.ᐟ.⋆♱Describe your activity on the server:
Of course, we’ll start with how much I’m on. My activity is rather consistent, but is naturally balanced around real-life commitments like college, my band and family and friends. I prioritise these as much as possible, and if my activity changes significantly, I will ensure that I complete the appropriate inactvitiy logs. That said, I remain extremely committed to maintaining a strong and dependable presence within the faction. Around my college schedule, I am generally available most weekdays and weekends, typically between 9am to 9pm - while exact times may vary I try to make an effort to be active during peak periods of activity.
With experience, I have been a part of the server since late 2023 and have developed a solid understanding of roleplay through many factions and experiences. Rather than listing everything because I’m sure you don’t want to hear that, I will highlight the most relevant aspects. My time within CrimeRP has been particularly valuable, where I have held positions ranging from higher-up roles in a gang, to involvement in BMDA, bounty hunting and currently KA Autos (on my main account of course.) These roles have helped me strengthen myself in DetailRP, situational awareness, and the ability to respond effectively in fast-paced scenarios. Additionally, I have spent several months in KPD before taking a necessary break. During that time, I significantly improved my ability to handle social interactions in-character, manage pressure in live situations and contribute to deeper character development and roleplay quality. KPD taught me alot about how factions work overall, and the ways that they are ran through with things like logs, other factions intertwining and so much more. This experience has helped me approach roles with so much more maturity and professionality than I had before.

Of course I do, activity is what keeps any faction - and even more this one alive.

.ᐟ.⋆♱What shop are you applying for?:
Rotasu Music
ཐི‧⁺˚̣̣̣༺༒︎༻໒˚̣̣̣⁺‧ཋྀ
.ᐟ.⋆♱Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:
I want to become a shopkeeper because it’s a role that I genuinely feel like I’ll enjoy and feel confident within, as well as performing well. I’ve previously worked in a shop as a cashier and security back in 2024, and that experience gave me a strong appreciation for customer interaction, consistency and the importance of being welcoming and creating a place for customers to feel comfortable in. It’s a style of roleplay that I can genuinely engage with and find rewarding when done properly. I’d also consider myself a strong people person, I’m comfortable approaching others, holding conversations and adapting to different personalities, something I’m even known for out of character is that I can and will talk to anyone about anything just on the dime, which I think will heavily help me through this faction. I also do believe that you only live once and you have to try everything out at least once, I want to branch out into this faction as it is almost a complete new slate for me and I'd love to indulge!
One of the reasons I want Rotasu specifically is that outside of SRP, I’m also heavily involved in the music industry through my own band, playing guitar and being the lead vocalist is a dream of mine and has been something I’ve been working towards as a big part of my life for years. I'm not going to dwell on this too much, but I could tell you easily that people within my radius in the music scene know my name, I've worked towards music and done so much with my band that I almost need to share this passion among everything that I do! This could also show you guys that I am experienced in Music, I know what's right and what's wrong and what you can do in just a little local scene that can get so much creativity and musical flow going! Seriously something I'm going to mention later down the line has genuinely given one of my nerdy little mates so much confidence in his skills! I adore the musical aspect of just life, it's an art I can't wait to see more of on this server.
When it comes to my life outside of SchoolRP, I work in a pub in my town that's the most popular within a 10 mile radius. With this, I've learnt many skills that have made me so much more intrigued in hands on work. This job taught me things like customer service, working on the dime and perfectly in a short amount of time, and everything else that I needed to know when it came to working in hospitality. These skills have driven a passion that I have for one thing, customer service. Customer service and working with people and giving what they need to feel satisfied or a little bit happier is something I absolutely love with the idea of being a shopkeeper. Whilst yes, I could get this simply from working in a shop, the idea of being able to manipulate and control my shop to feel like home not only to me but to the customers is something I absolutely adore the idea of chasing. My experience in my work outside of this server has heavily helped me realise that I belong to Business, that I belong to a place where I can do stuff, do it right and get rewarded by simply a smile from the customer.
As well as this, within college I take Business Studies - whilst I know some stuff won’t carry over to SRP, I know that my knowledge instinct and awareness of how to run a business will help within my journey in this faction. I've taken this course and exceeded in it well, allowing myself to get the grades and work needed done and (tutut I'm restarting college next year to do Full-Time music by the way because they wouldn't let me do it in business) allow myself to fully emerge in this subject. I don't know how much you know, but a Business A-level literally teaches you everything you need to know about running a business, marketing, pricing strategies, essential steps you NEED to take. This alone has given me so much confidence that I want to take it to this server and do everything that I can here to use these skills and knowledge that I've gained!

.ᐟ.⋆♱What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?:
My plan is to create an alternative-style shop that serves as a welcoming space for the community, centered around music and creative expression. Rather than just functioning as somewhere like guitar center where people walk in - get a guitar - go. I want this to be somewhere where people can buy stuff, feel like they belong and meet people that fall under their style and can feel welcomed to interact with the shop and be here regularly, having a place that they try to spend time in. The shop will take inspiration from older, early-2000’s music stores - slightly rough around the edges but absolutely beaming with character. That kind of environment feels more personal and authentic, and I think it’d stand out compared to the more standard setup and would allow for more immersive role play as well as creating an atmosphere that allows people to ask questions "What's the difference between this and this" sort of thing and allow for us to really show off our knowledge in the shop. The goal is to create a space that feels lived-in and genuine, while still being organised and functional. Making this shop feel like it has a genuine history behind it. The plans to make this shop unique is its emphasis on interactions and atmosphere and complete role play that pushes the DetailRP and immersive role play that I hear so many people feel like they are genuinely missing on this server. A plan I do have is making this open at least weekly - if not more - to allow for a lot more development between regulars and individuals genuinely interested in the music scene! Over time, and this is a goal I really want the shop to work too, is that I want this to have it's own recognizable identity within the server, where people associate it not just with its products, but with the experience that our cashiers will give and provide in this space. I aim to put a strong focus into this shops identity and presentation, through design tone and branding, I really want us to stand out as something distinct from generic businesses, hence why I've allowed us to be a more alternative shop that means that a certain community is driven towards us. With this, I wish to re-brand the shop to "Zankoku Supply Co." reinforcing this theme as the name illuminates that dark feel of our scene, and gives us a new name in the industry to work by. Overall, I want this shop to feel less like a generic business and more like a recognizable character driven part of the server that people will actively go and visit.
Another thing I'd quite like to do is introduce my shop as somewhere that not only sells the instruments, but is a place where people can play. I plan on turning the top floor into a place with a stage that people can perform at on due dates with events team permission and help! This stage will look something like the below image collided, and will mean that people within Karakura can feel more happy to come and buy and pick up an instrument as the music scene will be flowing with my store! The idea of this venue is that not only do the people on shift get a little extra cash from ticket sales (Probably about 5-20k), but the performers get that little extra money AND visibility! This venue will be INSIDE the shop rather than the open mic stage outside, and will mean theres almost a closer connection between the community and the band!
This leads into my next idea which is that I want my shop to be a place where bands can come and put themselves foward and promote themselves through us, as well as having their own Onrain (Same platform we'll be promoting on) to assist with it. I want to help boost MusicRP overall and this would be one way, getting a few discords and onrain pages running for them, letting themselves getting popular and sorting gigs out for the time that I can at my venue!!

.ᐟ.⋆♱What will you sell in your shop?:
My shop will primarily focus on music-related items, centered around instruments and equipment that fit the alternative theme I am aiming to create. This will include guitars, accessories, general music gear and everything you need. My main goal with being in this shop industry is to sell a wide variety of instruments that still fits the genre that I am going for. I wish to make it completely focused on music - yet with things like microphone stands and drum sticks that could be roleplayed out as “Oh we need spares,” This will be decided when I fully go in and get accepted, if I make a list of all the instruments now it'll take up alot of time that I could be spending on other parts of the application, however if I have time I will come back to this.
ཐི‧⁺˚̣̣̣༺༒︎༻໒˚̣̣̣⁺‧ཋྀ
.ᐟ.⋆♱How many employees do you plan to have?:
I plan to have about 30 employee’s behind me during this work. I know this is seen as a rather short number however this amount of employee’s means that I can personally have more roleplay with them - have a deeper roleplay and engagement as regulars to the shop will recognise the employee’s - and mean that I can standardise my employees as I wish and manage them better.
[OWNER]
This individual will be obviously myself, and have complete power over the shop, the way it works and the general functions of it. Dealing with things like consequences, final removals of workers, stock take and so forth. As well as this, working as an owner means I will have to take into accountability who applys and is accepted to work in my shop based off a number of things.
[Managers 0/4]
I will accolade 4 managers total to assist in me running the shop, these four will help me with things like watching over employee's, helping with new ideas and events, and so forth.
[Cashier 0/20]
This line of individuals are those that'd work in the shop and assist me day to day with making sure that everything is running smoothly, messaging me when there is issues with stock, customers and any other risks or assesments that I'll need to take as the shopkeeper. These people will function through Shop Panel and will be paid accordingly and be purely based off DetailRP and work whenever necessary. My main plan and hope is to have these individuals both efficient with any forms of roleplay, but also the output of the work that they have.
[Security 0/6]
These will be only part-time, and often working when we hold events or we know that the shop is going to be busy based on things like SRP events at the time or trends that mean that the shop will be more busy than usual. These securities are here to make sure that our staff are treated correctly, no one in the shop feels unsafe and to be almost a borderline before KPD comes in and deals with situations properly.
PLEASE NOTE
All applicants will be ran through a training that will assist with their DetailRP and to make sure that it is up to standard and with a good enough grammar and expectation that they can carry it out in the store through normal interactions! I will not be asked for multi-append actions but instead little actions and quirks that make the shop feel a little bit more interesting.
.ᐟ.⋆♱Additional notes about your application:
One thing!
I have an event idea! An idea that I have which would allow for consistent and engaging roleplay with the shop, I would aim to host a small recurring in-store event tilted "Open Mic Night @ Zankoku!" My entire premise for this is that it would be a relaxed, community-focused event where players are encouraged to come in and perform in-character, whether this be with solo music, their band, spoken word poetry or even dancing for all I care just whatever helps them express themselves! This is with the intention to create an inclusive space where players feel comfortable participating or simply attending and interacting with others. The event itself will be kept simple and manageable to ensure that we can stay consistent, using the stage on the pier just outside Rotasu to allow for this to happen, characters will take turn performing and my own character acting as a Host and maybe even doing something himself if requested (I love MusicRP okay) and allow for participants to feel involved, introduced and maintaining engagement throughout the event. This would be held monthly, overtime the goal of this would be to build familiarity and encourage repeat attendance, allowing regular customers and performers to almost build themselves an identity within the music industry through this shop and be a starting space! This event overall is designed to reinforce the shop's core identity as a welcoming, character-driven and roleplay-driven place, whilst remaining highly realistic and sustainable both for the shop and the community.

I really do appreciate you looking through this application, this is something that as a faction has seemed out of reach from the start due to my own skills and activities - I feel as though I am fully ready to enter this scene and would love to work alongside the members in this faction and yourself!

I do not.
