I'm completely against the fact that people can get KPS on cops for merely doing their job for a number of reasons, but that's how things currently work. I also don't agree with what Harriet said. GangRP does not (or at least shouldn't) revolve uniquely around the acquisition of permissions.
Whether or not you should gain KPS on a cop for shooting you with a taser should completely depend on the context, but the staff team (read "those who make the rules") can't give players the benefit of the doubt, mostly because this community has settled itself on the "let me check my rule book to see if I can move my arm 30 degrees to the right on this roleplay server" concept and can't really have the freedom to think by themselves without having to consult the rules. Systematical as it's always been.
Every suggestion that kills this concept, even if a little bit, will get a +1 from me.
