Describe your activity on the server:
My activity on the server depends. On a scale of 1-10, it ranges around 8. This is because of my ongoing degree, as well as having to focus on assignments and homework, as well as some other personal things I can explain further in DMS if it comes to happen. However, I am mostly online during the weekends or during my breaks. I’m also only a DM away, so I can always hop on if it's required at that moment, of course, depending on whether I am busy or not.

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I have experienced different roleplays, this is with or without the different roles. I detailrped from the smallest things to the biggest. That comes from being a receptionist, Nurse, and Professor at KHS. I did different interactions with students, medicalrp, supporting students, etc. I also picked the option to become a Shrine Maiden which helped me develop my detailrp further, exploring more roleplay opportunities with the community who seemed to be interested in Shinto and being able to roleplay with them. Another experience that I enjoyed was being a Judge. This was heavily involved in detailrp as well as communicating to the IC community or people. I’ve also had different interactions with the different factions, even if I have not been involved with them completely. Being able to experience all the different situations on SRP has developed my roleplay as a whole over the few years of being on SRP. I only wish to expand my experiences with roleplay as a whole, being able to join different factions such as EMS.
I have a variety of experiences with roleplay on SRP alone, with or without roles. I have been in different factions, being able to experience the different sorts of roleplay that was required for that exact role. These roles ranged from a KHS Receptionist to a KHS Nurse. The Nurse role is the role I did most of my 'medical roleplay' In a sense. I was able to help students who needed support from injuries that were made at school or simply give them a place to rest after an injury or being drunk. After that role, I went into something that required more detailrp, which was the Shrine, being able to communicate with the community regarding Shintosim, or simply working around the Monastery carrying out daily tasks. Another role I took on was being a Judge at the Town hall; I focused mostly on cases and deciding a verdict or outcome for the case in the courtroom. I took a part in planning cases and actually completing them, getting them away into the case rooms. My last role was as a professor. I was teaching students general medicine, showing them the basics that I knew, as well as teaching them what they wanted to learn themselves, which I also learned from that lesson. Medicine is my key interest in roleplay, mostly.
I do wish to expand my experiences of roleplay on SRP, and I hope it does come to that.
What is your motivation for applying?
My motivation has been up and down when it comes to applying to a new faction due to worrying about how busy I may be during the time I possess that role. However, my motivation has been a mix of things. I've watched how EMS has developed over my time playing on SRP, watching different interactions, ranging from a simple check-up to recovery, or speaking to them in the Lobby out of pure boredom with the character. Hospital workers have always made interactions funny or unique, even if it is good or bad.
Personally, I've always enjoyed doing a form of medicalrp, even if it is just applying a bandaid to my character's arm due to a cut or helping someone until they are able to get professional help. I applied for KHS Nurse for this main reason: I always enjoyed helping out those who needed help, even if it was drunk students or students who simply needed to wait in the office for EMS to arrive so they could perform the full required treatment at the time.
A while back, I completed an internship with EMS, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We didn't learn everything you would learn as a trainee, but we learned the basics regarding the roles, what they do, some of the jobs they do, and how to do some of them. This gave me motivation towards my interest in IRL. I've always taken an interest in anatomy or anything to do with the medical side of things. It would be nice to experience a different change in the environment, be able to communicate with the community on SRP and give them what they want, even if it is just a prescription or check-up.
Which role are you applying for?
(Doctor or Psychiatrist):
I would like to apply for the role of a Doctor.
What knowledge do you have of Hospital Work?
My knowledge of hospital work is limited, but not completely limited. I know the basics of what each role does, what the roles do to fulfill their duties, helping civilians in Karakura with the most basic needs to the most extreme. Each EMS role has a different duty to fulfill. These roles are doctor, psychiatrist, and Paramedic. The Paramedic role is new, so I have little knowledge of that. However, this is what I know fully so far about the three main roles.
Paramedic:
The role of a paramedic is like a doctor, but outside of the hospital. They are the emergency department and will use ambulances to help get to the scene that requires immediate medical attention, which then they will treat on the spot as a temporary solution before bringing them to the hospital for further treatment. They can not do any prescription-based things or surgery as they do not have the correct training to do so.
Doctor:
The role of a doctor isn’t simple, but it isn’t complicated. When people hear the word ‘Doctor,’ they automatically think they just help diagnose patients with any illnesses or treat the simplest of things. From my knowledge, In Karakura, this is not the case. Doctors here do both Surgical and non-surgical practice. Their duty is to help people who come into the waiting room with any issues that require medical help, not mental. They are the physical health specialists. They help from the smallest of cuts to stab wounds or organ failure. They help with giving the citizens a new chance with prosthetics or simply giving them medication over the counter that they need renewing.
Psychiatrist:
The role of a psychiatrist is like a doctor, but for the mental side of things, they help citizens when it comes to mental struggle. Their duty is to give therapy or advice to those who wish to take it. They help guide them into a better place or help give them the correct diagnosis in order to be able to start treatment or medication for it. Psychiatrists also have a basic first aid degree, so if doctors are busy or not around, they are able to tend to smaller injuries that do not require advanced knowledge.
Another thing about psychiatrists, they are limited in what they can prescribe. They are only allowed to prescribe certain things, which have to be only psychiatric medication.
I also would like to note I know there are other roles, such as Director, Clinical Manager, Clinical Lead, Head of Department, Senior, Attending, and resident.
However, when it comes to doing the actual Medical Roleplay side of things at the hospital, I know the different types of treatments that I’ve learned or watched in chat or during my interactions within the hospital. This varies from the smallest things, such as consultations, check-ups, small cuts, and broken noses. This leads to more major or traumatic injuries such as broken bones, stab wounds, missing limbs, Head trauma, burns, or even CPR.
Do you acknowledge that you’re subject to being demoted at any given time if accepted?
I completely take this into account and acknowledge this.
Do you acknowledge that by applying for this role, you agree to be 100% dedicated to the Hospital Staff role?
I completely take this into account and acknowledge this.
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?
I completely take this into account and acknowledge this.
Do you acknowledge that you are NOT to take things OOCly when dealing with training & situations?
I completely take this into account and acknowledge this.

Backstory (100+ Words)
Tenmongaku is the 3rd child that was born, and he is the 3rd oldest/2nd youngest. His older siblings Sunako and Tsukikage were both 10 and 7 at the time of Tenmongaku's birth; he was born in Moscow, Russia, until he was around 20 when he left his hometown to pursue his future career path.
Tenmongaku was always a young, shy kid who would always pretend to play doctor with his older sibling, Sunako. Due to the absence of his parents, Sunako was always taking care of Tenmongaku, acting more like a mother figure than his actual Mother. Although he knew why his Mother and Father were not around, he never forgave them for what they did. The siblings worked together in order to keep a good balance of life, being able to push through any of the issues that were thrown their way.
Due to their Mother and Father being absent, Tenmongaku always turned to his older siblings to play, usually resorting to playing doctor and pretending to do surgery or anything regarding the heart, which took his main interest due to his mother's heart condition that didn’t stop her from being a stay at home artist who barely played an ounce of attention to her children, their father was the same, he was a full-time doctor who was always out working or sleeping at home upstairs. Tenmongaku only learned a few things from his parents: not to listen but to respect and accept the discipline they gave him even if he didn’t deserve it. Tenmongaku only listened to one person and one person alone, which was his older sister, Sunako.
As the years passed, he was old enough to study at a local school. He was always studying most days and playing with others, but mostly, he used his free time to check on his siblings, mostly his sister. After all, she was doing the hardest job at raising everyone and still trying to be a kid herself. Over the years, Tenmongaku turned into a different person, more cold and content. He showed less affection towards people, including his siblings, even though they didn’t deserve it; he was struggling mentally due to the environment he was locked in, but this didn’t stop him from succeeding at school, getting mostly good grades, so he could focus on becoming a doctor in his future career path.
Tenmongaku became more resentful; people wouldn’t approach him due to his cold nature, but eventually, he opened up again after he fled Russia and went to Italy to study, focusing on what made him happy, which was becoming a doctor to help those who needed it. He’d rarely visit Russia, but he went to visit when his sister got married, or when she gave birth, etc. If she needed him, he was there the next day or that night.
Tenmongaku eventually graduated from University with his PhD in medicine, being able to finally become a Cardiologist. He also eventually got married, but that went down a few years later, which caused Tenmongaku to flee Italy to where his siblings were currently located, Karakura, Japan. He felt more at home and safer with those he knew and cared about. He was starting his new adventure on a new island.
SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
(Ensure this is appropriate to the position you have chosen.)
Tenmongaku spent his years studying to become a medical professional, wanting to become a cardiologist. He took a keen interest in understanding the Cardiac cycle, Cardiac Tissues, and anything surrounding the heart.
He learned everything from CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) to diagnosing patients who require a peacemaker or simple medication to help monitor the circulation of the blood going around the body from the heart.
He chose this focus because of his Mother. They didn’t have the best relationship, but he always knew about her heart condition and always used to read the doctor's notes and her medication labels. He saw how much this affected his parents as a whole. Taking this into account, he wanted to pursue this further, being able to understand the cardiac tissue and the surrounding components. He wanted to be able to pursue this and use this information to help future families or individuals with anything regarding their hearts. On top of that, he enjoyed studying the cardiac cycle and tissue along with the surrounding parts.
What medical residencies did your character take after medical school?
Tenmongaku spent a four-year residency at the local hospital in his area of residence; after that, he went to Korea and did a one-year residency there before transferring to Karakura in hopes of getting a position.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
Back in Italy, Tenmongaku does have work experience in a medical position as a cardiologist. However, he does not have any work experience in Karakura in a medical position.
Has your character completed any additional schooling?
Tenmongaku completed his medical degree at the University of Bologna in Italy, continuing on to complete a year in General Medical Council, which is psychiatrist work as a bit of side knowledge before going on to complete a Masters in Cardiology on top of his Ph.D. in Medicine.
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, and what makes them unique?
Tenmongaku is a 5'11 tall Russian male who has a few different unique features about him. When you are looking at Tenmongaku, the first thing you will see is his Jet-black hair, which goes along with his ocean-blue eyes. The male would have a small mark under his right eye, which wasn’t able to be identified correctly unless Tenmongaku told you himself. Following that, on his lower lip, there would be a 1cm scar that would be below the lip-line. Another feature that you would only spot on Tenmongaku when his arm is on display is his tattoo. His tattoo is a snake wrapping around his arm, along with a moon and skull at the top of his arm by his shoulder blade.
Tenmongaku has a strong Russian accent. It usually is deep unless he is sick, which tends to go softer. He often wears smart/casual clothing or wears his jacket to keep himself cozy.

How does your character act on and off duty?
There is not much difference when Tenmongaku is on or off duty. However, there are some aspects you will see.
On duty:
Tenmongaku would seem rather relaxed and professional during his time at the hospital working. He gives off a friendly and outgoing aura, making him approachable when working. Tenmongaku will act professionally around patients or in serious moments that require professionalism. However, if he's on break or having a talk with his fellow co-workers, his professional side will relax a bit.
Off duty:
Tenmongaku is more goofy and cheeky off-duty. He remains on the respectful side of things as he knows there are boundaries and limits. He's always spending his off-duty with his family, trying to be the cool uncle to his nieces and nephews while annoying his beloved siblings. He has more of a snark to himself when off duty, as he's relaxed.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Tenmongaku tend to function more when working alone. It gives him more space to focus and get the job done faster. Sure, he doesn’t mind working with people if it's necessary. For example, when a huge trauma unit comes in and it requires more help, he will work with people as a team to get that completed and done. As one of his professors told him:
"Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much."
When Tenmongaku works alone, he tends to think he gets things done faster, which is usually true, depending on the situation. He prefers working solo, but if told he has to work as a team, he will do that.
What plans does your character have for the future?
Tenmongaku doesn’t have much perception of his future; he has goals and plans that he may want to pursue, such as getting a higher position as a hospital worker, as well as being able to spend more quality time with his family and friends. In Tenmongakus' mind, he’d much prefer to follow his path into his future and see where it leads him.
How is your character perceived by others? How does it contrast with their perception of themself?
Tenmongaku is perceived in different ways by different people. His family is perceived as having a calm and caring nature, always keeping an eye out for those who are in need of support. As he usually would tell his siblings when he lived back in Italy, “I am only a plane away; if you need me, I’ll be there.”
He is also seen as cold-hearted to some people; this is purely only towards those whom he sees as strangers or not in the close circle. He does this to protect himself from being hurt due to his past, and this affects him as a person. He has a low amount of self-esteem. He always tends to put himself off and focus on those to help ignore his own issues. Overall, depending on the person and how close they are to Tenmongaku, it will depend on how he acts around them, as well as how they perceive him as a person.
