1.21.1 Update
As you all know, SchoolRP currently runs version 1.19 which is now over 2 years old! Since then, there are many new mobs, blocks, features, and items added to Minecraft that we'd love for you to be able to utilise on the server within your roleplay.

There will be a short scheduled downtime as we move to 1.21.1 on the 27th of September at 6pm BST. As you'd imagine, this update will require us to have roughly 30 minutes - 1 hour downtime whilst we upload the updated versions of our plugins and ensure everything is working as it should be.

We will be posting periodic updates during the downtime to keep you informed about how far along we are, as well as when you'll be able to re-connect via our Discord server in #announcements.

Do I need to change my Minecraft Version?
We'd strongly recommend updating your version and mods to the latest version (Currently 1.21.1) for the best experience on the server. This will allow you to see different blocks and entities around the map.

In a couple of weeks, we will be completely dropping support for versions below 1.19.4 as the new entities we'll be using cannot be displayed on lower versions. We understand that for some this may be disappointing, however the majority of common Mods are currently available to download for 1.21.1.
What about my Mods?
You should update them along with your client! You can find updated versions online, however we've created a short list of links for mods that we know are popular to use on our server. click here for help updating your mods.
What is new in this version?
There's a bunch of new mobs which may be utilisated for events, as well as entities which will replace our current Furniture entities which should both improve performance and their hitbox. Alongside this, there are a plethora of new blocks, inlcuding: Bamboo Wood, Cherry Wood, Pots, Hanging Signs, Pink Petals, Pitcher Plants, More Copper Blocks, and much more!

UPDATE SUMMARY
15th May 2021

SENIOR LEADERSHIP & SCHOOL

- Held KHS' first Exam for Highschool students.

- Block protection updates added for roles; [Teacher], [Professor], etc.

- An Senior Leadership sheet was created to track disciplinary logs across the board.

- Major discord changes to roles, etc. (Unhoisted most & Recoloured the rest).

- Changed the nickname system in Discord for a cleaner member list.

- Updated many school builds (Bathrooms, Halls, Classrooms & Faction areas).

- Created a system to raise money for events and equipment.

- Created new Mascot/Lifeguard application form for future.

- Student of the month has been rebooted.

HIGHSCHOOL TEACHER

- All classrooms were updated to include new models to fit 28 students minimum.

- Implemented new training system alongside an Untrained Teacher role [UT].

- Updated the format to include UT role and training questions.

- Teacher's Lounge, Gymnasium stage & Detention room no longer require requested perms (BlockLocker).

- Updated roster to include which club they're supervising.

- Added clear guidelines for confiscating items.

- Added faculty entrance to the rear gate.

COLLEGE PROFESSOR

- Brand-new detention log sheet introduced & Removal of college-disciplinary-logs

- Implemented new training system alongside an Untrained Professor role [UP]

- Added college-faculty-requests channel.

- Added faculty entrance to the rear gate.

SCHOOL EMPLOYEE

- All employee stations were updated to include new models and fit the new theme.

- Added permissions for all Employees to access the main Nurse office door for drunk students, etc.

- Command-sign was added to the front desk for new players (Academics Discord)

- Opened up rear-side Janitor's closet & Reception desk.

- Employee Lounge & Detention room no longer require requested perms (BlockLocker)

- Added faculty entrance to the rear gate.

- Added clear guidelines for confiscating items.

- Re-organised the library system.

- Added back some of the older In-Character roles (Assistant, Auxiliary, etc.)

COUNCIL, CLUBS & SPORTS

- Moved Club Applications to the forums.

- Updated ALL club rooms and made use of the left-hand hallway for more club rooms.

- Allowed teachers & professors to supervise clubs.

- Categorised clubs by 'Official' & 'Unofficial', both with separate perks.

- Deleted Karakura Clubs Discord and moved into Academics.

- Set guidelines for club events and planning.

- Updated club rosters.

- Updated the detention log system to work with the faculty system.

- Presidents now have access to /intercom for detention, etc.

- Updated Council room & added a confiscated items chest.

- Deleted Student Council Discord.

- Updated council rosters.

- Updated sports rosters.

EXAMINATION & DEAN

With the end of our first year's examination, students anxiously await for results.. Those who've succeeded are welcomed into Karakura College with open arms, to continue on their academic career!

However they are expected to enter college under rule of a new dean. Donny Ark (WiffyBanter) after his years of service to Karakura's Academic system has decided to sadly step down from any and all related positions.

We'd like to thank both him & the entire school staff for their service this year & the many before, not one bit has gone unnoticed.
