New features
9th December 2021

SERVER UPDATES

- Our Phones plugin has been completely re-made with new features & models, including an all-new Smart Phone with a separate operating system. [CLICK HERE]

- Proper texting has been added to phones which also allows offline messaging.

- Auction House is now fully stable & re-enabled to allow players to sell their used goods. [CLICK HERE]

- We're now making use of our SchoolRP Discord to announce important updates. [CLICK HERE]

- The Map has been changed to snow for the Winter season.

- The new 'Snow Shovel' item allows players to swiftly clear the snow off of any surface. [CLICK HERE]

- Our door protection system has been upgraded to do a better job at managing & protecting your room's doors. [CLICK HERE]

- We added the new command /payreq which allows players to request money, similar to our payto system. [CLICK HERE]

- Changed the effect glocks have on players; being shot will slow you down, then completely stun you if you're shot again. [CLICK HERE]

- We have re-added our Media-Team to produce content & graphics for SchoolRP platforms. [CLICK HERE]

- Completed maintenance on the printer plugin which will now prevent inappropriate books from being copied.

COMMUNITY TEAM UPDATES

- The role of 'Media-Team' has been added to the Community teams roster & Applications have opened.

- The Lore-Team have pushed lore for the lore blocks around the map, look for the ! heads around the map for more information.

- A new trello board has been added for the Modelling team to allow for more transparency [CLICK HERE]

SCHOOL FACTION UPDATES

- Teachers & Professors can have 'custom' class layouts via contacting Builders.

- Professors now have access to the /class commands.

- Detentions are set to automatically notify students at 15:00.

- School records have been fully implemented, use /record to view your own.

- School faculty are now involved in all major events, alongside councillors.

- The school's hotline number has been changed to: 0205555555.

- The Winter tournaments have been fully scheduled for this month.

CITY FACTION UPDATES

- Police now have proper Glock Ammunition items & a reloading feature on their gun to prevent them bypassing the ammo limitations.

- The Hospital has gone through further re-model, removing unnecessary departments, rooms & floors.

- The Ambulance vehicle has been fixed completed and a third seat has been added for patients.

- More Shops have been added to the shopping district.

- Verified Gangs & Organizations have been added back to the SchoolRP Discord.

- Shrine roles have been reverted back to [Maiden] & [Priest] to avoid confusion.

- The Shrine will allow weddings, funerals & rituals to be hosted there this month.

- Priests can now offer martial art courses to players that wish to take them.

- Management & Pricing for Executive Properties have changed.

SERVER UPDATES

- After quite sometime, we isolated the issues relating to item glitches and have successfully patched them. [CLICK HERE]

- Lockers have been added back to the school, you can purchase one permanently for ¥20,000. [CLICK HERE]

- Radios have been introduced to the Emergency & School faction for In-Character communication instead of our previous In-Character voice channels which provided KPD with an advantage [CLICK HERE]

- We have re-added our Wardrobe system, allowing you to change your Minecraft skin on the fly [CLICK HERE]

- We have moved our Staff & Community Team rosters over to the forums, alongside given all members a special role [CLICK HERE]

- Anyone with a donation rank will bypass the automatic announcements/advertisements every 10 minutes [CLICK HERE]

- Introduced a built-in class system for College Students using the familiar /class join command & All messages are now clickable [CLICK HERE]

- Added a /playtime command which you can use to accurately view your time spent on the server.

COMMUNITY TEAM UPDATES

- The role of 'Developer' has been added to the Community teams roster, this role is only obtainable via contacting the owner.

- 'Event Zones' have started to be added to Karakura, allowing random events to occur on the map more frequently in specific environments.

- All teams are now capped at 10 members each.

SCHOOL FACTION UPDATES

- Suspensions will now automatically expire without the need of a role change. Check your suspension length with the /suspension command.

- Teacher & Professor class logs are now integrated with the in-game class system, automatically logging classes after they've ended.

- Classroom signs now automatically update upon username changes.

- Teachers are no longer sent to spawn after using /class end

- Teachers & Professors must now reach 10 classes per month for a total of ¥350,000 (+¥50,000 for every 5 classes after, maximum ¥500,000)

- Lore on Karakura Highschool & Community College has been posted on the forums [CLICK HERE]

- Each faculty role & Council (vice)president receives a radio upon joining.

- New exams are to be created for both Highschool & College Bachelors wishing to progress.

- Demurity has been given the role of Student Council & Club faction lead

- riyako has been given the role of School Employee faction lead

CITY FACTION UPDATES

- Riot gear now gives Police Officers possessing a Glock an additional magazine for reloading.

- Officers must take an exam to be promoted In-Character.

- The Hospital's Pharmacy will now open somewhat frequently using the in-game advert system.

- A floor has been removed from the hospital to reduce the unnecessary size of the building.

- All Emergency workers now receive an in-game radio & Their own player-attached callsign.

- /advert cooldown has been lowered from 30 minutes to 15 minutes.

- Shop applications will re-open during this month.

- The Shop cap has been raised to 20 shops.

- Players can now receive court-ordered protective custody up until their trial date.

- Lawyers will soon be allowed to appear with clients during police interrogations.

- A new rule has been created to cap Verified Gangs to a maximum of 50 members.

- A command & logging system has been created for taxing players, this is done by taking their money straight from the economy, rather than keeping it inside of a player-owned bank account.

SERVER UPDATES

- Our /help command has been re-made into a ticket system to help the staff team provide better support for players, even when you're offline. [CLICK HERE]

- We have completely re-done our in-game tutorial with brand-new buttons and features [CLICK HERE]

- A new 'lore' system was implemented to create interactive blocks/signs to learn more about Karakura's lore [CLICK HERE]

- We have added /setdesc to the appending messages system for all players to allow players to have extra long descriptions [CLICK HERE]

- Our tab plugin has been re-made and fixed so all roles show up in the correct sections & in order [CLICK HERE]

- We have built a new warehouse & powerplant which is now known as the 'criminal hotspot' in Karakura & Introduced danger zones [CLICK HERE]

- Creative restrictions have changed to only Community Team & Property owner via a new region lock system which helps the staff team better monitor those using Creative mode

COMMUNITY TEAM UPDATES

- The Build Team can now build anywhere on the map without having to be supervised.

- The Build Team now receive access to a restricted warp for projects.

- The Lore Team are working on tons of new lore to push with our new lore interaction system.

SCHOOL FACTION UPDATES

- Student Council now have the responsibility of the planning & execution of the School's 'Wild Card' events.

- Student Council & Photography Club have released the first school yearbook! [CLICK HERE]

- The Professor training system has been re-introduced, including the Untrained Professor role.

- Qualified Teachers can now switch subjects every three months without re-applying.

- The School's public phone number has now been advertised around Karakura for adults to contact the school (012033799).

- College & Highschool Sports teams now have a new logging system

CITY FACTION UPDATES

- The Hospital have been given access to advertise when the Pharmacy is open for trade.

- The Hospital Nurse role has been re-introduced.

- Visiting times at the KPD have been upped to 20 IC Minutes/5 OOC Minutes

- The KPD now have 'search warrants' for situations regarding person or property in coordination with the Government faction.

- A system for Lawyers to be called into the KPD to aid clients held in questioning/interrogation is being worked on.

- The In-Character role of 'Attorney General' has been created due to the influx of lawyers.

- A verified gang application format has been setup.

- Verified gang members will soon have their own small paychecks managed by their gang leader.
