As of current, the IGN I’ll be applying for this shop on goes by ‘sunswife’. This is an alternative account, my main, and most active account being ‘Mistalee’. Of course, my usernames are always subject to change. Should I have changed either of these usernames before this application is reviewed, it will be edited accordingly.

Previous warns/kicks/bans:
I take great pride in announcing the fact that I have never been banned from the server, nor kicked for any misbehavior/negative reasons. Of course, there’s the occasional ‘AFK Kick’, or ‘Relog’ kick, though I don’t believe that they’re anything of note. As for warns, however, I have only two warnings which I have accumulated during my entire stay on SchoolRP; These being for ‘PG in OOC’, as well as ‘Misuse of the /me system’. Given that these are quite aged, neither of them are now counted as active.
Shop wanted:
In this application, I’ll be applying for a shop in the style of a nightclub. The design of the shop itself is still an undetermined factor, seeing as the building of which it is meant to be built in is still to be customized accordingly, though a general concept of what it's appearance entails is fairly certain. To begin with, the general location of the nightclub would be close to the shopping district, nearing the Spartan house/Park area;
As mentioned above, the general areas of the club are for certain; This being the obligatory, as well as necessary accommodation of a dance floor; an area in which any guests stopping by are permitted to step onto to enjoy a dance accompanied by the music being played by a DJ with family, or friends would be provided within the club, the exact parameter of the dance floor itself is most likely to be determined during the customization of the club itself, should this application be accepted.
Furthermore, the interior would also host a bar, of which bartenders will, of course, be operating. This allows any individuals passing by the club to grab a quick drink, whether it be a small soft drink or alcoholic beverage to help settle the night. In addition, the club itself would also entail a lounging area, in which any guests looking to sit down or briefly take a pause from parties would be able to take a quick 'breather'. In addition to this final feature, anybody in the lounging area would also be able to order a drink, quick snack, or anything of sorts.
And last but not least, of course, the shop's name. The name of the nightclub I'd like to be in possession of would go by the name of 'The Luxe', an obvious play on words. The name itself is a play on the word 'Deluxe', this being quite clear to notice once spoken out loud.
Why do you want to own a shop?:
My motivation as to why I'm applying for this shop can be summarized into a multitude of factors, these being;
- When taken into my own account, the concept of owning a shop on the server SchoolRP definitely does come across as exciting as well as intriguing, seeing as this in itself is an activity of which I myself have not yet participated in, however, definitely is something that comes across as quite intriguing, and most definitely something I'd like to experience. I believe that receiving a position like this would not only equate to an interesting, as well as a positive outcome. I also believe that I would be capable of making my shop stand out in terms of it being unique, seeing as the general concept of it, though not necessarily unheard of, is definitely an idiosyncratic notion of which I see myself capable of owning and managing.
- As previously mentioned in the previous point, the general unique concept is definitely distinct and evident, given that most other shops on SchoolRP don't majorly revolve around a roleplay aspect. This being said, I believe that being granted permission to a shop such as this would provide me with the ability to supply players with an opportunity to possibly involve themselves in an interesting, as well as immersive roleplay experience.
- I would generally consider myself to be a fairly active player on the server, which would allow me to frequently open on my Shop-Owner account. This advantage in itself does come across as rather appealing to me, thus playing a factor in motivating me into applying.
- Last but not least, a recommendation from a fellow staff member has also motivated me to apply, though the name won't be mentioned, seeing as it's not particularly relevant to this application. The recommendation definitely piqued my interest, given both previously mentioned factors definitely came to mind.
What do you plan to do with the shop?:
Though what I plan to do with 'The Luxe' isn't unheard of in regards to the general structure of how shops function on the server, I believe the following plans listed below are still perfectly valid;
- Sales. Taking the fact that customers from all business districts are interested in sales, deals, etc, I believe that hosting an occasional sale in the nightclub would definitely attract customers, as well as service. Of course, sales won't be hosted 24/7, or around the clock. Intermittent sales would certainly have the possibility to be added to the store for a single opening, this possibly being around a seasonal occurrence or general 'special day'.
- Small 'events'. This concept bears a broad, though somewhat defined context. Small 'events' could be hosted within the store, this, for example, is a dance competition, karaoke night, or anything of the likes. The events could advertise a prize toward the winner, motivating customers to play along in hopes of earning themselves the winning award; This being, for example, a few drinks on the house, physical prize, or even currency to hand out.
- Simply running the store. This final factor definitely does explain itself upon the title. The general plan that I have for this shop is perfectly capable of being put into simple words; I'd like to run it, just like any other nightclub. Of course, this doesn't mean that the club will, or should come across as 'typical', 'basic' or generally unoriginal in comparison to other stores, however, my main goal with this shop is indeed to generally just run it and offer players a unique roleplay experience.
These are only the ground surface of what I believe I have the potential to plan with this club, more ideas, of course, being able to come to mind after time, though these concepts listed above being a basic, though solid ground to build up upon or add onto in the future.
How will your shop be unique?:
The concept of the shop in itself is rather unique in my opinion, seeing as there hasn’t been a nightclub on SchoolRP in quite some time. The shop itself would offer a grandiose way to spend your time In-Character, this, for example, being an opportunity to dine at the bar and converse with whoever decides to accommodate the customers on their trip to the business, or directing their attention to the dance floor instead, where said customers' characters are given the opportunity to acquaint themselves with strangers, possibly even befriending them, as well as dancing along to the music provided at the club.
Furthermore, players would also have the option to request a song by the DJ on duty at the time, allowing them to dance along to the music they enjoy listening to. As previously mentioned in the previous question; "What do you plan on doing with the shop?", the club itself could also feature small events in itself, this being, for example, a dance competition, karaoke night, etc. This addition would gift the store itself an opportunity to allow players to perceive the club in a positive light. With all of these factors provided, I believe a final unique attribute of this shop would be that this club, in particular, would be a shop which players can actively advance in roleplay in, though this may not be completely unheard of in shops, I believe adding a unique roleplay aspect into it is definitely something that isn't all too common in a generalized store on SchoolRP, making it stand out and generally catch the attention of players.
Not only this, but a factor of the club itself will also feature an immersive music feature, allowing players to listen along to music being played on a specific website, this going by the name of 'Watch2Gether', a media which allows users to stream music to one another, of course given the moderation present on the website itself, only the DJ would be capable of queuing and playing songs. Guests of the club would also be permitted to put in a song request, this of course costing a fair amount of yen, also referred to as another option of income for the club itself. A link to an opened 'room', A.K.A an area in which players may join OOC-ly, though music being played there is all to be taken IC-ly.
How many employees are you planning to have?:
Given the fact that answering this question in fully-fleshed sentences may be a tad difficult to read, or understand, I would like to save the eye-sore by simply just listing the employee count, as well as employee title below;
4x Bouncers - The term 'bouncer' here refers to an individual which would be kept in charge of ensuring all attenders/attendee's present are kept safe, allowing all guests to enjoy their night safely, knowing that these specific workers are always present, and able to control any possible fights, or disruptive citizens misbehaving in the club itself. Two of these bouncers would be operating on the outside, checking to see whether or not any untrustworthy or criminal individuals are attempting to enter the bar and possibly risk the safety of the civilians inside of the club. Essentially preventing any mishaps before they happen, per se. The other two listed here would be operating within the club, managing any rowdy individuals which may be causing an unnecessary commotion or disrupting the positive attitude of the shop.
2x Bartenders - These would be the two employees permitted to stand behind the bar, offering individuals looking for a drink, or a quick snack to consume before going on with their day.
2x DJ’s - The reason as to why two instead of one DJ is put onto this list is for the sake of the fact that one DJ may not be available at a certain period of which the shop may be opening. This allows for a second DJ to possibly step in and assist, playing music for those interested in hearing, though they’ll only be put to use if the main DJ isn’t available at the time.
3x Waiter/Waitresses - Given that the club will have an indoor lounge with fair customer service to offer, the club will be permitted a maximum of four waiters/waitresses to work there, serving beverages and food to the guests which order. Of course, this number may vary in terms of how many players decide to accommodate the club.
Counted together, this list of employees adds up to eleven in total. The number listed here is subject to change at all times, depending on the circumstances of the general activity on the server/customers present in the club.
