As of recent I’ve been pretty active on SRP and have spent most of my time attending classes, messing around with the sports plugins, and getting involved in everyone else’s business. Ive also gotten into tailoring again and have been making new outfits for me and my friends, as well as reshading some of my older characters. Since Ive graduated college i’ve had much more time to dedicate toward the server in hopes that I can come back and dedicate my time to the faction, and grow further in the community. I’m most active around 11pm-4am.

What experiences do you have with roleplay?
I’ve been roleplaying for quite a long time (Four years!!! Not consecutively though.) so have experience with both casual and serious roleplay, with this i’ve also held several different roles in different factions throughout my time on the server. I love creating detailed characters with unique personalities and flaws rather than making them perfect, which ties into the psychiatry aspect. Character development is one of my favorite parts of roleplay.
What is your motivation for applying?
I’ve always been drawn to roleplay that focuses on character growth, which is what initially interested me in the Psychiatrist role, beside the fact that I work in healthcare now! I think mental health roleplay can add a lot of depth to characters, and I think listening to patients explain their life choices sounds like it would never be boring. I also want to see what all has changed within the hospital faction, and grow with them for this time! Having this position would not only help me develop Easton, but it would further help others, if I could choose any faction to return to it would be this one. I consider myself very detail oriented and organized, I believe I would be a good fit for this position.

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
The Hospital Faction is responsible for providing both physical and mental healthcare through roleplay. Doctors focus on diagnosing and treating injuries, illnesses, and emergencies.
Psychiatrists specialize in mental health evaluations, therapy sessions, and helping patients work through psychological concerns. Both roles require professionalism, good communication skills, and the ability to create immersive roleplay experiences.
Paramedics are a little different, they are sort of like moving doctors with different responsibilities! However for this role you must hold another position until you pass your resident examination, then you may be considered for this position if requested.
Then, the Director is the individual who is head of all departments, even though each department has their own head. The director is the big boss, they insure the faction is running smoothly and everyone is doing their job correctly.

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
Easton Beckham has an MD degree and a sub degree in forensic psychiatry. He chose this field because it ‘felt like a mystery’, trying to understand the way that others minds worked. Easton tries to live up to his professor in college, who claimed Easton as his prodigy, which only furthered his drive to succeed.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
After college, Beckham spent four years as a resident at a major hospital, as well as working part time as an IFT EMT during his residency. He worked closely with police officers and lawyers during this time.
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?
Easton is a 5’9” man with warm tan skin, messy caramely brown and blonde hair that never seems to stay where he puts it, and hazel eyes that always look like they’re trying to solve a puzzle nobody else can see. Easton occasionally wears a pair of reading glasses, though he’s constantly pushing them back up after they slide down. Accompanying the glasses are freckles littered along his cheeks.
What makes him stand out isn’t just his intelligence, it’s the way he notices little things other people miss. A change in someone’s mood, a nervous habit, a forced smile.. Easton tends to pick up on small details without even realizing he’s doing it.
To most people, he comes across as kind and surprisingly easy to talk to. His professor claims he’s a genius, while others just think he’s the nice doctor who accidentally walks into the wrong room because he was busy thinking about something else.
How does your character act around the hospital?
If you happen to see Easton wandering the hospital halls, he is calm, patient and professional. He takes his work seriously and always tries to make other people feel comfortable, whether he’s speaking with patients or his own coworkers. He has a habit of listening more than he talks, often letting people tell their whole story before he buts in with a comment. Easton has always been the first person people go to when they just need someone to listen.
Many of his previous staff members know him as the doctor who somehow looks exhausted and wide awake at the same time.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Easton is absolutely capable of working on his own and often enjoys having quiet time to think through problems.
However, Easton will function at his best when working with his coworkers on something much bigger, he believes time is valuable because you can never ask for that back. He loves hearing stories from coworkers and listening to what anyone has to say, giving small smiles and waves at the end of a conversation.
