TRIVIA QUESTIONS
What is the student council and what do they do?:
In short, the student council help keep the halls and grounds of the school a safe and secure environment. They are similar to school faculty, other than the fact they do not have to have a degree of some kind to work with the school and its students. Not only do they take care of the students and help faculty, they plan and set up fun events for everybody, even collaborating with SLT and different clubs to either promote, or just have a good time, even helping other people make friends within the school. While school councilors do sound scary a lot of the time, they’re like any other student attending the school. To be honest, they’re a student with a pretty armband and some higher authority over the other students, but those are really the only differences!
What motivated you to apply for council? (e.g. Interests, friends, etc.):
I know I say this with a lot of factions I’ve joined, but this is because I truly mean it, as I’ve been looking into student council for *years* now. If I want to put a timestamp on it? I’d say I’ve been wanting to join for the three out of almost six years I’ve been playing SchoolRP, but have been too scared and intimidated to apply. I was always inspired by the student councilor characters I always used to see in other games or shows, because they’ve always interested me with how they would act, look, speak, literally anything. I know it sounds kind of silly, but it’s how I’ve always seen it, and that’s what I based this character on, the one I’m applying with. I have met a few Councillors before and they always seem like such cool people who I really want to befriend, but am always too scared to approach ICly. I know it’s funny to seem intimate by them, but I am sometimes. Okay? Ok. I’m glad we agree.
Other than that though, I really do want to get into another student role. I’ve been on teams, been in clubs, and a BUNCH of factions before, as you can see in my accepted applications, but school council is unique in such an interesting way, and I really want to experience it for myself. I know it can get stressful with the amount that happens, I’ve been faculty before, so I know I can handle it all efficiently and properly, even helping other people that may not know as much as I might know. I really hope I get to experience this role for myself. I know I lowkey missed a huge opportunity when applications were open last wave, but it opened a door for many other players!
Are you aware that you’ll be having to use your creativity and teamwork ethic within the student council? (e.g. Coming up and helping with events):
Yes, and I’m looking forward to it!
Can you list the roles in the council along with other roles that might be important to the council?:
After doing some research into the school council, their roles, as well as their responsibilities, these are few of the many pieces of information I found;
President
There are two presidents for the school council! One is the high school president, and the other is the college president. This role acts as the primary representative of the student body, a bridge between students and school administration. These are the people who set a positive example for the school, manage school council meetings, coordinate events, and serve as the lead spokesperson to express ideas, desires, and concerns. Of course, they have many other responsibilities, but I believe these to be the most important and well-known responsibilities that the council president has.
Vice President
While this is commonly seen as an almost identical role to the President, there are some more differences rather than similarities! Yes, this role does stand in place for the president (standing in for meetings, assemblies, or events if the president is unavailable). They also help coordinate the council calendar, scheduling meetings, and even organize logistics for school-wide events (like dances, spirit weeks, or charity drives)! Did you know that they are also a tiebreaker within votes if there’s a tie? I sure as hell didn’t until now.
Secretary
The Secretary is kind of like any office job, where the boss has a secretary to keep track of stuff for them! In council, the secretary organizes meetings, keeps accurate records, and manages official correspondence. While it doesn’t seem like much, this role also tracks action items and shares important information, ensuring that the council operates transparently and effectively. They track of and organize official documents, take and distribute detailed notes to give to members after the meeting, and collaborate with the council president to prepare and distribute the meeting agenda before the meeting.
Treasurer
The council Treasurer keeps track and manages the financial resources, including preparing budgets, maintaining accurate accounting records, and tracking funds, as well as issuing reports at meetings to ensure financial transparency and accountability. Some of their core responsibilities include, but are not limited to, drafting budgets, keeping a detailed and up-to-date ledger of all money collected and spent, ensuring all raised funds are safely deposited, producing regular financial reports to update the council on the current balance and recent transactions, and even planning fundraisers. Of course, there are more areas where they dominate, but these are the few notable ones I’ve taken the time to mention.
IC SECTION
SCENARIOS
While students gather for a school assembly, one student behaves disruptively, causing a disturbance. How would you manage the situation to restore order effectively while minimizing any additional disruptions to the assembly?
It’s quite simple, at least in my opinion. First, I would walk over to the student and ask them to settle down. If this doesn’t work, and they continue to disrupt the assembly, they’ll be threatened with detention, as they are not listening and causing other people to not pay attention to something that may be very important, since assemblies are not something common in the school. At the third warning, they will be handed a detention and be told to leave the assembly since they are only causing disruptions, and will have to give an apology to whoever they disrupted during the meeting.
A student refuses to take their mask off after you’ve brought up detention and they’ve run away! What do you do?
To be honest, this is one of the harder questions since you do not know the student’s face or name, as they are masked and running away. We cannot grab them, but I would thoroughly inspect their attire, checking whether it is recognizable or not. If it is, I would make sure to describe what they are wearing over the radio, seeing if we can find them based on that. If they are not recognizable clothing items, or the student changes into a new outfit, I would notify school faculty and other school councillors to watch out, and check for a masked individual who just ran. Of course, I would be insure to say where they ran from, as well as where they ran towards, just to give the most information I could while not being able to do too much.
A teacher observes concerning behavior from a student, including the creation of disturbing artwork and verbal threats toward peers. How would you collaborate with the teacher to evaluate the situation and intervene appropriately to address potential safety concerns?
I would go to the teacher and speak about the student’s behavior. During this time, it will be brought up how to approach the student properly about the situation, and what may be going on. While going to the school counselor is a good choice, and should be considered, it is important to see if you can help them yourself, since being forced to see a counselor is not much of a great choice, as it can make them feel cornered, leading to aggression, panic, fear, or even all three. Of course, a counselor will be notified about the student and their behavior, maybe even called to the counselor’s office, so they can talk about it. Mental health, especially in Karakura, is quite bad within itself, so it is very important that it is treated delicately, and with care, so more issues to not pop up in the future. It is better to help without accidental harm.
A group of students asks for your permission to stage a protest on school grounds. Would you allow them to protest? If so, how do you ensure that the protest does not disrupt the school environment while upholding their freedom of expression?
If a small group of students comes up to me, asking to protest, I will allow this. As somebody who runs strictly by the rules, students should be allowed to protest anywhere in the city, even if it is on school grounds. To be completely honest, depending on the topic they are protesting about, I will be able to do this alone. Though, as everything is unpredictable, I will ensure that there are multiple councillors or faculty available to help out if they are needed. A small group could always turn into a medium, or even a large-sized group of people in the matter of minutes, even seconds.
To not disrupt the school environment can be a difficult task, though I do have some ideas how they can peacefully protest their cause. If they are wanting to yell or shout for their cause, they will be told to stay outside of the school building itself, remaining on the outside parts of the school grounds only. Though, if they are open to being quiet, they may silently walk through the halls with their group of people, holding signs or posters to protest their cause. Of course, they will not be banned from talking, but they will be heavily monitored by myself, other councillors, and school faculty.
In the end, I believe that anybody, whether a student or not, should be able to express their freedom of expression in any environment. Of course, this is as long as there is no violence involved, or even arguments. Debating is fine, but only if there is nobody being condescending or spoken down at. In my eyes, protesting is important, as it lets people open the eyes of others, whether it be against government laws, school rules, or even something new that many people do not like. It is something that can be helpful in the very end.
A teacher/receptionist has told you that you are doing something that goes against what you were trained by your higher-ups. How would you react to this?
I would first accept the correction and accept that I have made a mistake instead of taking offense or being upset about it. Afterward, I would then give an apology, along with a deep bow and tell them that I will do better next time and review what I did and why it was wrong. It’s the most simple and easy thing to do. Mistakes are common, they happen all of the time. The most important thing is to learn from them, and then make yourself better, ensuring that it doesn’t happen again. If it happens too many times, one should rethink their position, or perhaps undergo training/supervision to make sure everything is being done right. Again, not all mistakes are bad, but too many could give people the wrong impression about the council.
Please provide at least one detailed event that the council can use as a future event to showcase your creativity! (Must be 300 words or more for one event):
Okay, so like, I’ve done a LOT of thinking. I don’t know if this has ever been used before because I’ve never seen it, not even an idea for it, but I had this really cute idea to do a cook off between Council members. BUT BUT, this can also include regular students too, because I think it’d be a really fun idea. ok? ok.
Now I introduce you to;
Council Cook-Off! (featuring cooking club)
This is something that will be College vs High School, because why not have everything be a competition?! ALSO all ingredients and recipes will be
In this competition, there will be THREE ROUNDS! The first round will be an appetizer, the second is the main course, and the third is dessert! Each round will be done between 20 - 30 OOC minutes, or depending on how long it takes people to make the recipe. OH! I should also mention that each side will be making the same thing, but will only be given the ingredients, and NOT the actual recipe instructions.
For each round, there will be one side who wins, and the other team will lose! (obviously). SO, the winning team has a cool option to choose an advantage for themself, or a disadvantage for the other team! DO REMEMBER, there can only be one picked! If you pick an advantage, you cannot ALSO pick a disadvantage for the other team. (unless the next round is also won by you)!
ADVANTAGES
include , but are not limited to; a one-time-use recipe book, stealing a member from the enemy team, an extra member from the crowd, a time addition (5-10 minutes).
DISADVANTAGES
Include but are not limited to; loss of an ingredient, time deduction, no hearing (blindfolds), a member ‘executed’ from one round, and no seeing (loud headphones).
Of course, this can always be re-worked or added onto with the
group of people who want to be involved ^_^
BASIC NOTES
-College vs High School
-Given ingredients, but not a recipe
-Given 30 minutes to cook/bake
-Three rounds (appetizer, main course, dessert)
-Each round lost, the winning team can pick a disadvantage for the losing team OR an advantage for themself

How would you describe your personality?:
While I see myself as modest, self-aware, professional, honest, and realistic, I have come to an understanding that others see me differently. I have heard myself described as lower-tier words, such as formal, vague, monotone, and even boring? I do not enjoy that last word, but that is what I have heard, and I do not tell lies, I hate liars. In my eyes, I see myself as the most real person somebody could and will ever meet in their entire life. I do not sugarcoat the truth to save somebody and their fragile ego, nor am I going to be rude about it, but that is something I will keep refusing until the day I take my last breath. I will say everything how it is, and if they do not appreciate it, I do my best to give a sincere apology, paired with a bow. I am modest, mostly with my clothing, wearing school uniforms, even if they do not exactly match what Karakura High wants us to wear. I am very serious about how I hold myself, as I have expectations and a title to uphold. So no, I will /not/ tarnish my reputation or self-made standards over small or unnecessary arguments/scenarios.
Appearance/attire (Please provide a picture):

What separates you from other applicants seeking your position?:
To begin, I know exactly what I’m doing and what I’m supposed to do. While I cannot comprehend why or what students will do these crazy acts for, I know that I will be able to handle whatever is thrown my way, or even non-metophorically at me. I will ensure authority, not abuse of power, but enough to where students will know that I am the person in charge if faculty are not there, and they should heed my words of advice, as it will guide them away from any trouble they may be getting themselves into. I am attentive and unbiased, meaning I will properly handle a situation without unnecessary emotion towards one party compared to the other(s). Ending this question, I have two very well-behaved younger siblings that I raised myself. If that does not tell you anything about who I am or what I can do, then I suggest you rethink the level of your observation skills.
Why do you want this position?:
While I have not seen many student council members around before, I have not been around the school grounds enough to see anybody. It seems as though the grounds are infected with a rule-breaking parasite, causing students to cause issues throughout the property. How I see it, they are trying to be ‘funny’ and cause chaos with their friends out of some kind of entertainment, at least that is how they see it; entertaining. Such things have always been disgusting in my eyes, which irks me to a high degree. I would also like to do my very best to help the faculty and anybody who works for the school, as they always seem to get the short end of the stick, even feeling out of power because of how these students act. This always seems to be very apparent when dealing with situations or anything complicated, as the students that that faculty want to care about so much, are rude, disrespectful, and straight horrible because they think it is perfectly okay to treat somebody badly. In /my/ opinion, it is the parents' fault, but that is just me, as my mother raised me perfectly.
What interests you the most about student council?:
While these interest me, these are a couple of things that I am very excited to be a part of, assuming I have the chance to do so, which is working closely with clubs and teachers. While I went to another school in Kyoto, I have never seen a role like this- well, we did not specifically need anything like it. My old school did not have any of the issues Karakura High does. In a way, this is okay, because it gives us room to improve and time to make things better. Personally, I do enjoy the idea of working closely with teachers, though perhaps it is a reason why I was always called a teacher’s pet in Kyoto. . but never mind that. In the end, I believe being a member of the student council will allow me to go through with plans I may have, which excites and interests me the most. To me, I am finally given a purpose, a goal in Karakura and the school.
What could you contribute to make the school a safe and fun environment?:
I can contribute myself, a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand to hold or pull one to their feet, and even my whole self as a pillar to hold somebody else’s structure when they truly need it the most. Everybody needs support, no matter who they are, they require a sense of security and calmness to properly function. No question about it. If one thinks otherwise, I suggest they rethink their choices, especially if they want a role of this kind. As for fun, I am unsure. While I am usually a very serious and formal person, I know how to let others have fun, though I do not know how to initiate anything of the sort, as my version of fun bore many others. For example; reading and writing are fun to me, even studying, but that is how I was brought up by my mother. To be completely honest, I can be a bore, though I do not mind involving myself in activities with other people because I want to experience what others find fun or anything they might enjoy doing. Maybe I can get a new hobby along with the few I have. I do enjoy learning new things- well. . learning in general, but maybe I will fit right in. Actually, I tell a lie, I find roasting marshmallows fun. I experienced it once, and I had quite an exciting time!
