8/10; I rate myself this score as of late, I have been quite ill with a cold/allergies and have been up and down. Otherwise, I am pretty much on every day and roleplaying with people that come up to me! On my alt account; I work at 3 shops along with Crime Things and on my main I play about 4-17 hours a day, depending on what is going on and depending on when I log on. I play in a range of time zones from the daytime in the US to the nighttime in the US. I try to stay available in case anything happens or if people need more opinions on things or just to ask general questions!

What is your motivation for becoming a teacher?:
While watching the server go by with, sometimes, nothing to do. I miss the interaction between School Faculty / Student or Faculty / Faculty interactions. I miss doing the lesson plans that I use to do when I was previously a teacher and coming up with small games to make the class more entertaining than just sitting down and writing in a book. I want to help students be able to have a fun school/classroom experience and have them learn something through my classes!

What are the teacher class logs and why are they important?:
Teacher logs are logs that show us ICly and OOCly when and how long we are hosting classes. It will tell the Head of Teachers and Head of Professors if we are a monthly quota(min is 10) and to see how active we are within the faction.

As a teacher, what are the strict rules when being in a class?:
OOCly: As long as students are respecting the SRP rules and aren’t too many troublemakers, the rules will be calmer and more relaxed in what students would be able to do. But as soon as they start becoming more troublesome, The ICly section will happen;

ICly: These are a few that will be strictly enforced if students start to misbehave within the class. If any of these rules are broken, you are bound to be removed from the lesson entirely if not behaved.

  1. No Swearing within the classroom.
  2. Stay seated at all times unless asked to leave the classroom / asked to move seats
  3. Students will be RANDOMLY called on if a question goes unanswered in class
  4. Privileges can be taken away(Privileges are along the lines of; Sitting on the floor than in your chair, Talking between your tablemates/classmates, Snacking/drinking in class, cellphones/music, and more)
  5. Do not ask to leave the classroom 30 mins(IC time) once the class has started or is about to end
  6. Keep questions to the topic at hand, all other questions can be asked after class has ended

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I have many experiences within SRP when it comes to Roleplay; I was a teacher, shrine, and government. Currently working in 3 shops, fight club, working with BMD, familyrp, and a few other roleplay experiences! I did start my SRP journey in 2021 and I went to College B when I first joined GangRP, and once I was done with GangRP for the first time that was when I went into Teacher for the first time!

In detail, describe the ranking system of teachers:
- HD
↳ Meaning:
Head of Department
↳ Description: Head of their field of study! They are the ones who train the newbies and can look after different classes if they need assistance! They work hand-in-hand with SLT to get work done!

- QT
↳ Meaning:
Qualified Teacher
↳ Description: These Teachers have been through here for a while and know what they are talking about! They can do anything as other teachers and can hold their own in their classroom without any help!

- NQT
↳ Meaning:
Newly Qualified Teacher
↳ Description: These Teachers can teach in their classroom and teach their subject, they are also able to host detention and make sure students are following the rules. They will need some assistance from time to time

- UT
↳ Meaning:
Untrained Teacher
↳ Description: These Teachers who were just newly accepted, are overall untrained but they can handle situations between students, making sure the rules are being followed, and having detention.


Teacher Knowledge
Present to us your knowledge about Teachers in-game and out-of-game, and what purpose teachers serve. What salary do they get? Include a paragraph about the way teachers teach, and what they do in their spare time in general:

OOCly: Teachers part of the Academic Discord can assist with the help channel(with proper knowledge of what you are answering), address people, and post on the bulletin board once a month(couple times a month) with students' grades. Teachers get 300k yen if the monthly min quota was reached(10 classes, roughly 3 classes a week). Each person who has the teacher/professor tag has their way of teaching. Some are more strict in how they teach or in the classroom and more are relaxed and laid back. A teacher should be able to balance both of them within school time and out of school. Teachers, in their spare time, can get other jobs like working for shops. They can spend their free time however with they want as long as they get their lesson plans done and know what their next topic is gonna be. Each class a teacher hosts and a student stays in for the entire class, when class ends, they will be rewarded with a class attended to their record which could count towards their college exams!

ICly: Teachers are the teachers of knowledge in the school for the students who come to school between 08:30-15:00(minus detention hours which can go from 15:00-17:30? Unsure about the ending time) They make sure that they are respectful within the school grounds, as yes they can be silly goofy but it has to be within a certain professionalism of the adult around students. Outside of school grounds, teachers and other school faculty can do just about anything within the town as long they stay within the Karakura law and don’t get too over the top with what they do and how they present themselves. Teachers within their classroom must follow the Karakura Law and the Karakura School rules(which oocly they can be found on a board heading into the front reception area), making sure they are doing their lesson plans and not causing any problems that would be reported to HD’s or SLT’s(or being sued), they can do anything within reason. Teachers are also able to give out reward tokens if students behave or answer questions / be active within the class and are well-behaved! (They can exchange these tokens at the reception desk at the front/back of the school)

Why are teachers important to a SchoolRP server?:
Teachers(and other school faculty/professors) are important to SchoolRP as it is a server based in Japan and mainly revolves around School and the school faction itself, yes we have a city side of the server. But most of the players are between the grades of grade 7 - College Ph.D., which can be obtained by just playing on the server(7-12) or by progressing through the exam system(plugin) to get B-M, to progress to Ph.D., you will need to do a PowerPoint and a presentation on their chosen topic. If the panel of judges agrees that you your presentation and PowerPoint are good, you will move on to your Ph.D. and go through an icly ceremony with the Dean. Without teachers and their classes, you wouldn’t be able to make it through the first set of exams when you are grade-12! And the same goes for Professor classes to get from B to M.

Eli Hanazono-Zennix has been a man who’s been in Karakura since he was 16 and started working when he was 30 after years of study and going through school. Eli is a calm, easy-going man who has a strict demeanor to him when he sees others who do not follow the rules on school grounds. Eli is an average-height male with long-ish curly brown hair that is typically pulled back into a low ponytail. His brownish/amber eyes would be sharp to certain things and soft to others, a large scar would go from the top of the right side of his forehead down to his right jaw, going over his eye. His ‘mean-looking’ appearance does make certain people fear him and unapproachable but once you soften up the ‘mean-looking’ male, you will realize that Eli is soft-hearted and is a child with his attitude(depending on the topic)

With the towns folk knowing him from his previous occupations, most people would have respect and understand the male that would be standing there. Most, if get to know Eli, will be strict when it is needed and understanding of situations that will happen around him once he had gotten all of the sides necessary for the problem or conversation. His outlook on students, on campus, will be more of a strict demeanor and to the point, but he will still be fun with students around him! He personally loves the kids of Karakura and wishes to make sure they are well educated and to better the future by making sure students are well educated. Eli’s attitude towards the students is roughly the same when it comes to his co-workers, strict and to the point but once he gets warmed up to the people around him, he will be more excited and more like himself as he is outside of school.

Eli’s personality is a double-bladed sword; on one side Eli is strict and mean, sometimes can be rude depending on the situation, and on the other side He can be happy, hyper, and ‘child-like’. Childlike in the way that he gets attached to his close friends and family. Making sure to watch over his kids while they are in school but still be their teacher and be their parent when school ends. Eli’s plans for the future are uncertain, he would love to continue working as a teacher and eventually retire down in a life of relaxation and a stress-free lifestyle. But It is Karakura, who knows on which direction he will go in life or what will excite him next in his journey.


Scenarios
You find a gang of delinquents in the hallway cursing and swearing, what do you do?:

Eli would walk up to the delinquents and would attempt to quiet them down and separate them, wanting to know what is going on;

1. If they cooperate and listen to Eli the first time, Eli would attempt to get both side's accounts of what had happened, and if they behave, let them off with a warning and separate for the remainder of the day.
  • 1. an If one party is calm and the other is continued to yell and scream; the calm party will get off with a warning and the yelling party would be warned to quit yelling. If warned plenty of times, Eli would issue detention to the yelling party.

  • 1. b If later in the day and the yelling party is still messing with the other, even after being given the detention slip, bring up the behavior to an HD or direct them towards a member of SLT(ONLY IF THERE IS NO OTHER OPTION AND YOU GAVE PLENTY OF WARNINGS / Recommended by HD or other faculty or the SLT themselves)


2. Both parties do not cooperate and Eli has to continue to have them calm down and give them plenty of warnings, Eli will issue both parties detention slips for after school.
  • 2. a If both parties continue to argue and fight, give them plenty of warnings before asking an HD or SLT for further assistance(Refer to 1. b)


No one in your class is listening to a word you say, what do you do?:
Eli would try and get the class's attention through vocal commands or physical actions like clapping or making a loud noise in the front of the classroom(banging his book/hand/etc on his desk)

1. If the class settles down on the first few attempts, remind the class that while some whispering and some talking about the subject that is being taught is fine, make sure to listen to the directions that Eli gave them.
  • 1. an If people continue to talk and disrupt class, ask them again to quiet down before removing them completely from the classroom. If they disrupt the class from outside of the classroom, call on the radio for any faculty not busy to handle the yelling student.

2. If the class continues to be disruptive / not listening, start warning them again with a raised voice(not yelling), and if that does not work, start to escort students out of class. (refer to 1.a for disruption of class from the outside)


When in the teacher's lounge, how does your character act?:
Eli is typically an outgoing and hyper man who likes to interact with people! In the teacher’s lounge, he can act a few ways

1. If Eli is in a good mood and just hanging out not doing any work, he would be up for a casual chat about work or some outside work chat, depending on what is being brought up. Typically Eli would leave out many comments as for him to be ‘work appropriate’.
  • 1. an If a coworker of his starts going off in a weird direction with a discussion, he will ask politely for them to avoid that type of topic, at least while at work/on school grounds, and just typically move on.
  • 1. b If the conversation continues after being asked to stop, he would ask one more time before leaving and addressing an HD for assistance with the problem conversation and let them handle it.

2. If Eli is sitting down with low energy, he would typically just offer a wave and a smile. He would be drinking his coffee and on his phone, he will dabble into small talk if he is brought into the conversation.
  • 2.a If Eli is on one of his low-energy days he could also be found in the breakroom working on some lesson plans for his class or grading papers. If he is deep into his lesson planning or grading, he could accidentally ignore if he is addressed or others around him as he is focused.

entering the loud, talkative classroom, Eli would adjust his tie and walk to his desk at the front of the class. Giving a loud cough, he would speak in a raised voice over the students, “Good [Morning/Afternoon] Class! I am Mr. Zennix, Hanazono, Eli, whichever you chose. Just make sure to be respectful with which name you choose, today we are going to be learning about [topic]. Please make sure to raise your hands and if you DO decide to chat with your TABLEMATES, please do in hushed voices. If you wish to get my attention or address something with the class, please raise your hand and you will be called on.” Sat his bag on the table as he opened it, pulling out his lesson plan, turning to the board to grab some chalk

/me writing on the board a chart, he would overhear some students LOUDLY whispering as he tapped on the board with the chalk lightly before turning around, addressing the entire classroom, “I do understand that this topic might be [Describing Emotion], but please make sure to keep your voices down to a whisper and your tablemates only. If you wish and continue to interrupt class with talking, I can separate you all and we sit in a giant circle with people you may not know. So please, keep your voices down and continue to take notes.” Turned back to the board as he would flip to the next page in his folder before continuing on

/me looking up from his students to the clock as he closed his folder with the day's lesson in it, “As I do understand that is it nearly [Break time/Lunchtime/Home time], please make sure if you have any questions to ask them while there is class remaining, otherwise my classroom door will be open for anyone to come forward with questions or need extra assistance with the topic we had today. You are welcome to play on your phone or talk with your classmates for the remainder of the class.” Smiled at the students before turning to the board and erasing what he had done on the board

(After class but in the classroom)
/me turned to the student who [stayed/reentered] [in / the] classroom as he would listen to the student's question about that day [Topic], he would give a nod as he listened to the student's question, “[Topic] is pretty difficult to understand and thank you for coming back and asking about it! Are you able to pull out your notes or do you wish for me to get you a fresh notebook?” Waited for an answer before [Nodding at the notes being pulled/getting a notebook and returning to the student], “Right. [Topic] is broken down into [X/Y] and it can be simplified down into [X/Y]. Does that explain the basics of [Topic] for you or do you wish for me to explain it further?”


Backstory
Eli Zennix, being a former teacher for Karakura High School, his life wasn’t and hasn’t been easy. Before becoming a teacher back in his 30s, he was involved in the Karakura Underworld and as he slowly started to come out of that darkness from a death of a close figure in his life, someone he looked up to. He would decide to travel to America to focus his time on earning his Bachelor's in Biology(Minor Education) with a focus on Zoology, arriving back in Japan, he would put in his application for his first teaching job which he was accepted. Between the years of 30-34, he would work as a Biology Teacher and was well-liked!

Events happened outside of work in which he had to resign from his position, this would allow him to get used to his life of not working and he would slowly start to travel between the Island of Karakura to Mainland Japan to slowly start working on his Bachelors in Sociology and Communication(Minor in Psychology) when Eli was around age 35, and in the express program and too much time on his hands, he would submit an application to the Karakura Government in which he worked until he was around 41.

Currently, leaving his position and wanting to take a step down for his health, he would start looking at teaching and learning again. Taking an online class, as to avoid the constant travel between the island and the mainland, he would eventually get his Bachelor's in Mathematics focusing on Statistics and in his old days, revolving around Crime statistics. Now, he placed in his application in hopes he could go back to an easy and not-so-quiet life of Teaching again, which he quite enjoyed when he was teaching before.
