Describe your activity on the server:
While my activity is not perfect due to my job at the moment, which may frequently leave me exhausted and overwhelmed.. (and is presently being taken care of) I make great attempts to remain active on the server and the communities I surround myself in. I have been playing SRP for a very long time, and seek more motivation and interest to keep me on the server more frequently; Hence, attempting to bring myself back to council. I maintain various other responsibilities, whether it be shops, clubs or other activities I find myself interested in. Previously I had devoted myself briefly to the swim team, which I held high expectations for in terms of developing my writing and character. Regrettably, I had left unsatisfied, and am after new pursuits, having previously found myself much more satisfied previously in council than I tend to sports teams, with no fault of the faction itself. I am active and responsive 24/7 on Discord and am endlessly engaging with my communities and chats.
I have 22 weeks of playtime listed on my main account.

Are you aware that inactivity can result in removal from the council?:
Yes! I am completely willing to adhere to any punishment my own possible inactivity may cause for me.

TRIVIA QUESTIONS

What is the student council and what do they do?:

The student council is a collection of student-grade characters (whether in highschool or college) trusted in-character with similar duties to that of faculty. This may mean issuing out punishments, keeping an eye out for troublemakers, rabblerousers or similarly ill-intented mischief-makers. The student council is an entrusted group, given distinct capabilities above the average student body member. However, on top of these responsibilities, and distinct from the expectations of faculty, the student council is also entrusted and relied on to coordinate their own distinct events to keep the entertainment and morale of their fellow students, as well as manage and moderate these events. Occasionally, they are also relied upon to conduct fundraisers and similar drives, expected to be pillars in oncoming disaster when it may strike. The councillors are considered role-models within the school, and a more reliably empathetic counterpart to faculty intervention in the case of trouble.

What motivated you to apply for council? (e.g. Interests, friends, etc.):
My motivation towards pushing my character towards council is multi-layered. Having already been a part of council for two years, alongside temporarily holding the position of vice-president, I am well-aquainted with (previous) expectations and relevancy of council within SRP’s ecosystem. The idea of re-joining council was one that struck me with quite a bit of interest, being a new era with a new set of characters, possibilities and expectations. Council is, having been on it for so long, one of the factions I am most comfortable and experienced in, making me most excited to possibly re-aquaint myself within the modern group, and relieve some of my social anxieties when it comes to engaging on the server.
I hope to increase my motivation and drive for SRP, introducing myself to a familiar group of people in a both new and familiar context, and alongside friends, offers me new opportunity and motivation to engage myself further into my surroundings. Being already relatively acquainted with council allows me to comfortably find my place and engage openly, and far more confidently within my modern steps within the confines of council Alongside this, the prospect also allows some excitement character-wise, Aloise joining council allows more opportunities and a place for her character to develop.
i reignited a caffeine addiction to get this done within 2 days because i misread the deadline a brother is indeed motivated.
(locking everyone in the detention room and leaving)

Are you aware that you’ll be having to use your creativity and teamwork ethic within the student council? (e.g. Coming up and helping with events):
ABSOLUTEELY. I am most excited to assist with events, alongside day-to-day tasks.

Can you list the roles in the council along with other roles that might be important to the council?:

RoleRelevance
President
The head honcho, ringmaster and leader of the council. Dictated with both of which could be the responsibility and privilege of leading their respectively aged Student council body, divided between highschool and college. All grandiose decisions, punishments or consequences of council go through a mix of the presidents and SLT when necessary. They are the faces of their respective councils, and thereby hold the responsibility of which that might entail.
Vice-President
The second-honcho, and underdog to the president, but still holds respective responsibility over their councils. They assist the president with their responsibilities, and potentially even uphold their own distinct capabilities to keep the council running smoothly. They, of course, are in charge when the president is unavailable, and are expected to hold just as much (reasonable) dictation over their councillors as the president. Checks and balances at the throne.
Trainers (Additional role to select Councillors)
Soon to be my favorites (ideally :3), These councillors are responsible for training and educating the newer recruits to council, running them through rules, regulations and the guidebook. They choose this role after some time, and are entrusted with orientation and (temporarily) the newer councillors, until they have a proper handle on things.
Councillor body
The collective menaces. Day-to-day, storming around the school ensuring everyone is in line, and making half of an effort not to be hated by every other student on the premises. They are regarded as the role-models of the student body by faculty, and, as aforementioned, relied upon for event hosting as well as partially responsible for conducting rule-management while on premises.

SCENARIOS

While students gather for a school assembly, one student behaves disruptively, causing a disturbance. How would you manage the situation to restore order effectively while minimizing any additional disruptions to the assembly?

“Well- Of course, We’d. . have to do something. I’ve learned a lot of the time, these kinda of things are . a sort of, bid for attention.” She stares off for a moment, thinking about what exactly to do with this information in mind, or, what exactly she could even infer from the situation described. Eventually, she nods to herself; “So, if we want to stop something like this, directly and openly giving that attention- like stopping the assembly or .. drawing any kind of additional attention, is a bad idea. So, Dealing with the situation, quietly, or in the background, would be ideal.” Offering a small, pretend smile, she continues to think aloud. “And, It depends. . the kind of disturbance, if it’s accidental, it’s okay! And a quick chat should tidy everything neatly, without much more necessary.”
She begins to tap her shredded fingertips on the desk, growing uneasy at the thought of malice.Bbuuttt . . They could also be doing it on purpose.” She states the obvious, non-sunshine and rainbows alternative.Uhm, this might mean walking up to them, talking to them, quietly, of course, maybe some kind of warning, if it’s that bad, or letting them know they’re causing trouble or even trying to get them away from the assembly altogether, if things really go . . . that far. But, hopefully, none of that should be necessary.”

A student refuses to take their mask off after you’ve brought up detention and they’ve run away! What do you do?
Aahh.. well, uhm.. It’s.. unfortunate, but.. Common, I suppose.” She visibly cringes at the thought. She didn’t like confrontation very much, thinking carefully about her steps. Crime and punishment wasn’t much of her deal, nor her intent. She had to play her cards carefully; Instigation was a tricky thing. “Well. . I’d, ah, alert everyone else, first, about what is happening, andd. . give them a description of them, and their clothes, so there are multiple eyes around, for the person. I’m- usually pretty good at, finding things. . So, I’d keep looking while I go about my day- I keep my own eye out.. If I find them, I give them the detention slip, or- or maybe try to unmask them?” She hesitates, looking nervous at the prospect.
“One way orrr. . another. Uhm, no matter what, they. . should get a detention. If things really get worse, they, uhm. . have to escalate to larger punishments, like . . . gulp. . . SLT, I think. If they don’t take off the mask, ooorr. . run away again, or don’t show up to detention, but they have to be identified, uhm. . It- It depends, I think. . . On, how the rest of the situation goes, but . . generally. . We do what we can? Sometimes. . we just have to do . . our best, and, things aren’t always resolved into something so neat and tidy.” She looks anxious at her own response, despite a clear indication of her attempts at patience and resilience in her tone.

A teacher observes concerning behavior from a student, including the creation of disturbing artwork and verbal threats toward peers. How would you collaborate with the teacher to evaluate the situation and intervene appropriately to address potential safety concerns?
Her expression fell warm and malleable, empathetic. Clearly, this scenario meant something to her. Her hands fidget particularly on the table, as she devolves into something more cautious and reasoning. “Well, first. . I’d need to see the artwork. They say a lot of the time art .. comforts the disturb, and disturbs the comforted. It might be a reflection of the real problem, and give .. clearer answers, to, uhm, a solution. It might be depictions of hurting people, or an expression of their frustrations. I feel as if this might be potentially more of a problem for the … counselors in the school, to manage their mental troubles- before it becomes a problem of.. really hurting people. But, there are steps before we escalate to that, since, ahh.. escalating things immediately, might make the problem worse, or hand it to.. improper hands.”
What to do, what to do. . . Her hands rap against the table thoughtfully.
“We should, take this into account, the specifications of the threats, and the artwork.. It might go from an intervention, to a simple conversation. But, first and foremost, It should be communicated that their behavior is.. uhm, affecting people, and that threats, that they’re making .. aren’t acceptable. We offer new solutions, outlets. Positive reinforcement so they have the space and encouragement to do better. So we suggest they seek out CBT therapy, in the hospital, and .. offer them places they feel safe, and don’t have to threaten people to feel better.”
She pauses, looking embarrassed. “Sorry,- I’m, . . Majoring Psychology.”

A group of students asks for your permission to stage a protest on school grounds. Would you allow them to protest? If so, how do you ensure that the protest does not disrupt the school environment while upholding their freedom of expression?
She looks interested by the question, before the realization quickly dawned that she, herself, had to supply a answer, anxiety quickly eating away at excitement.
“Well-! Well, of course. . I think that people should be allowed to express themselves. Buutt.. Something so organized and public like this, has certain… ah… Stipulations. First and foremost, we should make sure they have an appropriate cause and intentions. We will need a detailed explanation of not only what exactly what they’re protesting for, but also what they might seek, in terms of.. an outcome.”
She draws in an inhale, closing her eyes as she pauses in thought, leaning back a moment in her seat before she exhaled, and continued, sewing her thoughts together into tangible words.
“Things like this need to be, almost.. hyper-organized, unfortunately. With the way protests usually seem to go, in the school or the city-“ side eye. “We need to make sure absolutely no danger, harm or devolvement could estrange from the original intent. It would be terrible if things went south, and these people got .. hurt. It’s our responsibility to make sure that doesn’t happen. Whether we stand for the cause or not, we are responsible for being involved for the sake of their safety and their expression. So, uhm. As much as it’s unfortunate, we may have to go through and monitor things, signs or slogans, or phrasings and make sure everything is perfectly harmless, so they can get their message across peacefully.”
She nods, feeling this would suffice.

A teacher/receptionist has told you that you are doing something that goes against what you were trained by your higher-ups. How would you react to this?
Aloïse gulped. Her worst nightmare…. confrontation. (was she really built for council? maybe. let’s see.) She felt herself get antsy at the premise. Ooohh. . . What WOULD she do? This was a part of her worst nightmare.
“Well. . . Uhm, I’d - I’d stop, whatever I was doing, first of course. I’d. . . reevaluate, but. . Ultimately, I might need a second opinion. I’d, ah. . apologize, of course, and maybe elaborate, what I was doing- If it was a misunderstanding. But, It- It’s probably not, ultimately worth it, what I was doing, if it’s. . causing problems. But, I’d probably ask over the talkie, really quick, maybe someone else would have a more defining idea. If- they say I AM . . right, then, I would let the faculty know, so they know. . the rules, properly, for the future. But- not- It’s not their fault, after all. . uhm. I wouldn’t mean to cause any problems, or- anything like that”
She pauses, looking panicked towards the table. The idea of messing up made her very visibly stressed. .
Maybe it’s a misunderstanding, or- likely, I am just . .. wrong. And that’s okay too! But, knowing the rules, and the training. . properly, is. . very important, so I would have to really make sure that things are. . clarified, just in case.”

Please provide at least one detailed event that the council can use as a future event to showcase your creativity!:

“People keep calling me the Easter bunny. I’m leaning into it.”
4V4iWZO.gif

Welllll.. it's .. March?

A rather simplistic event, with potential for fun and chaos alike.

The event concept is easy, though may have some complications in regards to functionality. Think of the old present hunt during Christmas, replace it with eggs. Students scoop up a basket, and scour and hunt through the school, searching for 100 eggs, hidden in various (potentially very weird..) places. When clicked, the counter goes up. 1/100 eggs, 2/100 eggs. Boy, that’s a lot of eggs. .

One egg, Two egg, Blue egg. - Is that egg glowing?

Some eggs might even cause weird, comedic effects when found, offering buffs or debuffs. Speed, Slowness. Your character is given a drunk effect. Your controls are now reversed for 10 minutes. We’re min-maxxing. No matter the strategy, all the eggs must be found, or the world is going to explode You won’t get a cool and awesome reward!!!! Teams are permitted, being of course, inevitable. However, only one group or person can get first place. First place reward is awesome. Maybe they get class credits, or like a cool chair or something. But only one group can get it. Amp up that competition. Second and third are cool, but you aren't the best. The event could take a day. Weeks. However long it takes. All. Eggs. Must. Be. Found.

There's an Easter bunny walking around too. He's spouting riddles. The riddles lead to eggs. or maybe he's just trolling. Who knows. Solve the riddles, first place depends on it. Maybe you already found those eggs, though. Maybe he's hiding some. There's also actual rabbits all over the school. There’s a giant inflatable egg taking up a quarter of the school roof. People are worried it might start rolling like an indiana jones scene. This is starting to feel less of an event and more like incited chaos. Who cares. It's Easter.

How would you describe your personality?:
“You know, I. . . Feel like a lot of people don’t know me very well. Though, I. . uhm. Don't think I know myself very well either. Maybe you should ask someone else. . ah. I wouldn't have much of an idea. People sayy. . I'm very nervous, over things. Which I agree with, and uhm. . That I'm weird, and tall. But that's not .. much of a personality. I think I could say that I do. . care about things, an awful lot. I spend a lot of time caring about things. But I suppose that's. . still saying that I'm nervous. I like bunnies, and, err. . . fashion, and sewing, and making clothes. Sort of. I like to be around my friends, aaannd. . I'm not much of a fan of this city, but I'm too deep in to leave now. Appearance/attire (Please provide a picture):
AC9JJww.gif

[In-Game Description]
A warm, yet conflicted presence, drawing people closer like a comforting fire. Aloise's anxious pink passings leave a trace of cheap, sugary perfume that contrasts her tall and muscular form, unintentionally abrasive in her natural masculinity and height, yet softened by an idle puppy-eyed pout. His face is dusted with freckles and scars, with scruff on her chin. He peers through her glasses as though tired and worn-down, like a once-loved plush rabbit.

Guillotined by being seated in the chair, her overbearing 7'0 form is crumpled anxiously during the interview. Panicked, dull eyed and embodied by pale, freckled skin. She has a deep scar on her neck, masked by her obnoxious handmade bow that sat intentionally in front of it. Aloïse spoke with a foreign accent (As did, likely everyone else) implying that she was in some regard, French(unfortunately), despite what her last name would imply. She looked entirely masculine at her base, despite her assumingly femininely reserved demeanor and the way she was slathered in pink, it could be assumed it only meant the world to her, or nothing at all. She proudly sported foam bunny ears on her head, and eyed around through glasses that gave her almost a mature look, despite looking like she'd walked out of a cutesy pink cartoon. She'd reeked with ambivalence in this way, caught eternally between two worlds.
She’s not wearing shoes.

What separates you from other applicants seeking your position?:
"Separates me? You know, I usually feel separated from..... other people ................. I don't think that's usually much of a good thing though."
Long pause. she might've kicked something under the table.
"Uhm. . . Well, besides. . Certainly, having my distinctions- .. " She pauses again, self-awareness eating her alive. "I feel like, uhm, like I said. . I care an awful lot about people, my fellow students, my friends. I'm going to college, pre-med, and then I'm hoping to go into psychiatry, as an adult. What I mean, basically, is that I care. . a lot about people, and, I hope to use, whether it be, medical practice, orr. . council power, for good, obviously. I hope to make the school an easier place to want to wake up and go to. I know people tend to. . struggle, more than usual, in this city. And I hope to work for my peers to find school an . . easier place to be. I know it's hard being shackled in a building all day. So, whether it be - events, or even just talking and engaging- I hope to make it a warmer place. I'm not very good with talking, or anything like that, so I will . . do all that I can."

Why do you want this position?:
“Well. I’d. . . Like to help! Like I said, I'd like to make sure that I .. use the full power, of what I can do, to make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe at school. I think it would be. . maybe, a good next step, especially if I want to go into a medical field, I want to. . make sure I'm able to talk, and eer. . deal with people, maybe better than I . . do, already. So maybe it is a little about me, too .. Well, it’s supposed to be, anyway, I suppose… I want to do good for people. Don’t we all? I feel like that’s the point, at least.”

What interests you the most about student council?:
Interests me? Uhm.. besides the people, of course. I think the things I’m most happy to get involved with aaarree.. helping with events, and maybe spending time with more people. I’m not too into all the punishment.. detention stuff, But! It’s a sacrificial responsibility I will, uhm.. certainly do my best to uphold, of course. I’m happy to do what’s needed of me. I feel myself being more drawn to the justice aspect of it, if anything. I.. don’t want people to be hurt, so, I can be a part of the people to.. help prevent, things like that. To help people feel better about things, like I’ve said, that’s mostly where my interest lies. That's sort of why I want to be here.”

What could you contribute to make the school a safe and fun environment?:
"Contribute. . Oh, Well. . As I've said, I hope to make people feel safe and comfortable - as I always do. I . . hope to guide new students, and make people feel accounted for, where I can. I'm happy to sacrifice my time and efforts to make people feel comfortable when asked - or not asked, to. I really want to do . . whatever might lay out in front of me, to help my peers. I'm happy to come up with solutions, when they're needed, and I want to see the best for the environment. Guiding events, or situations. . Whether it's really the bigger or smaller things, I'm happy to contribute whatever might be needed. Anything in my power.”
