Why are Teachers so Important to SchoolRP?
Why are teachers important in SRP? Well, firstly, we can bring up the huge major realization. SRP is called School Roleplay. Indicating the server is based around the school. This includes students and teachers, and adding to that, SRP has added professors. Teachers help to maintain the roleplay and overall flow of SRP.
Why are they exactly important, though? Well, bringing up the whole point of school roleplay, without teachers, those who hold the Grade-12 role and under can't and probably won't be able to roleplay out being a normal high school student. Teachers are there in SRP to fulfill not only their roleplay but also others. Keeping the students in line alongside other school employees creates a maintained learning environment for students to receive a proper education and schooling experience.
SRP teachers are there to help people actually learn, too. The way teachers function in SRP is to plan and to make sure students are ready to complete high school and go on to college if their character wishes to seek a higher education. SRP teachers are the first stage of a school. Though if we think, if we didn't have school teachers, SRP would be considered only a college roleplay, which is not what the server is based on.
What should teachers do? Well, teachers should plan according to their class, allowing people to actually learn and understand the material. Teachers should not be going and making plans that are not related. to the corresponding subject.
This is what I think about teachers and how their importance to SRP is tremendous.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive, you may lose your role?:
Yes, I do understand that if I am inactive for a long period of time without notifying anyone or if it is too persistent, I can be removed from the faction as a whole.

Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?:
Yes, I do understand that upon getting this role, I will have to undergo proper training for teaching before I can teach. And I am willing to proceed with the training.

What's your character's full name?:
[!] Stepping into the small office, his eyes locked onto the person, quaking an eyebrow at first. Taking a few steps forward, pulling out the chair to the desk. He offered a hand in a handshake. [!]
"Greetings, my name is Otto von Moltke. Pleasure to be here with you today."
[!] He flashed a snarky little smile, though he meant well. He pulled his hand back. To rest along his legs. He hummed a bit, getting settled. [!]

What is your character's nationality?:
[!] Raising an eyebrow for a moment, his smile softened a bit. [!]
"I am German, hint the last name and the first.. and last name'
[!] moved his left leg over his right, folding them. His fingers intertwined. Leaning back a bit to get a bit more comfortable in the state he was in, His eyes lingered around the office, a hint of curiosity flashing in them. Taking in the office decor and layout, taking note. [!]

What is your preferred subject to teach?:
[!] Redirecting his attention, a crude smile was seen. [!]
"Ah, well, I find that culinary would be the best suit for me! Honestly, I love baking and cooking, hehe."
[!] He let out a soft laugh, his fingers tapping along his knee gently. The male's ring glimmered a bit in the soft-spoken light. [!]

1764382187174.pngDescribe your character:1764382324303.png
A tall male stood before you at the height of 6 '0, he had long black hair that reached around his mid-temple. His long hair shimmered like silk, and well kept. Complimenting his pale skin. Otto would have a fine, built structure, with his original clothing being rather flashy; he wears different clothes at work, presenting more appropriately. Otto would have soft brown eyes, though one eye would be covered with an eyepatch, unsure if it was his aesthetic or if he actually needed it. He would wear a cologne 4711 by Muelhens, adorned with the scent of a fresh citrus blend, with a subtle hint of lemon, orange, and bergamot.
Otto would have a soft German accent. Though it carried a hint of Japanese along with it.

What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
What is his overall outlook? Well, his overall outlook on the school is just simple. He loves the school, he loves teaching, and treats it like his own. Respecting everyone there overall.

Overall outlook on other faculty can remain the same, as long as they give the same respect. He does not stand for those who disrespect him. Taking another observation, he does not think of anyone any differently, he will not sit in school and listen to others' problems unless it is retaining to school problems. He can get out of school to listen to that. His main priority is to focus on his job and the students at hand.

His overall look towards the students, he treats them like his own children, he makes sure they understand the object, he wants them to move to college, and he sees all the kids as unique and different. He will sit there and listen to the outside-of-school problems and try his best to comfort his students. He is there for a reason to secure student safety, no matter the issue at hand. He will have to be strict with some of them, but he tries not to.

What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
What is Otto’s actual motivation for being a teacher? Well, when he was little, he was a very smart kid. Almost a prodigy. He spent many days learning and looking up to teachers who put their own efforts into their jobs, showing great admiration for it. He felt the urge to work towards being a teacher, to help the future generation of kids move past and become adults, or even go to college. He doesn’t care what a kid wants to do, he only cares that he can enhance their motivation to become what they wanna be.

He, he has experience in many things, not only in cooking. He has experience in law and medicine as well. He was a very smart kid who took many classes and understood them so fast. Being who he is, he set his journeys to go to Karakura, where most of his family is currently, hearing good things about the school and much. He decided that he wanted to teach in Karakura, to push his efforts of wanting kids to grow up with a good future for them.

Roleplay Scenarios

A student in class is struggling to understand the content. What would your character do?:

Raising an eyebrow, he turned around, looking at the student who seemed confused. He walked over, crouching to their level in a soft smile and a mellow tone. He spoke..

"What don't you understand?" Tilting his head.

As the student struggled to answer, he moved down to help. Reading what they were working on, he smiled and took a paper of his own and looked at the student. Nodding his head as he started to draw, he suggested that the student follow along. Taking his time with the student, as his class is more self-paced. He paused and let the student catch up. If the student were to struggle to understand more, he would change the subject and write down something a bit simpler. His class is never meant to make students stressed, but to make sure they have the free will to draw and create anything they want, with some guidelines, of course.

A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Turning around from the backboard, he grumbles a bit as he raises his voice gently to tell them to stop being disruptive and that they will have plenty of time to talk after the lesson. Though once he turned and they continued, he moved his hands onto the stand and raised his voice once more. Telling them that they will be removed from class if they continue, as he takes teaching and others' learning very seriously. If they continue, though, and do not take his warnings seriously, he will give them detention slips and remove them from his class. Though let's say they continue outside the class. Banging on the door and yelling? He would move his hand to his radio and ask for another faculty member to assist as he was in the middle of teaching. Not wanting to stop it for some disruptive students. If no one can answer, he will assess the situation himself.

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
Firstly, culinary is already a very active class, so therefore, these are a few ideas.

‘Competition!!!”
Ever wanted to have a bake-off? Show off YOUR skills? Well, in culinary, there is always a chance; this lesson would include students getting into groups of 3-4, and they would have to agree on what exactly to make. Following whatever food topic the teacher has picked.
For example, we can pick desserts. The students have to agree to make ONE dessert.

Students will need to be able to detail roleplay, communicate, and have a blast doing this!
At the end of this lesson, students will present their dessert. Meaning this can go into TWO classes, maybe! Even though it's near the end of the actual baking. Students who win will most likely get a sticker. Votes can be cast by other students or teachers/staff who are present during that lesson.

‘ Follow-Along’
Even though culinary is for freedom of choice to cook, students will need to learn how to follow along. Such as following a Cook Book. Students will be individual and or in pairs, they will follow along step by step. Students will be allowed to make changes to their dishes, as they please. However, they are expected to follow what the teacher is doing.

‘Baking Cake’
Baking a cake is simple. This follows along with the Follow-Along activity. They will follow each step according to what the teacher, or even the book, says. From time to time, though, he will allow students to look up recipes to try. Making sure they are safe to cook and edible to eat.

Have you read and understood the Teacher Application Guidance thread?
Yes, I have fully read the teacher Application Guidance, and if needed, will read it again if I need to.

NOTES:

This is me applying on an alt; therefore, if you are looking for current activity. Please use my main CybrSkullz to see full activity, as my main is what I am currently on due to Basketball tags.

Thank you for reading either or.

Possible Credits Given.

Also, how students can earn points or credits for this class:
Students can earn credits by doing homework, as many people know. The way students can earn credits in a culinary class is when von Moltke teaches lessons about safety upon tempter, safety cleaning protocols. And most ever stuff you would need to learn on a “Food Handlers” test,” Only if allowed upon higher up request.

Students will be given homework based on those small things. And higher-ups allow me to take a semi-identical food handlers test as a practice for SRP; they can be graded on that as well.

Please note, the food handler’s “Test’ isn’t gonna actually be a test. It would be considered a small quiz based on what they know. It’s homework and not an actual assigned quiz in class. This was talked about via DMs with the VP.
