sent to the owner. This can be used should the police investigate the building for a gang meeting they will be told there are no cameras capturing anything if it’s a gang the shopkeeper likes or is a group of criminals they support. Or in cases where they want the criminals arrested they will show the recording to the police getting the criminals arrested.

Idea 4. Entirely in character applications
This is a pretty simple one I’m sure has been done before but I figured I would mention it as it is a key aspect of the shop. This being entirely in character meetings. This will include showing up to the store, getting a book that you can write and sign with your ic name and placing it in a chest outside. These will be reviewed and a few people will come in for an interview.

What will you sell in your shop?:
I plan to sell alcohol and basic snacks that can easily be cooked. While I won’t be hiring chefs most of the food will be cooked by the shopkeeper themselves.
I don’t have an exact list of alcohol so it would most likely be any public alcohol stores are allowed to have. Should alcohol be not allowed in stores anymore for whatever reason the bar would most likely sell regular quick Japanese fast food as the main purpose of the store is to sell food while also slightly helping out criminals at the same time.

How many employees do you plan to have?:
I plan to have 16 regular employees, not including me.
7 regular bartenders.
These bartenders will be in charge of selling drinks and food. While there are 7 spots only 2-3 would be allowed to work at one opening.
5 assistant managers
There can be 2 assistant managers at an opening. While they are mostly there to watch over things and most of what they do to not get removed is supervise or host openings they can attend openings as a bartender.
3 Managers
The 3 managers, while also able to work as bartenders, should spend most of their time focusing on either supervising an assistant manager's opening or doing an opening themselves. Their ‘quota’ will come from reviewing forum posts and hosting openings.
1 Co owner
The co owner can host openings and work as a bartender. Although it’s encouraged they watch over things when the owner isn’t around as they can approve manager openings themselves. They can have their own custom uniform as well.

What will be the theme of your store should you be accepted?:
If I get accepted my store would follow the theme of traditional Japanese bars at the top but when you go into the basement for a private meeting the theme will have a sudden switch to looking more Italian due to the shopkeeper coming from Italy.

For space reasons it’s likely most of these would be scaled down to be a bit smaller than they are in the references.

What will the store uniforms look like?:
The store uniforms will have pockets in them for the employees to keep their phones in to secretly record everything going on. And the theme of the uniforms will also follow a traditional Japanese style outfit for the regular employees and an Italian style for managers. While the co owner will be encouraged to wear something either Japanese or Italian as they get their own custom uniform. All of the uniforms made for the employees will be fancy as the bar is meant to be a more fancy bar.

If accepted will you change the name of your shop? If so what would the name be?:

If I get accepted and it’s approved by the shop lead I would like the name of the store to be changed to the name
Chika no Himitsu (地下の秘密) this means underground secrets in Japan because of the store covering many secrets up in the basement. Leading to the name underground secrets. Or could also be seen as underground secrets due to it being relatively out of the way making it more of an underground secret because it’s hard to find.

Would your store host any events?:
The store would host several events each ranging from basic events that could be done every day to events that would likely only be repeated a couple of times.
These first 3 events are easily repeatable events that I would likely do a couple times during my time as a shopkeeper.
Repeatable event 1. Gang meetings. (Often)
The gang meetings are more likely to be planned than not due to me heavily encouraging gangs to have meetings here. These meetings could go either way and will be kept completely secret to the outside world. Following the name. These gang meetings can be paid for by any gang encouraging them to post it in their gang to spread the word to other gangs that the store wants to help gangs in secret while having a completely innocent alibi should the police look into it.
Repeatable Event 2. Promotion events (Every month or so)
To encourage employees to be active every time there are a bunch of promotions planned out there will be an announcement in discord to all employees to come by. Of course not every employee that shows up will be promoted but there will be free alcohol because the store is ages 20 and up only for employees allowing them to drink for free so that even if they don’t get promoted they will leave with a free drink.
Repeatable Event 3. Holiday parties (every few months)
These holiday parties will be an opening where anyone can come by the store even if they aren’t 20. During the holiday parties alcohol will be sold but they would need to show an id. And the private rooms would be turned temporarily into a party area where people can sit and relax. Along with non alcoholic drinks being sold and regular food.

These next few events are more likely to be related to gang events and less store events should a gang want to have an event for unverified or just a regular event the store could be included in these.

Crime Event 1. Store fight.
If paid a bunch of money paying at least 500k depending on the size a gang fight with no sharp weapons could be hosted in the basement of the store during which the store will be closed and the gangs can settle their differences in the basement. Although sharp weapons should be pulled out during it the police will be called.
Crime Event 2. Black market night out.
With approval from the black market lead and shopkeeper lead (If required) a private meeting between BMDs where they need to be completely quiet or to be completely hidden. As a past BMDa Uzuhas restaurant’s private rooms would serve as the perfect place and she would willingly help them out with a private meeting. Allowing for any private meetings to be hosted at her restaurant.

(The rest of these questions are between two people. Uzuha and a real estate agent for the application the real estate agent is in bold and is asking the questions. Uzuha is not in bold and is the one answering the questions.)
A real estate agent leaned back in their chair as they began asking someone opposite to them a question. “What is your name and age?”:
The person opposite the real estate agent took a deep breath choosing her next words carefully. It appeared as if she was thinking heavily about it as she didn’t respond for a minute.
“My name is Uzuha Rossi, I am 24 years old. I’ve heard that is the minimum age to own a shop in Karakura. I turn 25 in about a few months though."

The real estate agent spoke up again. What makes you want to own this building?:
Uzuha took a deep breath steadying herself as she sat in the chair shifting awkwardly at the question. Knowing the real reason as she spoke up giving one of the reasons she wanted to own the store.
“I would like to own this building because I like how out of the way it is. Having been mostly out of things myself and keeping myself distanced from everyone else I believe a store in which is also distanced would fit me personally. Due to it being out of the way I would only ever meet people who look around the town and find themselves interested in businesses and looking at the small parts of Karakura, exactly the kind of people I want ordering from my bar. Another reason for wanting to own the building is to give people a place to talk in private, I mean sure apartments are cool and all. But why do that when you can spend a small amount of money to have complete safety during the meetings. You know how people are around here, I know my customers well and if they wish for protection under a store it’s not my place to tell them no.”

The real estate agent began asking another question. “What is your education like?”:
She relaxed her muscles as she leaned back in the chair before speaking.
“Oh simple, I have my masters in economics. Not that this completely falls under education but I do have the proper visa to own a business here as I moved here from italy and I believe that’s important, along with the proper license to own a bar.” After saying that she slid over all the proper documentation to the real estate agent along with showing the proof of the masters in economics.

The real estate agent waited a minute leaving Uzuha a chance to answer. Following her answer to the previous question their interest peaked and began to believe she was fit for the position they asked. Do you have any experience in a store prior?:
Her body language remained the same. “Yes I have worked in a store here prior to this. I don’t see how exactly these questions are relevant but I did work at Sayonara as a manager for a month or two before eventually getting demoted and eventually quitting the store. I don’t quite like gift stores. I like the bar idea hence wanting to buy this bit of property.

Finally, they moved on to one of the bigger questions. This one stumped Uzuha for a mere minute as she didn’t have a story planned out for this one. What is your story, what led you to this moment asking me to help you buy this land?:
Following that question her body language shifted again to a bit more reserved before eventually relaxing again, sighing knowing she had to answer it. The real estate agent knew what they were doing after all.
“Let me break my life into a couple sections. There is a lot to talk about.”
Section 1. My life in Italy
“I will start from my youngest years and work my way up from there. Sounds good? Okay you aren’t responding I suppose that’s a yes. I was in Italy until I was 18. My mom was Japanese and my dad was Italian. Do what you will with that information. It won't really come up much any more anyway as I strongly dislike my parents even to this day my dad can rot for all I care. He is dead to everyone and dead to me. Even if my siblings seem to miss him. Idiots. Anyway, while I was growing up I didn’t have parents stopping me from being a terrible child so.. Well I was a horrible child. I got constantly involved in fights in my school and most people hated me there. However, I was a good fighter so they had no choice but to respect me. I had two friends that went with me everywhere. A friend who abandoned me and the other is dead and I still miss her to this day. I failed her. Anyway, we went exploring one night. Just me and her. Sure I had feelings for her, I was a bad kid sure but that doesn’t mean I couldn’t have feelings. I intended to ask her on a date that night in the woods. We eventually found a cabin I believed was.. The right place to ask. But we found a trapdoor and she insisted on inspecting it, and me being the idiot I was I agreed and we both went down together. It was dark and creepy. She was always the more brave one even if it was brave to the point of being stupid. Anyway, we went down and eventually came across a man, me being the person I was at that time I decided to antagonize him by asking why he was down there. I mean shit we walked into an empty cabin and were asking the guy why he was down there? It was clearly his cabin.” A small sigh as a tear went down her face. “Right, he pulled an ax out and began to chase us. I was faster than her. While we were running I told her I loved her.” She wiped away several more tears. “It distracted her. She said I love you too before she eventually stopped in her tracks from the shock and well.. To survive when someone is after you is to just simply run faster than someone else. And with her stopping it was only a matter of time before he caught up to her and.. Well maybe she is still alive. I didn't hear a scream but it’s unlikely. I was 18 at that point as I left the town I lived in with the money I saved from taking it from other kids. I was a horrible kid. I deserved everything. And yet I continued to spiral more and more. Anyway, onto the next section. Give me a minute will you? I need to take a moment.”

Section 2. The reason I moved to Japan.
After a long pause she spoke up again.
“Right. I moved to Japan at 18. Following her death. I did this because I believed I wasn’t good enough for italy. I failed everyone there and messed everything up.” She looked up at the real estate agent with tears in her eyes as she shared a way too personal story for this real estate agent. “The worst part? It only made me worse as a person. I guess you could describe this as a climax to the horror story that is my life. Although I intend to use this store as a chance to reach the point in the story that everything comes together. I suppose story writers would call it the conclusion. Sorry, I’m getting off topic again. I spoke.. With a guy. Or at least I think he was a guy. Hell, they could have been a girl and it’s not like I would have known. I met them in the sewers, they had a mask on. And me being a stupid.. Dumb.. child that I was. I agreed to work under this person. I can’t go into specifics here but just know it was a terrible choice. I agreed to get information for this man. Help him with anything relating to people getting in his way. Although, he never did stick around long enough for me to help him with that. Eventually during this job I began to work at a store part time to afford living. It paid well and eventually I got up to the manager position. After a few months of assisting not so good people I decided getting the position as manager would be the perfect chance to escape the horrid life I got involved in. This is a lead into the third section.

Section 3. Council and business.
Alright, the slow resolution to this story. Although there was a small hurdle in the next section. Anyway, I was nearing 19 at this point and saw a perfect opportunity to prove that I could be a good person. To whoever the hell I was trying to prove things to at this point. I got the manager position and also got accepted into the student council in the highschool here. Although, business out of town that I can’t go into here got in the way eventually leading me to quit both. This led me on another downward spiral as I failed to prove myself. Everything was going to shit, I lost the job, I lost the position as council. And was living on borrowed money. So I turned back to the only thing I knew how to do. Assist people with getting information for money. I applied to help out with a certain thing I didn’t get into that I absolutely can’t talk about for your sake and mine. Let me get into the final section of how I got here today.

Section 4. What led me here today.
Well this is the conclusion to the early years of my life. I was barely surviving in Japan. So I left Karakura as the prices were good but I could never get a proper education there. I dropped out of college there and applied for a new college in Tokyo Japan. As I did research on how to own a bar knowing what I wanted to do to prove myself. To prove I could do something, I didn’t have to be the messed up person I forced myself into being. I got the permit and visa to own the store while I went to college and worked a basic job. The small hurdle was figuring out how to get a permit to sell alcohol in a bar. You would be surprised at how difficult it is.. Or well you probably wouldn’t as you are a real estate agent. Anyway, It took me a couple years of trying from the age of 20 to 24. Spending several years working on this goal. Eventually turning 24 and getting my masters in Economics and the permit and the visa, and finally took a plane back here and got in contact with you here. And that’s why I wish to own a store. And the story of my life.

Following the biggest question they moved on to the last one. Speaking. Alright final question, all of your previous answers seem good but this is a deal breaker here. I can still get you the store if you answer with the less appealing answer, but the chances will decrease slightly. Do you have a criminal record as of speaking to me?:
Uzuha shook her head.
“No, I do not have any sort of criminal record. Completely clean record.”

With all of the questions over with and Uzuha looking calm as ever. And began to get out of her seat. The real estate agent spoke for the final time. One more question. It may not matter to the person you are buying the building from but. Describe yourself. This includes the languages you speak, What makes you unique from other people buying their store, and the rest will be written out by me. Who are you?:
She sat back down in the chair as she began to speak.
“Alright, Sure I can describe myself. “

Section 1. “What I look like.”
“I look pretty good, at least I think I do but I suppose I’m biased a bit. I’m exactly 6’03 or to be less exact 6’0. I have purple hair because why not. I like dark purple. It's one of my favorite colors and I have no parents around to stop me anymore. My eyes are also purple of course they aren’t naturally purple but I do have colored contacts in to change the color of them. Yes it’s very annoying but I look good as hell so why not. People say I have a very nice smile although I wouldn’t know as I only tend to put on a fake smile.

Section 2. “Languages I know.”
“There are 4 languages I currently know. The first one being Japanese is pretty obvious considering we have been speaking it this entire time. The second is Japanese Sign language, I learned this one pretty early on before moving here as well. The third one is Italian. Given it being my native language and having been born in Italy I know it pretty well. The final language I know is Spanish, I’m not fluent in it in any way but I can understand most things said by people speaking Spanish.”

Section 3. “What makes me unique.”
I guess my mix of Italian and Japanese, while most people tend to be both, there isn’t much that makes me unique. Although I can usually read situations pretty well and disappear into the background of moments and end up being forgotten about making it easy to get away from things. People don’t usually tend to think much of a random Japanese girl leaving the area. Although now that I’m 24 I’m not sure how well I could get away with doing that, my stressful moments are behind me now.

These last two sections are attached in notes by the real estate agent.
Section 4. What Uzuha acts like
I would probably have to say she acts very full of herself. Maybe that’s not the perfect wording but she believes she isn’t noticeable when in reality I would say she stands out quite a bit with her depressing personality and her constant speaking. You would think someone with an almost entirely purple design would be friendly or at the very least not depressing to talk to but I had to hold back from being a the****** myself for Uzuha and I’m not even qualified. I mean shit her life is rough.

Section 5. The way she speaks.
Uzuha speaks like she is carefully planning out each word I suppose. I mean she seems to think nobody notices it but it’s pretty obvious the way she looks off to the side keeping her mouth shut for a moment before speaking. She has a nice voice I guess but why would that matter in getting a store. That is everything of note about Uzuha, I do really believe she has good intentions despite her grim personality and the slight hidden intentions making me believe not everything about this shop will be used for good.
