Describe your activity on the server:
Candidly, my activity fluctuates weekly. One week, I might log on everyday for upwards of 5 hours, and manage to keep active, however, other weeks, I may work more shifts, be swamped with assignments and genuinely not have the time for it everyday. Don't be alarmed! I've managed to uphold the workflow of quotas in many factions, as listed below. Afterall, if I were not capable of being active in the EMS faction, I would not be applying.

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
JockRP → football team & basketball team captain
Arguably the heart of SchoolRP, sport teams! I've had my fair share of JockRP, from the rivalry alone, but the exciting drama driven from bratty highschoolers and spartans is a fresh experience. Sports teams are definitely one of the more engaging factions or groups on the server. This is what specifically helped me come out of my shell, in fact, the basketball team was one of my first true roleplaying experiences on the server. After a while of serving the team, I was awarded captaincy and it was a blast. Running your own team, hosting practices and understanding the work behind the scenes was definitely a full circle moment for the newbie at heart who joined the server a few years back. Fast forwarding to about a year ago, I tried out for the highschool football team, my time there was short lived as it went through a somewhat dry phase. Although, that didn't stop the team from having the time of our lives when we could, with each scenario we found ourselves in, the JockRP was an unbeatable experience. Core memories stemmed from joint practices with the cheer team.
DetailRP → surgeon, professor, lawyer & teacher
How do I even encapsulate my experience with detailRP? The roles I held in this area were some of the most interesting learning experiences ever. From learning how to perform amputations, to arguing in a court room, to even teaching the ins and outs of humans behaviors as a professor. It's been a journey. The two roles that stood out to me were surgeon, and lawyer. Let's rewind back to the hospital pre-renovation, when surgeons were cutting open people, and the pharmacy was always crawling with people. This to me was the standout of my time on SRP, the effort that goes into the EMS faction, the roleplay, and the dynamics of it genuinely changed the way I play the server. My character, a tad underdeveloped but that is why I am back! To reprise my role in this faction, and put in 100x more effort than I did last time around. Now, to the other side of the spectrum, the town faction. I spent my time as a lawyer, studying up, writing away to defend people. Chad Dech, gone and probably forgotten. It's been a while. Known for his bald head, he stormed through the town faction and gave me such a new roleplay opportunity, one that I never had before. Majority of time was spent behind a desk, however, it was a blast.
Community → shopkeeper & clubs
Community roles were definitely something. Being harassed to open my shop every half an hour was definitely motivating to get up and actually perform my job. The opportunity I had in this faction was so free and definitely a blast. Running around my employees like they're interns who've forgotten my coffee, handling chaotic customers and wannabe thiefts was definitely an eye-opening roleplay experience. Definitely unforgettable. I was tasked with figuring out the shop dashboard, we managed! It was a whirlwind of emotions, but we came out the other end. Alongside that, I was in a few clubs early into my time on the server, specifically the one lots of us have fell victim to, journalist club. The fancy tag, the awesome job! Who wouldn't want to write reports? Unfortunately, the only downside is the material ran out quick, with maybe 16 other players also writing reports, it was hard to come up with something unique.
What is your motivation for applying?
While this is extremely common, I genuinely miss the faction. While theres majority of fresh faces, the nostalgia and feeling of being apart of such a community is unbeatable. My time as a surgeon was short-lived and not what I wanted to do with the character whatsoever. This time around, I am applying with a character who has been developed, a college kid, studying medicine, in specific cardiology. Marlon Burke is a familiar face, and I've tweaked and aligned him with who I want to play. I want a restart, fresh hospital set, fresh character, but the same determination to be the best. I miss feeling the adrenaline when I had to dig to the bottom of my thoughts to remember correct procedures, and the right actions to use properly. It was a blast and unfortunately I took it for granted and the time flew by way too fast!
With the not so new, renovated hospital, came with a bunch of new features as well as models that I want to experience first-hand! The faction seems as though it's changed drastically, and I want to apart of it.
Not only that, but the EMS faction aligns with my future career - while I am not studying to be a cardiothoracic surgeon. I have an interest in the medical field and it is definitely something I want to take seriously.
Which role are you applying for?
Doctor
What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
Across three main departments, emergency, psychiatry and doctors, Karakura Hospital is your primary go-to source of medical attention. Each employee here specially trained, from patching up a laceration, to prescribing you medication. Whatever you can think of, Karakura Hospital tends to it.
Hierarchical Structure
· Hospital Director
The head of the entire hospital. Overseeing everyone, like a silent hawk. The director directs the hospital, and trusts the department leads to run each department. Responsible for the entire faction.
· Department Leads → Chief Paramedic, Doctor Clinical Lead, Psychiatry Clinical Lead
Each lead, overseeing their respective department plays a vital role in the hospitals food-chain, while they don't direct the hospital, they're responsible for what happens in their department. They oversee issues in their own department, and work for the Director to ensure everything is running smoothly throughout the hospital.
· Clinical Supervisors
Clinical Supervisors are almost stand-in's, they fulfill the role of the Clinical Leads or Chief Paramedic when they're out. It's in the name as well, supervisor. Supervising across the department as somewhat of the Co-Lead. These Doctors have typically garnered the skill and mastered what it takes to become an extraordinary doctor.
· Attending Physicians
The mark that you've officially made it. Now that you're an attending, you're training-free, and ready to tackle whatever is thrown your way! Whether you're dealing with emergency trauma's, or tending to wounds. You've made it.
· Residents
After completion and successfully passing their exam, they now have a smaller sense of independence. Hooray! While they're not yet able to freely perform anything they'd like, they've moved themselves up the food chain.
· Trainees
Bottom of the faction food chain, the grunts. These trainees are almost like premies. The first two weeks of their time here at Karakura. Studying, note-taking, and attending trainings. They work until they drop dead. Often supervised by higher-ups, their every move leads up to their resident exam.
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?
I acknowledge I am to be held accountable and recieve punishment if I do not comply with faction rules, including the one above.

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
Cardiology
Chosen because of his difficulty. Burke is not a show-off, but rather a guy who loves to challenge himself. He's in this field because it's exact and demanding, the one that doesn't let you guess, but you have to know. It's a puzzle piece that he's trying to figure out, except any mistake might cost him a life. The adrenaline. He runs off it.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
Aside from his postgraduate clinical intership, Burke has no previous work experience in the medical field.
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?
Fitted with wavy auburn hair, a stubbled jaw and a suprisingly fit build, Marlon Burke carries himself with a rather unique posture. Upright and tense. He feels controlled, as if he pre-plans his movements. Maybe he does? His steps are precise, far from clumsy. His jaw feels calm, the way it's naturally clenched, his facial is locked in one expression constantly, the natural one. How does one not react to anything? At least he is consistent! Burkes presence feels easy, rather than taking up space in a room, he holds it.
Burke has a sort of charm to him. An awkward charm if you will, not because he tries but primarily because he doesn't try. His essence feels like he was plucked straight out of 'The Office', from the way his broad shoulders rest, rigid and awkward, to how his eyes feel blank. He's cold. The sort of guy who you wonder what the hell he does in his free time. Marlon is logical, not fluent in connection. His dialogue was minimalistic, as if he spoke with no emotion - monotone. A sort of guy who has forgotten how to live his life casually. Most of the time, he's found nose deep in a book, he's more of a rule enforcer, rather than someone who breaks them. While maintaining a proper bedside manner, calm and professional, he detains emotional connection from any patients.
Marlon Burke is consistent and easy. It's refreshing to play a character like this. But how he is percieved is far from easy. Burke's jarring honesty makes him feel physically distant, no sugarcoating. It feels as though he is upset at you, however, it's quite the opposite. Coming across as a robot, or as intense - he's percieved as hard to read, not necessarily rude. Hyper-competent, assured with himself, and reliable.
How does your character act around the hospital?
Burke act's with precision, like everything has a purpose. All his movements, his words. He doesn't linger, much rather always on task. He walks like he's got a GPS tracker attached to him, shortcuts bother him. The way he acts with patients is detached. Not that he doesn't care, just that is polite, and professional but is unaware that he isn't showing any empathy. Burke is in the medical field for the science. While he isn't too big on social interactions, he isn't a loner. It's just that he won't contribute to them. Presence is enough for the guy. Often found in the background, listening in, but not contributing. He shines when he's properly working.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Marlon Burke works more efficiently alone, however, it doesn't necessarily mean he thrives that way. When he's alone, it's like he has tunnel vision, he get's into a rhythm, moving at his own pace, getting things done. Working alone feels more comfortable for a guy like Burke, no unnecessary small talk, idle chatter, awkward eye-contact or empathy. Just him, alone with his tasks and work. Although, working with others doesn't shut him down, rather a roadblock he learns to adapt to. He feels awkward, in a graceful way. Like he wants to take control, but has an understanding of when he needs to step back and become co-dependant. The guy is aware, and knows how to not be in the way.
· Please consider and be mindful applications get reviewed early morning for me, so if I am a little late to the party I apologise in advance.
