As active as I am, I have quite a bit of freetime on my hands. Thus allowing me to be online from 3-12 hours per day. Most of the time I am either getting attributes, roleplaying with others, or finding ways to make yen. Whether it be fishing, selling things, etc.

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:

A school librarian is responsible for keeping track of books coming and going from the library. Librarians give students library cards before they check out a book, so they know who has the book at all times, and to keep things organized on their end. They also have to make sure books are returned on time. They are most often found in their office in the library. They also are tasked with guiding students to the section of the library for the book they are looking for. Other responsibilities they have are making sure books are in order in the library, keeping things tidy, as well as making sure students are not acting inappropriately and misbehaving. Librarians can hand out detentions, and in some situations, get SLT involved with a student if they act out bad enough.

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I’ve been roleplaying on creative servers for years, and eventually I was recommended to SRP by a friend. I only joined it recently, but within the timespan of joining I have learned a whole lot. Said friend has helped a lot!

Situations

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:

Kudo would be taken aback, stopping the student. They would then tell the student off, saying that swearing it against school rules. After getting that through to the student, they would talk to the student rationally, getting down to the root of their thoughts. After the conversation, Kudo would send the student to class, after explaining their side of the story.

You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Once Kudo noticed the kids fighting, they would not think twice before running over and breaking up the fight. After separating the kids, they would check them for bruises. Seeing that both of them got hurt, they would hand them both detentions, then radio to see if there were any nurses available before taking the students to the nurses office.

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Kudo is not confrontational, so they would most likely try to bring it up in a nice way, trying to break it to their co-worker that what they are doing is wrong and that they should stop. Afterwards, Kudo would leave them alone, but would not forget the encounter. If at any other point, they were to catch the same co-worker doing something dangerous or inappropriate, they would contact SLT and tell them all about what they witnessed, and tell them the warnings that they gave the co-worker.

When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
In the employee break room, Kudo would be off in their own world, nose deep into a book while sipping their cup of coffee. However, if they were spoken to by any one of their co-workers, they would drop whatever they were doing and greet them with a smile, then begin interacting with the people in the room. After their conversation, Kudo would excuse himself, telling everyone to have a wonderful day and heading to the library to continue their.

/me
would walk through the library, looking through the shelves, books in their hands. A slight hum would escape their lips as they put the books back into their places, making sure they were all sorted alphabetically. Moving from one shelf to the next until all of the books were away. They would then head back to their office, waiting for any students to arrive.

/me would see a student walk over with 3 books in hand. “Good morning! May I see your library card?” The student would then admit they did not have a library card. “Oh! That's not a problem! Let me get you one!” They would ask a few questions and got the student a library card, then let them check out the books, telling them when to return the books. They would then send the student off, making sure to log the books that went out.

/me would be patrolling the hallways, and stumbled upon a student who was unconscious. They would quickly rush over to their side and check to make sure they were okay. After seeing they were just unconscious, and had an abundance of bruises, they would take the student to the nurses office. They would stick with the nurse to ask the student questions about what happened, so the nurse did not have to stay with the one student and could help the others.

Backstory
Kudo Yuko was born Saturday, March 29th in the year of 1997. They were an only child, raised by their mother Eleana and their father Nshimiye, who went by Shi. The family was very put together. Eleana and Shi were very proper, and they wanted to raise Kudo Yuko to be just as proper and elegant as they were. Which is what they did, as their child got older.

Once they were old enough, their parents placed them into a private school. It was very extra, although they were too young to care. As the first year of private school passed, Kudo Yuko had appeared to take a liking to books. From the little bit that they learned. It worked out well for them, as Nshimiye had worked as a part-time librarian. Meaning he was able to bring home Kudo Yuko books whenever. As another two years passed they had grown a passion for reading and writing. Being absolutely in love with books, wanting their parents to read to them whenever they could. Reading as much as they could in their freetime and or whenever they were alone, which tended to be often. .

When Kudo Yuko was a bit older, they decided to interact with the Librarian of their school. Asking if they’d be okay if Kudo Yuko came there during lunch and assisted them with books and sorting things. Which, upon the Librarian agreeing, they did exactly that. They spent the majority of their lunches throughout the years in the library. Assisting the Librarian checking in books, putting books on the shelves, fixing any messy shelves, etc. They highly enjoyed it, as it was quiet up there. Not many kids were disturbances, as they stayed quiet getting books and reading.

As they reached the age of 14, their parents decided to send them away to a different school. They didn’t necessarily want to, as they were comfortable and happy with the school they went to now. After a bit of bickering back and forth between Kudo Yuko and their parents they finally gave in. Agreeing to move away. They were sent to the city of Karakura, where they would be attending the highschool. Studying anything and everything they could. Over the years Kudo Yuko could be seen in the library during school hours, either reading via book or on their phone. They loved it there. It was nice and quiet, not too many students hung out there, and obviously, it was full of books.

Kudo Yuko would then move away to Kyoto for college, where they would pursue a degree in Education and Literature. They volunteered to help with their college's library, just so he could be closer to the books and learn about which books were there, while also being able to help the librarians. When they got to their fourth year, they took up an internship opportunity to work alongside an elementary teacher and absolutely loved it. They would then continue to intern in schools until their sixth year. The next two years, they assisted with highschool classes.

In the year of 2021 Kudo Yuko graduated from College. They decided to take a few months of break before searching for jobs. As they were in desperate need of something to do. Looking through all of the options, none of them seemed to fit the individual. Until they came across the option of becoming a Librarian.


Motivation for Joining KHS:
My motivation for joining the KHS team is to help students strive and become their very best. Working in schools for a few years before, I know how most students behave, and can empathize with them, having been a student myself. I know in this position, I can help the students get their proper education, and also help guide them down the right path. At their age, they can easily go down the wrong path and do things they will regret when they are older. I will also be able to do what I love, being surrounded by books and helping students who share that same love of literature, and hopefully inspire more students to read. I will be a person that the students can look up to, and I see myself working in this position for the long term.

From my fourth year to my sixth year of University, I interned as a teacher’s assistant in multiple schools in multiple different positions. My fourth year, I was a teacher’s assistant in an elementary class, where I helped the teacher, Ms. Higashira’s grade-6 class. In my fifth year, I interned at a highschool, where I helped another teacher’s grade-11 class. During my sixth year of University, I interned at that same highschool, but this time for a grade-12 class. And during those years, I worked at my University’s library, where I helped the librarians check books in and out, as well as putting the books back into place when they were returned.

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?

I should be accepted over other applicants because of my wide array of skills. Firstly, I can work well with almost everyone, no matter who they are, without a hassle. This stems from my communication, where I can easily communicate with others if I ever need help. Another skill is that I can quickly adapt to new situations, which can help in a school environment, where students can go from being calm to fighting in a matter of seconds. I can keep my cool in such situations and calm things down. Another skill I possess is my patience, which is another really useful skill for this position. I know for sure that these skills will benefit the rest of the Faculty, and I will for sure put all of my effort into my position. I am dedicated to whatever I put my mind to, this included.
