I have college three days a week, which means I have a whole lot of free time. I’m usually on the server every single day, for a decent amount of hours. This was due to me being the previous Cheer Captain, however now that I no longer have that as a priority, I am looking for something new to occupy and give all of my attention to.

What experiences do you have with Detail RP?:
Well, as previously mentioned, I was the HS Cheer Captain for months. If you are unfamiliar with the details of that role, it basically means I was in charge of organizing my team’s routines that were performed at the pep rally and tournaments. This meant I spent a long time writing, I would usually write one routine per week. Not only was I the cheer captain, I was on the cheer team for over a year. During this time, I gained experience with personalized and detailed roleplay. I am now confident in my ability to perform well and construct cleverly written pieces for roleplay. This is now my only experience, I am also in the event team, which requires more writing than you might think. We write all of our own actions for major events. If you know me, you know I love to write google docs for my personal events. That means I do a lot of background writing that nobody ever sees. This is the same for the Theatre Club I run. I write scripts and actions for my club to perform on stage. Lastly, I was previously in EMS thus I am aware of the standard that writing must be for the role, I think you will find that I am very successful with my writing.
What is your motivation to apply for EMS and how will you benefit our current team?:
This is going to sound silly, but I am a huge fan of Grey's Anatomy. This show is based within a hospital, the characters all being surgeons. I just finished season 16 of the show, and it’s made me fall in love with the idea of EMS again! If you remember, when I left KPD I had just become Cheer Captain. It mainly meant the Captain role took priority as it required my attention the most. However, now that is no longer an issue for me, I want to find a new interest to put all of my time into. I especially want to join a faction that requires a lot of work and attention to detail. I want to feel busy all of the time, much like I did with KPD. I am also wanting to take a step back from student roleplay a little bit as I feel it has caused a lot of drama and friendships falling a part recently for me. This is something that has made me overall stressed and upset as of late, thus I am taking the steps to remove myself completely from the situation from the time being. I believe I will strive in EMS as I am also already familiar with the faction too. Also if you have never watched Grey’s Anatomy, go watch it, it’s amazing.

Specify your knowledge for the role you’re applying for:
Surgeons play a heavy duty role within the hospital. They are the ones who have authority and privileges to operate on patients, unlike the other roles. Surgeons must evaluate and treat to the best of their ability, and often are called upon for a consult or surgery if the situation requires it. Surgeons can be assisted by Doctors, however they are the only people who should be holding the scalpel. They are the ones who lead the team through an operation, and call all of the shots. They also can do regular examinations, like a doctor can do.
Categorize all the functions of the EMS and tell us what each of them does:
Director: The head of the hospital, the chief of all those employed within the building. They decide who is hired and who is fired. They handle the details of running the hospital, and the employees who work there. They also decide on who is promoted to roles such as…
Clinical Manager: The right hand man of the Director. They help where they are needed, and are also the boss of the clinical leads in the hospital. If there is an issue, clinical leads should turn to this manager, before the Director. They must also invigilate the hospital exams of the trainees.
Clinical Leads: The heads of each department. There are three Clinical leads in total, for psychiatrists, doctors and surgeons. They are the boss of those three departments, and handle training for the newest employees. They are expected to help out depending on what their manager needs, however mostly see to their own departments. Much like the managers, they must invigilate the hospital exams, as well as help train.
Department Heads: The higher ups of the departments. They must also help with training and presume usual EMS duties. They must treat patients much like Clinical leads and make sure their department is doing their job properly.
Attending: They are expected to do their duties as a surgeon/doctor/psychiatrist as well as train the newer co-workers within their department. This will be managed by the clinical leads who focus on their own departments, and watched over by the clinical manager.
Surgeons/Doctors/Psychiatrists: Usually either trainees or simply not promoted, however they must go through training, pass their exam and treat patients as usual with the knowledge they’ve gained throughout their training.

Yes, one hundred percent. Like I mentioned previously, I have no other major roles that require a lot of attention at this time. I want to be very much dedicated and mainly focus on being a surgeon if given the opportunity.

I can assure you I will be there! Totally understood.

CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Tell us about your character; how do they look, what makes them unique?
Ide Zaiaku was a scrawny man, who stood at a confident five-foot-nine. His ghostly features matched the long white hair that shined glossily. He looked drained of any and all vitamins and nutrition he once had. He carried normalised purple carrier bags sat under his eyes, hinting at his exhaustion most days. Zaiaku ran on coffee, black. Zaiaku also ran on other drinks, after working hours of course. . perhaps that is why he looks so unwell. Not so much of a role model surgeon. Well, his technique is flawless, that couldn’t be denied. Zaiaku was not a perfectionist in much of his life, however surgery? He took work very seriously. This was life or death after all.
What are they like on and off the job?
On the job, Zaiaku didn’t mess around. He was happiest in an OR, breaking skin and mending whatever needed fixing. He almost always had a piping hot cup of coffee in his hands, an addict of sorts. That was not his only addiction. . however we will get to that later. Although he didn’t look the friendliest, he got on with his fellow EMS workers, not overly rude. He had no intentions of bad relations with his co-workers, they’d be spending a lot of time together after all. Zaiaku likes his space to breathe sometimes, escaping from the death, the hurt. It’s not like he couldn’t handle seeing all of that, he trained for it, he rather wanted to escape his running mind. Perhaps that’s where the drinking problem started.
Outlook on their co-workers? Plans for the future?
As mentioned before, he had a neutral relationship with his co-workers and planned to keep it that way, he’ll get along fine with whoever as long as nothing turns sour. He finds it easier to open up and make friends when he's had a drink, and is in fact a bit of a mute without one. His plans for the future are… undecided. He’s not got any plans for the future, in fact his plans for the future was this: surgery. Now he’s here, the checklist is complete. Well, for now anyway. I’m sure something interesting will creep up on him and grasp his attention eventually, winding him even.

BACKSTORY
Ide Zaiaku grew up in Kyoto, Japan. A busy household that hadn’t cared much for him at all. The details of his home growing up he keeps quiet, really quiet. However, it was safe to say that it was not the stereotypical happy family that you’d wish for. Ide grew up around a harsh group of people he was forced to be family with. Family to him simply means those you are born into, not those you care, love or cherish. Zaiaku had very few people he cherished, a lone wolf most of his life. Despite the conditions he was brought up in, he worked hard. Mainly so he could escape the mad house of hell as he called it. His grades were good and he was out of the house most of the time, studying or simply socialising with the wrong crowd. He didn’t care for the people he hung out with either, not really. He cared for the alcohol they provided him with, but that was about it. After years of keeping his head down, and being as quiet as a mouse about it, he had raised enough money to move. Not just move out, move towns.
Zaiaku moved to Karakura as fast as he could, it was a smaller and discrete town. A lot of people he could patch up due to the crime rates. He had seen violence at home, this wouldn’t be an issue for him. In fact he tended to get into quite a few bar fights himself, not intentionally of course, it was mostly the drink talking for him. He probably spoke the most after a couple of drinks, to be honest. Either way, he packed his bags and moved to Karakura, with a medical degree and a chance to start his life. He is still quite the quiet man, usually just observing, speaking when spoken to. Of course that doesn’t interfere with his work, in fact he’s a whole other person in the hospital, it’s like Zaiaku fades away. The man has quite the attitude, especially when things are looking difficult. He was a difficult man himself, who grew up in difficult circumstance. I wonder how long it'll take for him to crack?
