Describe your activity on the server:
My activity on the server is shared between two accounts, the one I am applying with and my cheerleader account. Currently, I am demoting more time to my cheer account. This is due to me not enjoying my current occupation on this adult account. With this application, I am hoping to change that by joining the KPD. I spend roughly 3 to 5 hours online each day. However my activity all together in the community is a lot larger. I spend a lot of my time on discord even when I am not on the server, or in google docs preparing for upcoming events or my own personal projects in the community. It is safe to say I dedicate a lot of time and effort into the community, which won’t be changing anytime soon. I have one more week left of exams and then I am free from highschool! Therefore, I will have a lot more free time to spend on doing what I love.

As of now, I am in the BST timezone. This probably won’t change as I have zero plans of moving elsewhere.

What is your motivation for applying?:
Over the years I have spent on SRP, I have been affiliated with different job factions. These would include KHS, EMS and the Gov. As I have spent time in jobs which work closely with the KPD, I have been able to see the type of work they do in action. This has not only inspired me to apply, but made me more motivated in general to connect with a job faction. I’ve noticed how active the faction is, which is something previous jobs I had lacked. This is not my only course of motivation, I do in fact also have friends OOCly which are a part of the faction. This has influenced me as I see how much they enjoy it and so I wish to be a part of the fun whilst working in an active (and also dangerous) job. In short, the KPD ticks all of the boxes of things I am looking for in a faction.
What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
Through my thorough research into police work, I have gathered the following information which has broadened my overall view on the job description. Police officers are the key to maintaining public order by combating organised crime. They serve to protect and maintain law and order to improve the quality of life of the public. Police officers work closely with the criminal justice systems and community groups to provide assistance with organizing a safe environment for events and social gatherings, as well as protecting members of the government during trials.
As a cadet, the main focus is learning. Cadets spend most of their time in the department training with other officers, behind the front desk handling any members of the public that have something to report, at the CCTV desk when assisting other officers out in the field and so on. They are the bottom of the food chain, probably the most eager to learn out of all the ranks. They are of course the most inexperienced, so most of their work is dependent on assisting from the sidelines and most of their work is supervised.
After passing their two or three weeks of cadet training, police officers are expected to answer calls, patrol Karakura, take part in more field work without supervision, and go off-duty. They will also be expected to continue the work of a cadet too, behind the desk and handling CCTV when needed. As they are promoted, more responsibilities are to be handled and done well.
Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
Without the help of the KPD, GANGRP would more than likely take over the entire server base. GANGRP is a big aspect of Karakura, which many take part in and enjoy. With that being said, those who don’t partake but get caught in the middle of it may not enjoy it so much. That is where the Police come in! KPD do their best to control and contain GANGRP activities where they can, protecting the innocent citizens of the city and doing their best to put those who are guilty behind bars. GANGRP entails a lot of violence, destruction, threats and action. The most recent example being an entire gang war between two famously known gangs. KPD alongside EMS do their best to halter the destruction and mend the broken pieces from it.
The KPD overall have a big influence over crime in Karakura, as they have the tools and training to limit how much crime goes on. This is widely important, as without the use of the KPD, we’d be having purge events every second day on the MAIN server. The Police force are hardworking and put in the effort to keep the citizens of Karakura safe and sound in town. Karakura is known to have a major crime problem, so every small step taken by the Police force to stop it is appreciated greatly by those it helps. Maybe not so much by those committing the crimes though. The Police also do their best to attend every case assigned, as the more they can do to help, the less damage is left behind.

Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
Find out icly. . . Just kidding! Regina Saiky in short is a tall, blonde badass. Athletics has always been a side hobby of hers, mainly to keep her sane. She isn’t always uptight though, no no no. Off-duty Regina is a completely different person. Partying and having fun is her priority! She likes to have a good time, and likes to make sure those around her are too. It’s safe to say that any Police dinner parties will be attended by Miss Saiky. She is unique in her family due to how let loose she is! She isn’t afraid to change things up and be silly from time-to-time. It should also be said that she is quite a demanding and strict character when she needs to be. If she wants something, she gets it. Working hard is what she was raised to do after all.
How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
Regina is all about impressions. She holds a confident demeanor and is often seen making conversation. In a professional situation, she merely holds herself to what is expected. Speak when necessary, behave according to the job at hand, show politeness and control her emotions. Even if she is annoyed by something, she’ll bottle it until the time is right to express those emotions. In casual situations, she is more laid back. Regina is most often aware of who and what is around her but she won’t act like a police dog alerting their officer of substance. Making conversation and cracking a joke or two is to be expected when she’s floating about, that’s for sure.
What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
Regina has been a lone wolf for a long time. However now she has settled back with her family and wants to start working, a team doesn’t sound so bad to her. She’d like to of course get to know her co-workers and hopefully get along with them. If she can do that then she would enjoy the idea of working as a team with them. I did mention she enjoys talking and having fun right? Therefore, as long as they get along then there will be zero issues when working together. If she can’t stand her co-workers, well… she’ll put up with it. Working with difficult people comes with the job, does it not?
Do you see yourself as a leader or a follower? Why?
I am blunt, demanding and determined. So yes, I do see myself as a leader. I am also quite a sensitive person, which I consider a good characteristic to have when being in charge. You don’t want to be dismissive and old-fashioned when it comes to decision making after all. I easily take on responsibility, and usually do well in succeeding with the task at hand. I take what I am responsible for seriously, no need to beat around the bush there. Some may call me a perfectionist, I say I am merely doing what is asked of me. I think I am an easy person to follow too. When asking somebody what I need from them, I am usually detailed in my request and straightforward. No time to waste!
BACKSTORY (100+ words)
Regina Saiky was born and raised in the town of Karakura. She was raised with her four siblings in the estate, being the youngest of the four. She was practically raised with her nieces and nephews due to this, only being a couple of years older than most of them. Throughout college she worked hard, you could say she was a bit of a nerd. Being the youngest, she wanted to prove herself just like her now successful siblings did. Once college arrived, she decided it was time to let loose a little! As well as letting her athletics become more prominent in her life. She joined the cheer team, just like her older sister did. She had a good mix of having fun and studying, that’s for sure. After graduation rolled around, it was time to hit the road! She swiftly packed her bags and headed off to Europe. She considered this her reward for sticking in school and actually coming out of it with a degree. She spent a couple of years moving around the globe. Eventually, she decided it was time to head back home and settle back in with her family, despite all of the fun she had travelling. So now, here she is! Back in Karakura and trying to fit back into civilization.

If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
My first course of action would be to make sure the body cam of my uniform is switched on, capturing evidence for future reference. I would then approach the situation and resolve it by removing the co-worker from the situation by any means necessary. I would then check on the inmate, making sure they are well and stable. If they require medical attention that would be the next step. However if they are okay, I would leave them and then take my footage of the scene of a higher ranking officer.
What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
I would firstly check the surroundings to see if there are more than one ready to jump in on my co-worker and radio for backup if required. If it appears EMS is needed, they will also be contacted. To handle the assaulter, I would tase and then cuff them. They would then be placed under arrest soon after.
What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
I would compile evidence to support this accusation against my co-worker. If evidence is secured then it would be taken to a higher ranking officer to handle the consequences.
How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
This would be considered a fine-able offence. If they cannot pay the fine for their attempted bribery, they would be arrested.
