Describe your activity on SchoolRP:
This will probably come as no surprise to you, I am an active member of the community! I’ve been spending my hours on this server consistently since 2021, however my start date journeys back further back a couple of years. I have roles on the server that also require me to be active, roles that I have chosen to dedicate my time to and have thrived in ever since, such as Event Team and 3D Modelling. I would say that my activity on a daily basis can range from 4-6 hours a day depending on my availability.
Describe your roleplay experience with SchoolRP and other roleplay networks in general:
Let's start at the very beginning then. Little ol’ me was a fan of roleplay since childhood, I originated from the biggest minecraft server to date, using their housing mechanic to build my own worlds and play pretend in them. After some surfing on the internet, I stumbled upon the SchoolRP website which led me to the server. I enjoyed the concept of the server and decided to stick around. Over the years, I have experienced lots of variations of roleplay. Starting off with the basics, family, school and fantasy. A lot of my fantasy roleplay came from housing rather than SchoolRP, and I wish I had experienced FantasyRP on the server. Despite that, I spent a lot of time online, thus I tried out some different role plays available. I’ve been in… a lot of factions. When you’ve been on a server for this long, I believe that is to be expected. I’ve been a part of EMS, Professor, Judge, KPD and School Faculty as a nurse. I’ve actually been a professor twice, however this was a long time ago! When I decided to retire from the role, I knew I’d be back.

TRIVIA SECTION
What is your motivation for becoming a professor?:
I have been yearning for something new to do on the SchoolRP server for a little while now, my motivation for old interests is wearing thin. I wanted to do something that’ll keep me occupied, without taking up too much of my time. I also wanted to stay inside of the School Faction, as I already have EMS. That brought me to the Education faction once again, I’ve had a lot of motivation as of recently, the idea of teaching again has sparked that creativity. A lot of my motivation also came from the cooking plugin. I'd like to use the plugin in my lessons and I think it would make classes a lot more enjoyable for myself and the students, as there is more of a practical side to it! I am aware of your roster that you already have two culinary professors, so if it helps convince you to accept me, I would like to focus more specifically on baking! I love baking in real life (I make some good brownies) and so I’d like to apply my knowledge into my lessons. I can also do regular cooking, I honestly don’t mind!
Work out two interactive classes you will host if accepted:
- My first interactive class would be labelled as ‘20 recipes you should learn in your 20s’. As this is a college class, MOST of the students are going to be 20+ in age. An unfortunate truth is that a lot of people don’t know how to cook, or are too intimidated by the idea. So, this way I will be giving my students 20 easy recipes to keep themselves fed and fueled for more learning. For resources, I will supply the students with a recipe book, so they can keep these easy recipes on hand. As the students are older, I believe they should have a bit more freedom in their cooking, so once all of the cook books are handed out, they can choose a recipe from it and practice perfecting it themselves. I will of course be around to help with anything the students may need, but this lesson will be all about building their confidence in cooking and helping them fend for themselves out in the real world. No more 11/7 meals for dinner!
- My second interactive lesson would be named ‘Restaurant’. In this lesson, we will set the classroom up as a restaurant, the students can either play as a guest or a cook. I will pre-make some menus for the students to use with some basic recipes the students can cook within a lesson period and the guests can order whatever they would like off of it. It will be the kitchen staff’s job to prepare the food. This lesson is all about social settings and working in hospitality. For those who wish to study culinary for a career, this will be good practice for them. For those acting as guests, we will also be talking about what is appropriate behaviour in a restaurant, and how we can make the experience better for everyone. Nobody likes a Karen!
Work out a field trip (meaning a class outside school grounds) you will host if accepted:
For my field trip, I would get in contact with a restaurant in Karakura, and set up a day where my students get taken on a tour of the place. The students will get to see the behind the scenes of a restaurant and what goes on. The shopkeeper can also talk to the students about their restaurant or their responsibilities as a restaurant owner, and how they keep up with the demand. I would also love to have some real chefs in the building, as I know some restaurants do have chefs working behind the scenes during openings. If the field trip extends to lunch time, we’ll be in the perfect place for some food!
SCENARIO SECTION
Your character would encounter a group of college jocks surrounding a bobcat jock, what would your character do?
I would of course approach the situation and get an idea of what was going on before interrupting. I don’t wish to get on badly with the students, so I would attempt to stay as calm as possible during the incident. Students can be hot-headed and say things they don’t mean a lot of the time, so not taking it to heart is key. I would then ask the students to go their separate ways, or offer a solution to their conflict if they confide in me.
Your character would be supervising detention, one of the students constantly disturbs by asking stupid questions, what would your character do?
I would firstly quietly speak to them, and ask them nicely to reconsider their actions. If they continued on with interrupting the detention, I would remind them of the further consequences of their actions, such as suspension or a meeting with a member of the SLT. If they refused to comply, as a last resort I would call for SLT to come and speak to them.
Your character would be hosting a class, and a group of cheerleaders keeps on playing songs on the phone and calling out other students in the class, what would your character do?
Luckily I have thought about this occurring, and have come up with a solution! I intend on playing my own music during class, that’s right! I will beat them at their own game. In a culinary class, I don’t expect the students to work in silence, not at all. I want them to talk to one another and help one another out, and most importantly, I want them to feel comfortable working in my classroom. I am a fan of music myself, and I have no intention of halting a student from listening to it. However, the music I play will be more background music for the students to listen to, something more calm and peaceful so as to not distract the students too much from their stoves. If the group of cheerleaders were to interrupt my own music playing, I would ask them to turn their phones off or their devices would go to the phone jail. The phone jail is just a basket on my desk for their phones to set in during the lesson. I don’t intend on keeping the mobile phones, that seems unnecessary.
Your character would be walking on the school perimeter and encounter a fight between a couple of students, your character tried to break it up but it didn't help, what would your character do?
I would call for backup on my radio, I don’t want myself or anyone else to get injured in the process, so I would continue to try and do as much as possible verbally first. If it came to it, I would remove the students from one another physically and hand out detentions where necessary. During detentions, I would like to chat to my students and find out what went wrong, and help them find alternative solutions than violence.

Barbra Roberts is probably the most wholesome Professor you’ll find on campus. The woman took her childhood passion and turned it into a career. Food has always captured her heart and she was never afraid to show it. People have comfort shows or people, Barbra has food! Unfortunately, Barbra’s passion was not shared by her peers, and she was often teased about her obsession with snacks. Despite the snarky comments said behind her back and to her face, she didn’t let it stop her from doing what she loved, cooking. Barbra is a very short woman with a kindness as tall as the mountain slopes. She has always been a supportive person, often acting as a mother-figure to her friends. She is definitely on her way to becoming an old granny who bakes cookies for the grandkids whenever they come around. Professor Roberts has always had a soft spot for children, despite that she decided Culinary was better suited for the older kids. She treats all of the students like her own, no matter their background or history. Food brings people together after all! Barbra is somebody who could’ve been out of a movie or game, very supportive and unusually happy. Her plans for the future are a career as a culinary teacher and raising her own children to love cooking just as much as she does! Ratatouille will be played in her classroom at least once a week.

Barbra grew up in America, with a loving set of parents. Unfortunately, it came to a point where Barbra was the carer in the household for her father. This led to her taking over the household chores, the cleaning, laundry and… cooking. Her newly found passion during childhood sparked a world of fruitful dedication. Barbra had borrowed every cook book in the library she could get her hands on, and her cooking teacher in high school was sick of seeing her face lurking outside of the classroom, drooling over the baked goods she was waiting to take home for her sick father to taste. Barbra of course went on to study at Culinary School, and she felt right at home. In fact, she never wanted to leave, to stop learning new recipes. With that sparked the idea of teaching herself, then the lessons would never stop, for her and her students. It was a genius plan in the girl’s mind, and not one regret follows her to this day. Barbra now lives in Karakura, however during her early 20’s she travelled to a lot of countries, mainly to taste all of the food from different cultures. She decided to stay in Japan by the end of her travels, settling down and finding a job at Karakura Community College. How exciting!
