I took a small break from SRP for three weeks just to recover myself as I was going through some bad days. Many things happened that made me sad but now it’s all back to normal and now my activity is almost the same it was.

What experiences do you have with Detail RP?
:
During the last year playing roleplay, I feel my DetailRP has certainly become better than when I first joined SRP. I’ve been playing my swim team character which has actually made me improve my DetailRP due to this being required to perform different actions that might need further detail in order to make it look more realistic. Nonetheless, even if I feel it’s become much better, I’d still use some more improvements to make it be even better than it is right now.

What is your motivation to apply for EMS and how will you benefit our current team?:
My main motivation for this role is my very own passion for the EMS work; all they do is save lives to the extent of risking their own for others' sake. In general, EMS workers do a lot for the population to be healthy and keep them that way, it can be seen with the current COVID-19 pandemic; how doctors are not getting the acknowledgement they deserve. Talking about the server, the EMS workers are good at their job, and that has given me motivation to try myself for this role. I’m really passionate about Medical matters, currently aspiring to become a doctor IRL and I think that’s how I could be useful to SRP’s EMS team: I love what I do. I love my job and I really do enjoy learning much more and actually put that knowledge to practice.

Specify your knowledge for the role you’re applying for:
Nurses are supposed to promote health care, being one of the most important roles within a hospital as they are to assist in many activities, being the next ones. A nurse:
1. Records medical history and symptoms
2. Keeps patients under observationSupervises (patients’) diets and Physical Activities
3. Administers medicines
3. Examines Vital Signs (pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, etc.)
4. Takes samples for laboratory ****ysis
5. Assists surgeons in surgeries
6. Assists in patients’ resuscitation

Categorize all the functions of the EMS and tell us what each of them does:

Hospital Director/Clinical Lead:

1 - They represent the hospital; highest authority and administrator.
2 - Human resources, physics and financial sorting by programming, direction, control and evaluation of it’s functioning according to their division and the services that are given.
3 - The CL (Clinical Lead) will supervise a certain team of nurses/residents/healthcare assistants in a hospital.
4 - They will lead the team and are supposed to be responsible individuals to ensure the excellent service keeps that way.

Doctors:
1 - Diagnose and treat illnesses, lesions and many other health diseases after making the respective medical check and physical evaluation.
2- Prescribe and administer the most appropriate treatments according to the diagnosis.
3 - Guide and advise their patients.
4- Keep in track the medical status of their patient.

Surgeons:
1 - Operate patients to repair any deformity, heal lesions, prevent and treat illnesses, restore a certain organ/limb’s functioning. Prescribe treatments and procedures.

Psychiatrists:
1 - They are to attend and treat individuals with major mental health problems and prescribe medication for these mental affections according to the final diagnosis.

Are you aware of the basic medical emergency color codes? If so, with their meanings, specify all those you’re aware of:
Red - “Fire”;

Indicates the presence of fire and it needs to be dealt with.
Blue - A patient has suffered a heart attack/their respiration has failed
It indicates a patient is currently suffering a heart attack or their respiration has stopped. This is a high priority emergency and there must be at least 6 health specialists helping to revive the affected patient, it usually is activated due to the next:
1- Heart attack or dangerous arrhythmia.
2- Lungs collapse
It is needed to say the involved specialists must be trained in BLS/ACLS (Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Black - “Bomb”
This code is enabled when a bomb has been found within the hospital installations/a bomb threat has been issued by external/internal individuals. If the bomb was found, it is needed to let the hospital director know, so the hospital can take actions to prevent the bomb from exploding.

Brown- “Hazardous waste spillage”
- It is enabled when a dangerous waste has been spilled somewhere within the hospital.

There are plenty of codes that are used for different situations depending of the country, these would be the next ones:

Yellow - “Intern Emergency/Lost person”

Green - “Natural disaster”

Pink - “Pediatric Emergency/child kidnapping within hospital grounds”

Purple - “Hostages Issue/Power Shutdown somewhere in the hospital”

White - “Obstetrics Issue, agressions, neonatal emergency”

Grey - “Combative individual”;
If an individual is behaving violently and is threatening the hospital staff, this code must be enabled. However if it’s about an armed person, hospital staff must refer to the next code;

Silver - “Armed Individual”
This code is enabled only if the grey code has been enabled AND the person is armed.

I am and will do my best for that event not to happen. I have fully taken accountancy over the mistakes I did and I want to try from scratch, I will do anything in my reach to be actually helpful and actually better.

CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE

Tell us about your character; how do they look, what makes them unique?:

Akiko is a 40 y/o woman, standing at the height of 5’1”, a nice, long and well taken-care-of double colored hair, seemingly with a few grey hair threads. Akiko is a serious, dedicated and cheerful woman, someone you may reach out to for life advice or just in general, have a chat with her. Akiko always looks to improve herself in a personal and professional matter. Now that she’s a single mother, the Chinese woman keeps looking over her little girl Iroha Hanazono, this making her advise teenagers not to leave their studies and become better persons. In general, Akiko is someone you can rely on and trust she’ll do anything in her reach to try and help her equals in both personal and professional affairs.

What are they like on and off the job?:

While on duty, Akiko is a serious individual; there is no time to play around when an emergency pops out. She is a hard worker and she practices her profession with full professionality and commitment, looking for new procedures to always give out the best service without having to break her hippocratic oath. Towards her patients, Akiko keeps a certain politeness and respect while being kind and professionally orienting her patients. While not in the hospital, she is a kind person, trying to involve herself in the top trends to keep a conversation with younger individuals, always keeping her cheerfulness.

Outlook on their co-workers? Plans for the future?:

She thinks of her co-workers as a work family of sorts. She would treat them in a special way, always showing concern for them; wishing them the best of luck for the current shift. Akiko intends to treat Karakura’s patients with a top tier service, while she is aware it won’t be an easy task since she’s practically a just graduated nurse.. Professionally, Akiko is looking to become one with the hospital team and work with them to give Karakura citizens a better service.

BACKSTORY

It’s been at least two weeks since she got fired from her job at KHS, this had caused her not to have another source of income. She simply decided to go out of Karakura, making her way to China; Akiko would’ve returned to the hotel she worked at. After trying to convince the new Manager and being declined in the most humiliating way, the Chinese woman left that hotel, the one she spent almost her whole life at. Disappointed, Akiko returned to Karakura, trying to get another job in this city. After a long search, a young College girl quit her job at a restaurant, the owner of this restaurant would’ve given her a chance to work. The restaurant? Well, it’s known among Karakura as “La Casa Nostra”. Her story in LCN would begin almost immediately where she attended her first shift as waitress, however while she already knew how to do her job at a restaurant, she faced a big problem… technology. It took a good month for Akiko getting used to work with a web panel instead of handwritten commands. A few months were enough for Akiko being promoted to Senior Employee. A year had gone by, she seemingly still enjoyed her job and all, and however… the level of crime in Karakura had arisen, seeing people getting assaulted in public places at any time! She then tried to become a Governor with no experience in Politics, however it was nothing but a failed attempt. At this point Akiko had begun her career in Medicine already, in which she had gone through the first three years in Nursing. At this point, Akiko had become 35, about to start her internship in another hospital somewhere else in Japan. She obviously kept looking after her S.E position in La Casa Nostra, she even trained two trial employees; being Chris Ammons the one she’s proud the most.
Akiko faced several issues while in her internship: she clearly had to perform her duties as a trainee nurse, she had a daughter to look over, deal with patients, her job at La Casa Nostra, it was just too much for her to handle, however she kept living like that for the next years until she eventually became a fully certified nurse.
