Announcement Patch Notes - May 19th, 2022

Patch Notes • 3.54
Back-end, we've been worked on some miscellaneous updates in preparations for the new In-Character Social Media website and in-game app that our development team is currently working on. Alongside this, the event team hosted their annual purge event, with the many other events that occurred on the server itself hosted by our event team, staff, and players.
Server Changes
Below is a list of implemented changes made to SchoolRP within the last month.
Updates
- We updated our Phones plugin with new features.
- An App store has been added to the smart phone.
- The Games App has been re-added with the brand-new multiplayer mode.
- You can 1v1 your friends in multiplayer mode.
- You can now re-arrange your home screen lay-out by clicking shift & left-click on an app.
- You can now uninstall and re-install any app from the app store.
- The forums has been updated in some areas.
- The staff roster has been re-organised with the relevant slots added to each team.
- We plan to change and add additional reactions to the current layout sometime next month.
- The 'Members' button is now a drop down which will take you to all of the relevant pages.
- The SchoolRP online map has been updated to include all of the recent map changes. This will continue to be manually updated every 3-6 months.
- The new I.D system is now being enforced and businesses, police, etc. will no longer accepted just doing "/me shows I.D" unless you have the item alongside it.
- The new In-Character Social Media, previously known as 'ONRAIN' has been heavily worked on by our development team. (see a teaser in the spoiler below)
- The end product for this will include in-game integration with phones, each account being tied to your Minecraft Username and a password you set.
- Players will be allowed multiple profiles on their accounts on the website for businesses, characters, etc.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the smart phone's home button not working on some menus.
- The 'Social Media' button the forums no longer leads you to an broken webpage.

Faction & Community Changes
Below is a list of changes made to server factions within the last month by our faction leaders.
School Factions
- The School Spring Dance has been moved to the 28th of May.
- Spring School Examinations are scheduled for the 21st of May.
- The Journalist club has released their very first school news paper, named 'The Karakura Chronicle'.
- School Council will host their own school assemblies bimonthly.
- With Summer just around the corner, Lifeguard and Mascot roles are being re-introduced to promote roleplay and support upcoming events.
City Factions- Police guidelines for assault charges have been modified to make it fairer for people who fight consensually.
- Glock-17 guidelines have been changed to make it easier to aim and reduced chat flooding.
- Players will now have to serve community service if they cannot pay a fine, rather than serving jailtime.
- Hospital appointments have been removed due to the lack of use.
- Unverified gangs can now initiate wars with verified ones to take their position on the verified gangs roster, and their land.
- Black Market Dealers are starting to crack done on weapon resellers.
- Four new gangs have been added to the unverified gang roster.
- Only verified gangs are permitted to own an area in Karakura.
- The bounty system has been re-introduced in the Crime Discord.
- The Crime faction now work closely with the Fight Club.
- The Crime faction has received an interim lead: Prosthettics.
- Black Market Dealer tax has been increased to 20% to make it more fair, and to help the ever-growing economy.
- Governor slots have been upped to 6.
- Judge slots have been changed to 4.
- Judges can now earn up to ¥300,000.
- Lawyer and Judge quotas have been changed to increase the likelihood of pay.
- Shop workers & shopkeepers are now required to check I.Ds via the new system and will no longer accepted "/me shows I.D".
- The Shrine faction now involves training when new members are accepted onto the faction.
- A classroom has been added for Shrine staff.
- The Shrine faction has received a new lead: TaxEvasionFraud.
- News Reports now only need to reach 5 reports to earn their monthly quota.
Community & Staff Team- The Lore team has been hard at work finishing off the primary Karakura lore which they aim to release in June.
- The Media team will begin work on new faction showcases later this month.
- The annual Purge event took place on the Event server.
- The Hot Spring event zone has been removed.
- The Mariner has been introduced as an event zone.
- Customable has been brought on as Moderator
