Describe your activity on the server:
After taking a break from SRP to focus on school, I returned in August earlier this year. Since then, my activity has been similar to the time I used to play back in 2020-2022. Prior to now, I have been heavily engaged in both the school and EMS faction. I have been captain of a team twice, and have also been a psychiatrist; these roles allowed me to learn more about detailrp and how to easily engage with other players, meeting them wherever they may be. These days I spend my time developing my character, writing lore, and coming up with good plotlines for my friends' enjoyment. I’m looking for another outlet to meet new people and diversify my roleplay with my increased activity.

TRIVIA QUESTIONS
What is the student council and what do they do?:
Student council maintains order over the school and its respective students. Their purpose is to act as guard rails, keeping students in line so that their futures remain intact. The council’s duties vary from monitoring students around campus, to de-escalating situations that may be dire. You can normally find them stepping into the shoes of faculty and patrolling the school, ensuring a safe environment.
What motivated you to apply for council? (e.g. Interests, friends, etc.):
Having been involved in the sports faction for so long, I am looking for a change where I can still open myself up to new roleplay experiences outside of jockrp. Unsure of which route to pick, one of my friends suggested that council would be a perfect fit for both myself and my character. The various new opportunities for roleplay that the council offers excite me. Lastly, I have planned many events during my time as both captain, and on the build team; it was something I thoroughly enjoyed and it excites me that I will have more opportunities to do so on council.
Are you aware that you’ll be having to use your creativity and teamwork ethic within the student council? (e.g. Coming up and helping with events):
I absolutely understand the importance of creativity and teamwork on the student council. Having been a player on the server since December of 2020, I have taken part in many school events. With that said, I’ve learned a lot about what players feel are lacking, especially the sports faction. During my time as captain I planned many events for both my team and the frat/sorority - This, in combination with my experience on the build team has helped me learn the ins and outs of teamwork in relation to events.
Can you list the roles in the council along with other roles that might be important to the council?:
President: The role of the president for both high school and college is very important. They oversee the rest of their respective council, maintaining order in a polite and respectable manner. Presidents are eye-catchers who maintain the balance, even over those in the council who share that job with the normal students.
Vice-President: The vice-presidents are similar to that of a co-captain. They offer support to the president in their pursuits of leadership. In times of need they may need to step into a higher position in order to handle situations in the absence of the president.
Councilor: Under both the president and vice-president, these members make up the rest of the student council. Their job is creating a safe environment for students while keeping an eye out for rule breaking and unacceptable behaviour.

SCENARIOS
While students gather for a school assembly, one student behaves disruptively, /causing a disturbance. How would you manage the situation to restore order effectively while minimizing any additional disruptions to the assembly?
“Assemblies are always such a chaotic time. . There is sure to be disruptions that take away from what the students are meant to be focused on! If someone is being disruptive, I would politely ask them to stop. Buut ya’ know.. if they continue, I would flash my charming and irresistible smile-” *ching* “-at them, and ask them to step aside. Once they are away from any other possible shena****nizers, I will tell them to stop, with a warning. If they don’t listen. . detention!! Obvi.”
A student refuses to take their mask off after you’ve brought up detention and they’ve run away! What do you do?
“God, I do love a man in a mask. . .” *crickets* “Oh! Right, um- I would definitely make sure that faculty and my other council members know to keep an eye out for a masked student. Chasing them sounds.. exhausting- my skin is too clear to be sweating that much over a mystery, masked student. This isn’t The Masked Singer after all, no need to do everything in my power to get to the bottom of it. Karma will come their way for sure!”
A teacher observes concerning behavior from a student, including the creation of disturbing artwork and verbal threats toward peers. How would you collaborate with the teacher to evaluate the situation and intervene appropriately to address potential safety concerns?
“Disturbing artwork. . verbal threats? Must be a spartan!” *side-eye* “Regardless, I would find bestie, teach- I mean.. I would find the teacher and ask them, first, what they need from me. I’m sure that they would have a general idea but sometimes teachers reach capacity with other students. If they’re unsure of their needs, I would simply remind the student that they are on thiiiin ice, and to choose their next words carefully considering they are talking to an adult.. scary. If that does not work, I’ll simply give them detention myself. There is no time for people who are. . lacking in the IQ department. . that was mean. . my apologies.”
A group of students asks for your permission to stage a protest on school grounds. Would you allow them to protest? If so, how do you ensure that the protest does not disrupt the school environment while upholding their freedom of expression?
“Am I talking to Cindy Wong? No. .? Oh- okay. Well, in that case!- Not that it would matter if it was Cindy anyways. . heh. I would gather all possible information regarding the topic of the protest, taking note of subject, time, place, mediums.. all of that good stuff! From there I will explain the importance of maintaining peace and quiet.. no yelling.. and explain that if it does happen to escalate, it may fall on the said student.. yiiikes. Anywho! If it was serious enough, I would run it by DonDon!” *cough* “Donny Ark. I would talk to Donny Ark. At that point, I’ll follow his instructions.”
A teacher/receptionist has told you that you are doing something that goes against what you were trained by your higher-ups. How would you react to this?
“Um, probably cry?” *awkward laugh* “Just kidding. .! I would listen carefully to their words, taking note of every individual word. After, I would probably like.. take a bow to signify gratitude and respect? If I’m doing something wrong. . which I never do.. this would be like- a first. With that said, I would affirm to them that my behaviour will change and emphasize my willingness to learn. I’m perfect anyways so that won’t happen, don’t you worry, love!”

Kyoto Garden Dance Mystery - The Missing Scroll
Event Flow
Arrival and Welcome
Guests will enter through a bamboo archway lit with floating lanterns, greeted by calming flute music. They will receive a personalized "investigator's notebook" containing the event backstory, rules, and space to write down clues. As people arrive, soft traditional music lets peers mingle and dance under a canopy of lanterns while students gather. There will be a mocktail bar serving drinks and traditional food for students. Once enough students have gathered, the host will gather everyone near the stage to welcome everybody and take an SLT’s offering of the ‘ceremonial Sake’ (not to be drunk). A few moments later they will announce the theft of a sacred scroll. Moments later, the "keeper of the scroll" is dramatically discovered lifeless (a staged scene played by a participant or volunteer). Students will then be instructed to search the school for clues to solve both the murder and the scroll's theft.
Roles and Characters
The Host: Ring leader and instructor of events/students. (Ella Repoza)
The Keeper of the Scroll: Victim whose murder sparks the investigation.(???)
The Thief: Stole the scroll but did not kill the keeper. (???)
The Murderer: Killed the keeper and tried to frame the thief. (Valentina Cruz)
Red Herrings: Other characters with motives (e.g., a co-worker, vice-principal, teammate). (???)
The Mystery
These clues will be scattered across multiple different parts of the school. Normally dances are contained to the gym, but in this case students will have to roam the entire school grounds in order to find answers. (Council members will be present for /its if needed)
The pond outside of the gym: Students must delicately retrieve an origami lotus floating in the water. Inside is a cryptic message offering a location(green house) hint.
HINT:
Captivating in its bright glow
It shines through each translucent wall
Giving life to fauna of all kinds
Where the light meets glass to grow
There, is where you will find answers
The green house: Once students have found the first clue they will find themselves at the green house. It is there that they will find two things: One, a traditional haiku. Two, a clue to who “murdered” the keeper.
HAIKU:
Where power is held
In rooms that hold dark secrets
Your answer is there
CLUE:
An identifiable piece of clothing, hair, etc. of whoever the “murderer” volunteer is.
3.Donny Ark’s Office: There are mysterious red footprints (large enough to be a grown man) leading in and out of Ark’s office. The footprints are inconsistent with the "prime suspect" (a red herring), leading students to question their assumptions. However, the real clue is a note on the desk.
NOTE:
Your answer is on one of the lanterns.
4. Track field: Participants will search amongst the MANY floating lanterns in an attempt to find the correct note that reads:
NOTE:
The final piece lies where spirits meet. The sacred bottle holds the key.
5. The gym: The students will have to remember the ceremonial Sake bottle held by the host in order to find the answer. They will find her standing at the stage, where she remained, waiting. When they ask her for the bottle, she will hand it to them. Inside, a note, revealing the thieves identity.
From there - Students must use the evidence they collected (e.g., footprints, haikus, hidden notes) to deduce the answers: The thief stole the scroll for its power but did not commit the murder, The murderer is someone who wanted to frame the thief for their own motives (e.g., revenge, jealousy). After a certain amount of time the host will dramatically reveal the thief and murderer to everyone, explaining how the clues led to their identities. Winners (the person/group that solved both parts of the mystery first or most accurately) receive prizes!

Prizes
Best Detective: For solving both the theft and the murder.
Best Costume: For the guest with the most creative or authentic Japanese-inspired outfit.
Participation Awards: Small keepsakes like lanterns or traditional items.
Then, the dance will resume with celebratory music under the lantern-lit garden. There are many opportunities for students to explore booths that offer photos, serve food, etc. Additionally, it may be neat for the cheer team to perform a Shibu (fan dance) as the event is heavily rooted in Japan's cultures. Having a dance that integrates both culture and lore is a gap that I see and I think that this event would allow for a bridge to cover that disparity.
Teams Trivia Night
The student council would host an exciting Trivia Night featuring questions about Karakura’s history, school rules, past tournament details and dates, former captains, and even SLT members' favorite colors, clubs lore—just to name a few topics! Students will have plenty of notice to prepare, with hints and freebie questions shared in advance to help them study. Each question would carry a point value, and teams will compete to hit the buzzer (determined by rolling the highest number) within a set time limit.
To keep the event organized, participants would register with their teams - whether they’re Bobcats or Spartans. After registering, teams would face off in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere. Points would be tallied per team, with a Bobcat winner and a Spartan winner crowned based on the total amount of points. However, the ultimate rivalry heats up when the total points of all Bobcat and Spartan teams are combined to determine the true overall victor. What better way to fuel some school spirit and healthy competition?
Team names and colors would also be allotted to each team. This would offer a fun topic for teams to discuss in regard to their name and color. If a team is not able to dress to impress(in their respective color), an outfit will be provided if asked. This just adds one more fun little element to make the event truly memorable for the jocks. Team bonding is extremely important around this time of year when people begin to struggle with motivation, so I believe this would bring everyone together.
This event would allow for the students on team to interact with other people outside of the jock scene. The questions that would be put out in advance requires the students to reach out to club-members, SLT, faculty, maidens, police, and doctors. It would almost act as an “information” scavenger hunt. This opportunity would allow for them to branch out from their typical interactions and involve them in other places in town. Not only would this be great representation for the school, but it would also boost morale in the students as they work together with their teams to win the trophy(?). Additionally, this builds the bonds of bobcat/spartan teams in the sense of sharing information in order to win the real prize.
The idea of broadcasting this event piques my interest. I fear that having spectators would make it extremely hard to understand what is happening with all the extra voices, however, I think that other students being able to watch could be fun. I’m unsure if it is allowed, but back in the day there were commentators for tournaments and I think that something like that could be great!
This event could be adapted to fit more students than just the sports teams as it has lots of flex.
