Karakura News

Hello Karakura! It’s your favorite person, Sea KIrigaya! Today we’ll be going through the different gangs and organizations and the KPD's view on them, along with an interview with the mayor THE FUEL Crime is nothing new to Karakura due to its already raw and normal nature, to us that is. If you think about it, hearing the phrase “Someone just got killed!” is really a brush over for anyone who’s lived in Karakura long enough to build a tolerance for it, and that’s not a good thing either. While cops are trying their best to somewhat suppress or control the never-ending spike in crime, I do feel like it is possible with the help of the citizens and first-hand witnesses of these crimes. The extinction of Karakura will be the...
23/02/2022 TOMOCHIN TAIKAN Good evening Karakura News, this is Tomochin Taikan with some rather perplexing news. We had hoped that any targeted attacks or severe crime would be on the low ever since the life-threatening Kishi situation, however something completely devastating has posed a threat to Karakura. Apart from the police force, we know of few individuals that have legal possessions of firearms within the bounds of the city - however as of recent more and more incidents of gun-wielding individuals causing threat have been uncovered. This leads us to just last night where there was a shooting within one of Karakura’s towers. Kurabu Tower, owned by Ena Sang, suffered a shooting quite suddenly. An unidentified helicopter...
Rosalie Martin here reporting on the latest debut. The perception of paranormal life, or rather death, has perplexed people for centuries. While some are firm believers, there has also been an array of skeptics. While reported sightings of ghostly encounters are slim in the city of Karakura, one place seems to have been attracting the attention of many. Masamuru Subway Station. After some time spent digging to ascertain information as to what caused the station's collapse, all that could be found was an old new report from 05’. According to the report, in September of that same year two students were trapped beneath the rubble of the station. Out of resent, some assume the spirits of those two young teens lerk the station preying...
9/3/22 Umeda Kame Hello, cool citizens of Karakura!! Yesterday I was feeling a little quirky and nosey and decided to send out a poll asking you all how life was in Karakura. The poll was strictly anonymous, and even with the results I’ve ensured your identity to be hidden. Besides all of that, here are those cool results! Starting off with the ages. I kind of hated that there were actually kids who took this, oh well. The average age was 20-22, normal to be honest. Those kids are more into this stuff than others. Next, I asked you guys where you were born….. But that was in all honesty a filler question.!! However, the average was Japan!! Next was home information, pretty simple. SURPRISINGLY!! You guys aren't homeless, happy...
21/02/22 Umeda Kame Y’ello citizens!! Are you interested in sharing homes and finding new friends… but don't have an apartment or friends to room with, or just plain poor? Well, with new arrivals to Karakura Real Estate, they introduced shared housing! Now you don't have to worry about needing friends to room with anymore, nor having a good-sized home or apartment when broke! With 12 brand new houses, the same model as the others to fit with the Karakura core, fully furnished and customizable rooms. Each house has 2-4 rooms in each, a small section for storage and other basic necessities! Each room costs ¥25,000 every 30 days, and the whole house is shared per tenant! I, myself, have toured a few of these houses. The backyards are...
25 February 2022 Mami Mio Lulu Yu is perhaps one of the greatest icons of modern Karakura, but what does she think about the current state of the world? A twenty-four year old entrepreneur, operating one of the largest and most valuable businesses in the city, her influence and girlbossery is undeniable. The footage cut to Mami Mio sitting alone in the interview room, the clock beside her facing the camera, reading 13:32. M.M “Readers, listeners, and watchers. I am here with no one. Lulu Yu is late, but no worries, I haven’t a doubt in my mind that she’ll be with us soon. As a girlboss, her schedule must be busy.” Finally, Lulu Yu arrives. M.M “Good afternoon, Mrs. Lulu Yu. Tell us a little bit about yourself, please, what store do...
17/02/22 Tomochin Taikan and Meikan Masuo Hey guys! Meikan here. I'm finally back from my short break. Hopefully, you didn't miss me, haha! Today, myself and Tomochin have finished working on the report about Valentine's Day! Hope you enjoy readin' our precious work! To start off, I will be discussing the history of Valentine's Day and why it is celebrated. Saint Valentine was a third-century Roman saint, who is commemorated in Western Christianity on the 14th of February (or the 6th of June for eastern orthodoxy). The day named after him is a day for courtly love. If you didn’t know, St. Valentine worked as a clergyman, being a priest alongside that who ministered Christians who were persecuted. The rules set by the Roman Empire...

Special greetings, Hope this short piece of hearsay finds you well! Rosalie Martin reporting. Here’s the divulge on Karakura’s growing homeless problem Introduction As you amble through the city, you’ll often come by makeshift huts and rain covers. Homes lacking a roof, many unable to maintain heat in the winter months. Roaming the city's many alleyways, small fires can also be found alongside wooden shelters as people's only way of keeping warm. Families of all different numbers sleeping in the various alleyways with no place to call their own. Many of Karakura’s average citizens pass by these places without concern shielded from the struggles these people face. The housing problem within Karakura is a true issue, seeming as...
7/2/2022 Umeda Kame Yesterday I had the privilege of attending a private funeral for the deaths of Reizo Tokushima, Paola Kodama, and Andre Sakurako. The event began with both EMS and officers dressed in their formal wear, and in a neat line; High rank -> Lowest Rank. The commissioner briefly departed with the hospital director, in search of a fitting sight for the funeral. After that, the two returned to gather their faction members. There was also an appearance from Mayor Alex Koji. We made our way to the site, and the commissioner started it off with a lovely speech about each of the fallen... After the speech, he allowed members of the force to give speeches. Here is a list of all who spoke about them, from what I remember...
31/01/2022 Umeda Kame Yesterday was a tragic loss for the city of Karakura. Leading to the events that have happened, I’ll get into them in a few. Police Commissioner Reizo Tokushima, K115 had passed away in an all-out shoot-off with Metagarou Tachitsu, an ex-mercenary, and ex-Kishi lead. This gunfight resulted in both of their deaths. Let's jump into how the brawl began, and the events following it. The whole situation began when Tachitsu scaled the side of the KPD, going to the roof of the station in an attempt to hijack a helicopter, in the hope of most likely fleeing the country due to not being able to go through normal airports. Just as he started taking off, Tokushima ran up and hopped onto the helicopter, and began their...
01 February 2022 Mami Mio Happy February everyone! Wonder what is in the stars for you today? I have consulted an expert in astrology, myself, to uncover what is in store for everyone today. Aquarius This month, you will be handed a major challenge. While it may be hard for you to refrain from proving to others how great you are, you may want to turn down the opportunity. Show people that you know where your priorities belong. It matters! Pisces February is going to be a passive month for you. For this month, let everything take its natural course, try your best not to interfere with the plans of the universe. This is a month for you to sit back and experience things as they happen. Things are all going to work out. Aries February...
22/01/2022 TOMOCHIN TAIKAN Happy Friday, Karakura! Recently, there’s been a lot of negativity in the media due to sudden gang attacks or tough court cases. The city as a whole has suffered a lack of positive influence recently. We’re turning a new page as we enter February, the name literally stems from “to cleanse” - so, let’s do exactly that! I went around the city, asking people how they cope healthily when things get tough, and what advice they would give to others. Feel free to take any of these tips or call the number at the bottom of this report if you’d like to respond or give your own opinion! [IZUKE.MP4] > [TT] “First off, do you feel comfortable giving your name?” “Yes, I am. Do you want my full name?” [TT] “First name...
[ Flipping to the next page, you're greeted by a long editorial, the big banner being at the top of the page. The newspaper was fresh, just being put on your doorstep, the odd "book smell" accompanying the bland black-and-white paper. Skimming through the paragraphs you start to notice the mention of kidnappings. .others quoting-- sewage workers. . ? ] SHOPPING DISTRICT SEWAGE TUNNELS JANUARY 29TH, 2022 29 days into the New Year, two gangs, known as Kanto Manji-Kai and Akuma Shidan, waged war on one another, the most recent attack taking place in one of Karakura’s underground sewage maintenance buildings. The small corridor in the sewers is directly below the shopping district. Old offices, meetings rooms, and even a cafeteria are...
February 1 2022 Rosalie Martin here, updating on the latest! Bear sightings have significantly increased as of recently. However with the rising sightings, so do the attacks. The Grizzly Bears are known for their thick beautiful brown fur with silvery tips, large paws, and a dished concave face. The grizzlies are found in various places around the world. Their diet is mostly made up of fish, berries, and nuts, the Grizzlies most likely found their way here in Karakura to scavenge the forest, and scrounge up what goodies are leftover from the campsite. Popular among many cultures, Bears have made influences as inspiration for cartoon characters, Symbols, and much more. Bears also play an important part in ecosystems as a Keystone...
22/01/2022 TOMOCHIN TAIKAN Hello Karakura, this is Tomochin Taikan with breaking news for you all today. Over the last month or so there has been a rise in gang activity from the infamous “KISHI”, a gang led by Metagarou Tachitsu - a runaway from the police. Let me give you a brief recount of the recent events regarding the gang: On the 29th December, 2021 Metagarou Tachitsu had become an officially wanted man. He was a convicted gang leader who fled from the Karakura Police Department upon being brought back for an interrogation with DSI Ernesto Martinez. The ambulance carrying him toward the local hospital was ambushed by Kishi gang members, who successfully helped Tachitsu escape. Metagarou was later captured by the police force...

20/01/22 Meikan Masuo Hi, Karakura. Sorry that this report took so long to make. It's been five days since the event at the town hall and my goal in mind was to give people enough information to create their own opinion on the situation, albeit the lack of controversy that the court case and resolve actually had. I hope you enjoy this report, it took me a lot of effort and a couple of sleepless nights to complete. Anyway, let's get started. It all started when two individuals, seemingly the girl's friends, filed a court case against Bao Koji for attacking his niece, Saeko Koji. For some undisclosed reason, the two plaintiffs claimed to have dropped out, causing the case to also drop. Ernesto Martinez, who, in the mind of a detective...
16/01/22 Umeda Kame For those who don't know, or have been living under a rock. Kishi Division is a highly deadly gang that causes havoc and pain across the town of Karakura. Their lead, Metagarou Tachitsu, is a mercenary that took the lead of this gang not too long ago. Tachitsu recently escaped prison, with the help of his gang while being escorted to the hospital to seek treatment for injuries. During that raid to free Tachitsu, Kishi took hostage Malachi Moralez, their leverage in this whole situation. From there, he’s been hiding out in an unknown location while the rest of his gang were at a stand-still in their base until today. Today, the Karakura police force breached the Kishi Division turf. Using explosives, they blew...
January 19 2022 Rosalie Martin For some time Karakura has been a place full of violence. School teachers face harassment on a daily basis, Hospital staff are under the constant pressure of having the life of many those in their hands. Many of these are children. Even individuals from all around the world arrived in the city of Karakura, their first experiences being unjust. Daniel Lacrosse, a 36-year-old art teacher at Karakura high school explains the difficulties he faces. “It is for sure an interesting job, I love it. The SLT are some very kind and friendly people, and Co-Workers always try to help you! The thing that makes the job hard, is the students.” School faculty are harassed by students daily. Disrespected in sways...
