Shop Information
/*You may add your own questions to the format*/
What shop are you applying for?:
I will be applying for “Dear Karakura” but I would like to change it to “Tsuki no Umi,” which I believe means, “Sea of the Moon,” which will lead to our main theme of the restaurant. I believe it is important that the title and name that carries the restaurant is fitting to the entirety of the restaurant.
Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:
Shopkeeper has been something I’ve always wanted to try, having applied a year ago when they were last open for the same reason. Shopkeeper is the most sought out role for a reason, for not only what it brings to SRP, but for the diverse aspects it allows other people to make, letting those express their ideas and passion for SRP and the faction, and I want to do just that. Through any hardships I may face being a shopkeeper, I want to be a part of a faction I know I would enjoy just as much as the Government Faction, to say once more, this has been something I have wanted to try for a while, and with basic understanding on what I want and have to do, I know I will be up for the challenge of being shopkeeper. Although I may have little experience ICly on how to handle the shop aspects, OOCly, I have the control, authority, and confidence to run my restaurant smoothly, knowing I can handle any situation that may come by me with a strong certainty, and that will only continue to grow as, if I were to be accepted, as I learn every aspect of the faction, learning what I need to do with ease.
By joining the shopkeeper faction, I want to be able to create something that stems from my passion for creating long lasting relations, impacting those around me in a positive manner. Although in the short run, that may seem like a funny excuse, but in RP, something may happen in Tsuki no Umi that will create a memory that will last forever, and I want to provide that.
To add to everything, being shopkeeper would also mean I could be interactive with SRP on more than just my judge character, bringing more to SRP and Karakura as it not only allows me to interact with SRP, but it allows others to do the same.
What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?:
Exterior:
“A walk on the beach at night… It makes me feel like a seagal, free to fly with the breeze.. I also like bread.” - Ito Tachitsu.
The exterior, built sleek, almost modern, with major details of traditional Japanese architecture. Guests will be welcomed to a large circle door, symbolizing the moon, welcoming them to theirexperience by the sea basked in the moonlight. “Tsuki no Umi” will be based as if you were taking a
walk along the beach at night, a gentle yet romantic night met at all times of the day, though, the best experience happens when the sun goes down.
* the gentle sound of water rushing as you step inside meets your ears. *
Interior:
As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by one of our staff, ready to get you seated. Guest’s will step over a small stepping stone path, a fountain trailing water through the ground, bringing a live aspect of an estuary, a river meeting the sea. All throughout the restaurant will be dimly lit lights, a tint of blue to welcome more water like aspects, along with murals, paintings, and other means of art scattered about the restaurant, pulling everything together.
As it stands, the seafood aspect has not been brought into an SRP restaurant, and although seafood isn't the overall popular food by choice, it certainly is something some people enjoy, and I want those who enjoy seafood to be able to have something they enjoy noticed. Not only will "Tsuki no Umi" bring in seafood for our seafood lovers, but other foods that will also hit the other guests, allowing a wide range of enjoyment.
While there is a wide range of loud and bold restaurants, such as Club Umbra, I would like to welcome another calming restaurant for those who need peace from their lives, a safe place people can come to enjoy food, drinks, and occasional dancing, and what's more calming than the ocean just as the sun set, as the tide recedes back into the ocean, a calm breeze, yet a breeze that shows it's power just as I want "Tsuki no Umi" to present itself, calming yet able to handle any challenges.
* Anything about the restaurant's design can be changed if it doesn't fit standards. *
Ambiance:
In my option, another important factor to a restaurant is its music, it's what bring in the entire place and make it truly "Tsuki no Umi." Pulling this from other events that I've been to with music, upon entry, there will be a link for those who wish to click it with music on Watch2Gether. This, of course, will be optional, but clicking it will allow guests and employees alike to get a true feel of "Tsuki no Umi."

This music is purely for the ambiance, no words, just subtle, gentle music that adds more water, ocean aspects to our makeshift oasis, a dreamscape, bringing the ocean to land.
What will you sell in your shop?:
* As you opened the “Tsuki no Umi” menu, the seafood lovers basked in glory… What a sight! *
With “Tsuki no Umi” being based by the sea, most of the food will be seafood based, being our main focus and something Japan as a whole enjoys, you can't go anywhere without seeing a seafood stand on the side of a bustling street. "Tsuki no Umi" welcomes some Japanese seafood delicacies along with other cultures such as American and British delicacies which also brings in a foreign aspect. Other fish foods such as all the cooked fish, shrimp, and squid will also be sold.
Other items will be added to welcome the guests that aren’t seafood lovers, such as Filet Mignon, cheese and pepperoni pizza, and mozzarella sticks, allowing a wide range of guests to eat their own safe food to their hearts content.
Possible customs?:
“Nigiri”:
A neatly crafted and decorated set of sushi, all hand made here at Tsuki no Umi, placed on a platter.
“Sashimi”:
An assortment of different raw fish, shellfish, and meat, neatly assorted and placed on a plate, accompanied by a small bowl of wasabi and soy sauce.
“Sea Breeze ****tail”:
A ****tail made of Shochu, Blue Curaçao, pineapple juice, lime juice, sea salt around the edge, and
pineapple wedge!
“Fruit Blend - Alcohol Free Sake”:
A sake made with soda water, alcohol free sake, orange juice, grenadine, topped with an orange wedge, cherries, and mint.
What are some possible events?:
“Night of the Rising Tides - Live music and dancing.”
An event that showcases live music, preferably traditional music that’s slow, soft, and calming to go along with the rest of the restaurant. To go along with the calming music, a traditional water dance could be performed or they could be separate events.
Although this may be an overused event or concept, having live music and dancers would always bring in a more lively and interactive aspect to Tsuki no Umi. To go further, we could also partner with businesses who have live singers, actors and/or dancers to not only get them some extra yen, or to even spread the word of these organizations. It allows for both organizations to grow.
The restaurant will shift to allow a small stage for those playing the live music, and an open area for the dancers while the guests sit around them, allowing them a good view of the show before them.
“****tail Workshop - Make your own drink.”
In this event, we would have a couple workers who knew a good amount of the drinks they were serving to teach them how to make our signature ****tail. This, of course, would be a 21+ event, a set amount of time set aside for those who want away from the kids to enjoy their favorite dishes and beverages at Tsuki no Umi while also having the chance to make Tsuki no Umi’s Sea Breeze ****tail.
For this event, the restaurant will have a larger table set aside from the other tables, an employee on one side, and guests on the other. The employee will showcase how our signature drink is made while also, for those who pay for the drink, allowing those guests to pay to make it themselves.
How many employees do you plan to have?:
As it stands right now, I would like to keep Tsuki no Umi’s staff at a minimal, so having the following,
Owner - 1
pvchiekisq_.
Managers - 2

Greeters - 4

What will each employee do and their goal at Tsuki no Umi?:
Owner -
My job as the owner has various definitions. For starters, my job will be to make sure, when the restaurant is open, that it runs smoothly, that every employee working is well and not running into problems with guests or fellow employees. To follow, inventory. I have to make sure that inventory is kept up with and stocked for the following days and openings, or we’ll have problems over all, from not being able to open if it’s severe enough, and thus, losing quota.
My goal as the owner at Tsuki no Umi is to make sure Tsuki no Umi is hearing from guests and employees alike to make sure our restaurant is the best it can be for the guests stopping in and the workers working here. I want to be able to provide the best experience when stepping inside the doors.
Managers -
Managers are the second hand of the owner, being there for the restaurant, guests, and employees if the owner can’t be there in person. Like the owner, they will handle any complaints or trouble the guests or employees run into while at Tsuki no Umi, making sure the restaurant is running smoothly in place of the owner if I am not available.
The manager's goal, along with the owner, is to hear the guests and employees, making sure they have the best experience they could possibly have.
Greeters -
Greeters, as said in the name, will stand in the front of the restaurant ready to greet guests as they walk in, figuring out how many people are in your party before seating you. The greeter will then return to the front in a rotation. If one were to leave to sit someone, another will step in, leaving to sit another group as the first greeter returns then run the cycle once more.
The greeter’s goal is to ensure guests have a great first impression of Tsuki no Umi, welcoming the guests to the best of their ability to ensure that Tsuki no Umi is an amazing experience.
Waitstaff -
Waitstaff will take and bring orders for guests once they are seated. Once they collect the order, they will go back to the storage to collect and calculate the correct amount and total price and that the guest paid that said amount before handing the items over. Much like restaurants in person, waitstaff will have sections of the restaurant they will serve, this factor can change depending on what’s easier for those working.
Waitstaff's goal, similar to the other’s, which could be called Tsuki no Umi’s goal over all, is to make sure that guests are welcomed, treated well, and are having a good time at Tsuki no Umi.
What will Tsuki no Umi’s uniforms look like?:
I have provided an example of what the uniforms will look like, the uniform will vary per position, but this color scheme and look will be the general idea. Every uniform will have blue coordinated into it, tying everything together, from the building, interior, to the uniform.
The uniforms are bound to change depending on what else I can find, if I can find something that fits "Tsuki no Umi's" theme a bit better, but for now, the image below is all I have.
