I have two previous bans that have taken place on my main account, atkoi. One of them had been a ban due to a misunderstanding which had been lifted immediately, the other one was classified as unserious roleplay and had taken place when I was new to the server back in late July early August. I have since then learned from my mistakes and my record has been spotless since then.

Describe your activity on the server:
My activity on the server is pretty consistent. I tend to hop onto the server daily. I enjoy playing with friends on the server and some days, while it may be slow paced, I'm overall roleplaying and enjoying my time. I'm found either roleplaying with friends on my college account, my adult account, the account I'm applying with currently, and my councilor account. Other than roleplaying, I'm a builder and 3d modeler, actively working on improving builds for others and creating customs for those who request them. The longest I've gone without logging onto the server to play is 2-3 days consecutively (Mostly general inactivity of not logging onto any of the accounts). I'd like to believe I am one of the most active players on the server and constantly looking for things to do. My activity is evenly distributed between my atkoi, sunkoi, itskoiv, and Synkoi accounts. There's no need to worry about me being inactive. I know my limits and feel I can handle whatever it is I put myself into.

What is your motivation for applying?:
I've been motivated to apply as a Governor for several reasons, and I'd be happy to expand on them. A large part of my motivation currently is knowing that currently the account I'm applying for is already a lawyer in the faction, and I'd like to take it further. I have a never-ending curiosity with the server's various city jobs and role-play opportunities that tie into the experiences I strive to have. I want to further my knowledge on how the servers legal system works outside of just being a lawyer, proving to be helpful, as well as being a generally active person. I am quick to learn how things are run and I've never had issues with the positions I've been placed in or chosen. I've always enjoyed roleplaying with others and, as a lawyer, that roleplay I hoped to have wasn't the best since I hadn't had much to do. I feel that, if I were to move up to being the fourth governor, I could get a better hold on role-play experiences since I'll be able to help others out with their businesses, I.D cards, cases, etc. I've been able to upkeep my quota and I've been known to go above and beyond when given the opportunity to. I ensure a thorough roleplay experience with those who interact with me and as a governor, I know I can motivate others to feel more inclined to take part in the government/legal side of the cityrp parts of the server. ICly I feel as though this job would benefit my characters development and would give me an overall enjoyment in the faction again. When I had first joined as a lawyer I had high expectations, some were met and some have dwindled (which, I'm sure it'll pick up again, I'm just hopeful to try my hand at something new!) and, despite that, I still feel as though I can do more. I know that I would find genuine joy in playing something more than a lawyer. Overall, I'm just glad I've had the opportunity to apply as a governor, and I'm glad that I've been able to play as a lawyer on the server.
Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:
When it comes to the laws of Karakura, I'm quite familiar with them seeing as currently I am experienced as a lawyer. I've run through a few different trials (public and private!) and have had to do plenty of research. The laws of Karakura are something I resort to often when I come upon a roleplay situation where I'm questioning the legality of it- or when people come to me with questions.
Are there any goals for you or your character with this role?:
A big goal I'm striving for OOCly with this role is mostly just trying to get the most I can out of my experience in the government faction. I know I have what it takes to be an active member on the team, and the experience I feel would be needed to carry out such a role. I am a highly active player on the server and between that and my vast knowledge of RP and the general laws of the server as well as a strong understanding of what is expected of me as a governor, I feel I would fit in well with the role.
ICly, the character I plan on applying with, is hardy and intellectual. The character has a vast understanding of how things should be run and would make a perfect candidate for a middleman in the governors. I feel that, from a characters standpoint, this would better his roleplay experiences in terms of giving him more opportunities to interact with the community, a chance at something new in general for a change of pace, and perhaps the ability to partake in events that may or may not include being kidnapped. . and held for ransom.. (Cough cough, Bao and Sturm, cough cough. .)
When it comes to this position overall, OOCly and ICly I'd like to work towards helping introduce new ways to combat the crime situation, give ideas to better push the community in a better direction, and create a fun environment for those around me where we can roleplay naturally and not have empty spots where we're unsure of what to do.
In your own words, describe what the position you’re applying for does within the government:
The position I'm applying for, Governor, is a strong foothold on the government faction just below the mayor himself. Governors are responsible with keeping tabs on the community and ensuring things are flowing smoothly within the overal city, overseeing legislature and law is carried out accordingly. They're the supports that hold the economy up and, with their activity, are able to introduce new ideas to the town that'll not only bring players more chance to interact with those in the faction, but will also make sure they're able to protect the citizens. Governors are there to preserve, protect, and defend the law of the land. In Japan specifically, the title Governor refers to the highest ranking executive of a Prefectural Government.
The government of Karakura isn't run exactly the way Japan OOCly runs things, although the Governor is usually elected by a direct vote from the people and has a fixed term of four years. There is no specific restriction on the number of terms a person may serve as governor. As a governor, you hold considerable power within the faction, controlling much of the technicalities of the area they are in charge of.
An example I can use is Sturms character, having retired from the KPD she has focused more on the safety of the town and looks more into how to protect citizens and how they can expand on removing crime.

I am aware that any display of OOC bias towards anyone on the job will result in punishment. I am good at keeping bias out of my decisions, and prefer to forgive and forget over causing needless drama.

Despite being 25, I've had quite a bit of experience working with various jobs. When I was in early high school I was working as a bus boy in a local café, and took on a second job as a retail associate. I've worked as a research assistant for my colleagues when I was in law school, and currently I work for Karakura as a lawyer.
Political background:
Ever since I was a young boy, I've always had a knack for trying to figure out the best route for everybody around me. My mother was a nurse and my father focused mostly on his day to day job behind a desk. Being the older brother, I was always focused on my studies and raising my younger brother- making sure he got to school, his grades were good, and he did what he loved. When I was 12, my parents had divorced. My father took me with him to America, where I was raised alone. My mother had kept my brother, and I hadn't heard from him. While in America, my father pushed me to further my interests, to go above what I was initially studying. Once I had been pushed into the idea of being a lawyer, I had given in. My father had raised me, and I wasn't going to let him down. Once my studies had begun- leaning into college, however, I was pulled back to Germany after my father lost his job. I was 18 at this time. My father was set to the streets, lost in America, and my mother had paid for only me to come back to Germany. There, I spent a few months to re-evaluate everything my father had told me, and I spent time recuperating after having lost my father, and knowing my younger brother was ignoring me now- perhaps having forgotten who I was for years.
I had continued my studies in Germany for another four years, studying endlessly on what was needed with some help from my mother. A big part to my education overall was my interest in government economics, where I had earned my Bachelor of Arts degree initially. During law school, I was a research assistant for many of my colleagues and eventually moved to Karakura when I was 23 . I continued my studies into looking for a higher position- Governor. I eventually applied for an internship at the townhall, since I was too young to properly work there- and that internship lasted two years. I turned 25, and was given the opportunity to work for Karakura as a lawyer to the general public, which I took graciously.

What makes you a good candidate for this job?
As a Governor, I feel I can represent the people and the faction itself. I feel that I am able to help the citizens of Karakura. I can adapt to any situation that is given to me, and I feel that my age will help me better represent the younger people in the population. I know I cant be the sole reason behind Karakura's needs being met as a governor, but I do have a confident understanding of what is expected of me. I know I can make an impactful change with the help of the other Governors. I want nothing more than to help the citizens of Karakura. Karakura is a city filled with crime in the shadows running rampant. I, as a governor, know that my voice will be heard and I can be the voice the citizens need in order to get what they want to say out there. I, as a governor, know that I can help propose laws, plans, and overall ideas to help fight against the crime.
